Your Dollar Store With More

Great variety of dollar store items. Found some great kids items as well as household and seasonal products for very reasonable prices.

I’ve had at least three bad experiences now, the last of which pushed me over the edge. 1) Their stock is subpar at best. They have a lot but are missing a lot of basic home items. For example, I’ve gone in five or so times looking for a simple broom and they never have them in stock. I know they sell them, as I saw a customer on his way to the till once with one, but they seem to sell out immediately or they are just really bad at keeping up with stock. 2) The staff are rude and unprofessional. They don’t greet customers at the till. As others have noted, their employees tend to stand around and complain to each other about work related things, making customers feel awkward while standing at the till. Last week, an employee loudly and boisterously shouted about how she couldn’t wait to get out of there as it had been such a terrible day, as she passed me on the aisle. 3) The hours online and on the door show the store is open until 8: 00pm. I showed up at 5: 35pm today to find the employees shooing customers out and locking the door. No explanation given as to why. With this kind of service, I don’t see this location lasting much longer.

Went for balloons. It was way more expensive than it should be for some helium balloons. It took the worker 20 min to fill 12 balloons while two other workers stood around complaining about other random things. I wouldn't recommend this store, and next time I'll go somewhere else for balloons.

So much craft stuff in this one, both sides of the whole aisle are jam-packed.
It is a bit more pricey than your regular dolllarstore though.

Not sure why they call it a dollar store? I saw puzzles when I first walked in that are $20 that are cheaper at London Drugs. I only spent a few minutes there, but everything seems more expensive than you can find at regular retail. Guess I don't get it.

Seriously overpriced merchandise. Clean, organized, and well kept, but prices sky high. $4 for a pinwheel that would have been $1 anywhere else.

Looks ok. Not a big store. Has some stuff. You may or may not find what you are looking for. For example I need rods for curtains. They dont have them. Just so you know.

Nice Staff And Clean Space, Some Of The Customers Are Rude But That Has Nothing To Do With The Brick N Mortar. Pretty Exceptional Place!

Staff is rude and kind of lazy. I feel like they don’t want to help the customers or work. Prices are also incorrectly marked sometimes. There have been days when the item turns out to be more expensive than the price on the shelf.

Staff is rude and not helpful. Items & prices are either not marked at all or priced wrong. I had to pay 2$ extra than the price tag that was very clearly marked for the product. The staff member literally put her hands up and gave me sassy body language for asking about the price. Go anywhere else but here.

Not the best selection as a dollar store. Also the same products at another one are the same price but better quality

Love this little dollar store. Helpful staff, and a good selection. I’ve always been able to find what I’m looking for.

Clerk asked for ID to buy a lighter (which is not required). They claimed it was necessary to be over 19 to purchase a lighter, which isn't true. I was unjustly discriminated against due to my age, before I asked for a manager who was very kind and helpful! As well, she was aware I didn't need ID for that.

I like this Dollar store. It has a lite more to offer then your typical dollar store therefore the prices do range right up to 20$ or so. But it is a great little shop.

Small place but has your run of the mill dollar store items, went in for nails to hang paintings and they were out. Service was nice as the staff was friendly. Not a bad experience.

Really unprofessional to have two employess yelling and swearing at eachother loud enough behind closed doors.as a customer this was very awkward.
