My Son loved sharing, learning and creating art with his incredible instructor and kids in his class.
His paintings are jaw dropping and they were created in an engaging and sharing atmosphere.
Thank you so much, his skills have moved to a next level.

Young Artists’ place is awesome, my daughter is inspired by Janice and Haylee and loves drawing just more and more. We have continually registering for a few years now and every class we registered it just feel the kids had so much fun. Great place for kids learning arts.

I took adult watercolour classes with Divya. It was a fun and enjoyable experience in a non intimating and relaxing environment. Both Divya and Janice were so kind and patient and very encouraging. Art classes are not just for kids! It brought me a lot of joy.

Both of my kids, 7 and 9 years old, have been taking classes at young artists’s for three semesters. They really enjoyed every class there. They said they really enjoyed the small class room, not too crowded. My kids will definitely be back for summer camps this year! Highly recommend

6 stars! Requested a special private adult painting lesson for a birthday and had an amazing time with Janice. She was able to accommodate and set up an amazing learning experience. Spent a couple hours painting a picture of our choice and had a blast! Highly recommend for all ages!

My daughters have been attending this art studio for the past 3 years and they’ve both had an amazing experience. All of the teachers they’ve had have been wonderful and we’ve recommended the classes to various friends whose kids have also loved it.

My child recently did a week of the Manga Art Summer Camp with Janice. They said that the class and the setup had a very welcoming environment. The class was small which made it easier to get to know other students and the teacher. Overall, my child rated the camp a 10/10! They had so much fun and learned a lot!

Great spot for art lessons in South Burnaby for the kids! Nice bright studio space for the summer classes, really friendly and knowledgable teachers, unique classes (sewing for kids!). Our little one immediately asked to take more classes here after completing a class this summer!

Wonderful local art school for kids. My daughter really enjoyed the manga summer camp. It was the right mix of projects, learning skills and some fun!

Young Artists' Place is such a beautiful little studio! I found it by accident, just searching for art classes for my son, and am so glad that I did.he has been taking one-on-one sketching lessons with Haley for the past year, and he absolutely loves it. He has learned a lot about light and shading and composition, and he is very proud of his accomplishments. Both Janice and Haley are very supportive and encouraging, and also great when it comes to accommodating our sometimes erratic schedules. We will definitely look forward to more lessons in the coming year, and hopefully to be able to check out some of the fun classes that they offer too!

We feel very lucky to have this wonderful art studio so close by in our neighbourhood! My kids have enjoyed taking classes here over the last couple of years, and it’s so cool to watch their skills continue to develop and become more refined over time. They are inspired by their teachers, and always keen to sign up for a new set to learn more!

My 6 year old daughter joined the Mixed media art class this Fall 2021 and she immediately felt in love with it. Her drawing skills got tremendous improvement after every class. We are so pleased to continue sign up her to other advanced classes in the future.

A grandson just turning 13 years-old was showing an interest in drawing and we asked if he'd like to take a few art classes. He said yes but only for pen and pencil sketching. We chose private lessons as the best introduction and booked a series of five with Haley of Young Artists' Place. The boy is pleased. He has completed two one-hour lessons and looks forward to the remainder. Perhaps more importantly, he is practicing at home and is picking up his art kit without directions or reminders. He may not be the next da Vinci but he is keen to gain skills and loves the time spent with instructor Haley.

My son and daughter have enjoyed their week long Manga Art Summer Camp tremendously. We much appreciate their instructors' (Janice and Thiseni) patience, guidance and encouragement in teaching them the ins and outs of how to create a comic strip. Janice makes each class fun and engaging. This art studio is a gem in the neighbourhood - highly recommended!

Janice has been working with my son since Oct 2020 and has built a great rapport with him. She’s knowledgeable, patient and very encouraging with his ideas. He loves his weekly lessons with her.

Janice has been working with my son (11 years) weekly since early January 2021. He loves her calm style, enthusiastic and skill set as an art teacher. She is very positive and thoughtful. Janice carefully chooses the words she uses and questions she asks my son about his art. I appreciate her open communication and willingness to book ahead. I highly recommend Janice as an art teacher!

I'll be writing as one who had been a student for a year. So I had no experience with drawing prior, as a digital artist. Janice is an incredibly kind instructor that has helped me a lot especially on the character side, skin rendering, clothing. Pertaining more to my current art exploration I benefited incredibly from her helping with my thought process and decision making. I'll show some of the more recent pieces I've done, finished and in progress pieces. If you're starting out looking for an comfortable place and a insightful instructor for digital art, you can't go wrong.

Janice is a talented teacher and wonderful artist! My family placed my little sister in two courses at Young Artist' Place - she enjoyed and learned so much! It was great to see her progress in her art! Give Janice and Young Artist' Place a try, it's really a gem to have in Burnaby!

Janice has created a fun, and welcoming space for my child who suffers from anxiety. He finds it hard to find safe spaces where he feels appreciated and understood and this has been the perfect spot!

Young Artist's Place is the best place for children who love arts! The instructor is super nice and great sense of art! Both my kids love to go there and enjoy the class!

Fun and relaxing place to learn different kinds of art. Very nice instructor. Whoever’s also interested in learning digital drawing, I would recommend this class.
