Yellow Cabs Kamloops

Guy was rude and ignorant on the phone. Told 10-15 mins and 45 mins still waiting. Call back told the cab will be there waited another 20 mins and canceled. Such a joke and zero f$cks given on their end

Worst cab service I've ever had! Never tell you approx time, then when you wait over and hour and call repeatedly they just say the cab is near and 15min, 2 min, when really it's over and hour and 20min now and counting! Rude

Horrible. I had to wait an hour+ in the cold at night. Called them after 45 min of waiting, and got told 5-10 min, after 15 i called again and was told 5 min. Only after close to an hour and a half did a cab show up. Use the other cabs and save yourself the trouble.

Called 1.5 hours ahead for a booking, was still late. Terrible customer service, no vehicle tracking. Use Kami if you absolutely need to cab

Do not use Yellow cab.
I told them where I wanted to go and he drove me on a wrong direction after 3 min of driving he decided to tell me the debit machine is not working and I should pay with cash which I did not have. And suggest we go to a debit machine first which was even far away from my 7 min destination. I gave him the money and he told me he doesn't have changed and he will drop me off the road if I don't have the exact amount. After a long 5 hour flight and waiting 30 min for the taxi this is what I had to go through. I had to walk for 30 min under the hot summer sun and take the bus which was coming in 43 min. If I could give no star I would.

Needed a ride to work in the morning. Called 40 minutes ahead to be safe. Dispatcher said 10-15 min wait or that it'll arrive soon each time I called, I called every 15 mins. They finally show up an HOUR in, obviously I was very late for work. Once he arrived, the driver was very nice, but he went the wrong way at first, then when I pointed it out, he took the long way to my destination.

Only call them if you are absolutely desperate & have no other option.

Half an hour late. I called at 15 minutes late and when I gave him the address I don't even think he sent the cab cuz you just told me it would be 15 more minutes

Waited in the rain, finally had a driver confirm only to cancel and label it as a “no show” although he was 10 minutes from my pickup location. I had to rebook my taxi and wait even longer in the rain, and it never got another driver.

Was told 20 minutes. 3.5 hrs later, I get a call from the driver, and he gets mad at me for not letting them know

I had my grandma waiting for a cab for over an hour when they said half an hour. Went outside to wait and they drove past me and waved so I called and they said it would be two minutes.okay.so I waited and they drove past us more. I kept calling them back and they eventually started saying half an hour to 40 minutes when my cab driver just kept driving past me.they put me on the back burner and due to my grandma's mobility issues this was very hard on her to be waiting for so long when you're told 2 more minutes. Kami cabs so much more reliable and quick. Yellow Cabs drove past me 4 times today, I don't even know how.

Pre-booked early morning pickup with the app- no show. Called dispatch - no answer. Completely pointless.

I used this service last weekend for my trip to Kamloops. I had a wonderful experience! I was honestly hesitant because of the bad reviews but I thought, why not! The first driver I had wasn’t the best however I had the same guy (initials J. G) twice after that and he was amazing. Very respectful, friendly conversations and wonderful recommendations! He was a wonderful driver, fast, efficient and safe! I’d give him 10 stars!
The fella who took my initial call all three times was rude but that aside I’d give them another shot if I was in town.

Literally never had a good experience. The dispatchers are so rude, don’t know anything, and every time you ask them how long is it going to take, they snap at you. One time called a cab they told me it’s going to take “5-10 minutes” the cab never ended up coming lol. Good luck to anybody that needs a ride! Don’t ever use their services please and save yourself money.

We almost got in a head-on collision. The guy was driving in the wrong lane was insane almost died.

Tried to book an accessible vehicle for Saturday so my grandma could attend our our wedding brunch. Was told, with zero explanation, that they didn't have any vehicles. The dispatcher was curt and rude and offered no suggestions for alternatives. What a joke.

Told the cab the address, we stood outside and I missed a call. They claimed I wasn't outside but I saw them leave 1 block before my address and left us in the cold. No wonder why so many people drink and drive

Booked the cab 24 hours in advance. Was assured the cab would arrive at 4: 30 am. No cab ever showed. Called company and was told yellow cabs don't drive at this time of day! You kidding me? Terrible company!

Called for a cab, waited 25 min, cab never showed, no one answered to give me an eta. It’s been almost an hour since my first call and they still haven’t shown up.

They need to go out of business. Most useless transport service in the world. Trashy dispatchers

Ridiculously disappointing. We booked a cab at 5 am and 50 minutes later it still had not arrived. Pathetic. I Attempted to call THREE times and let it ring a dozen times with no answer, eventually we were extremely fortunate to flag down a Kamis cab who was awesome. But my friends who are brand new to Canada from the Ukraine still
Missed there bus due to the wait and our inability to get ahold of anyone after being promised the taxi was being sent on its way immediately. I will walk next time before ever calling yellow cabs in Kamloops.

I hope Uber come in and take over rude dispatchers, hung up on me when they were not busy, don't answer when you call back, don't know how they are still in n business, pretty sure the good reviews on here are written by the owners or people they work there

Never showed and dispatcher non English speaking so couldn't understand pick up instructions. Cab never showed. Competitor finally did but not much better
