Your Dollar Store With More

Went to the store looking for a product, but the owner didn't seem interested in helping. Checked an aisle myself and they didn't have it. The owner seemed annoyed and said they already told me it wasn't there.

I come here often after work (as I work in the nearby plaza) and there is one lady who works here who is possibly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Buying things or interacting with cashiers is usually a rather stressful experience for me, however there hasn’t been a single time where I have felt unwelcome while she’s been working there. I wish I knew her name, but the second I find out I’ll be sure to update this review. Such kind people are hard to come across these days.

They have a good selection here. I went to get art supplies and found what I needed at a great price and staff was friendly.

Most of the reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of Barb. This woman deserves a raise - she is an awesome lady, super helpful and such a great person to talk to. Shes really funny.

Had a really great experience in there the other night. Took my 4 year old in to get a get well ballon for her aunt and the two younger ladies working there were amazing with my daughter. They had her help them pick out the balloons, ribbon, and told her to cover her ears when the tank was filling the ballon. Wouldn’t expect that friendly of service from a small dollar store but I was super impressed. I will definitely choose this dollar store over some of the other big ones.

I've been going here for awhile now and it is my go-to dollar store. The selection of products, both seasonal and year round, are always really good and obviously you can't beat dollar store prices. For the most part the customer service is fantastic, especially one of the lovely middle-aged cashiers who is just a wonderful friendly person. HOWEVER, they lost a star from me because of the person I believe to be the owner or manager because she has been very short/curt and boarder-line rude with me before just in regular interactions. When I brought some of my friends here to show them my fav dollar store she was very rude to one of my friends who was just bouncing a ball while we looked at toys for fun while we were all shopping. We were not being disruptive or destructive at all, and I felt like the rudeness was very unwarranted and definitely could have been addressed in a more polite/kind manner. Anyway, overall store and experience very good, and although I know it must be difficult to manage a dollar store where you are likely to get a lot of disruptive people and shop-lifting, I still think the manager could work on being just a little more polite to customers.

The selection at this location is not as much as some dollar stores, but it does have a lot. Some of the prices are very competitive with other dollar stores while some seem to be kind of high. The staff are so friendly and helpful it makes it a pleasure to shop here. There are a lot of party supplies so if you are throwing a party this would be a place to check out. There are also regular household cleaning items and organization items and crafting items. There is plenty of free parking outside.

This is the dollar store I still travel to make my purchases even though I moved several neighborhoods away. They have everything.

Best dollar store in town especially for kids parties. Their customer service is fantastic and the balloon selection is top notch!

This is possibly the worst customer service i have ever had. The Lady working there (60ish F grey hair) Was ridiculously rude. She basically shamed me in the store. I was embarrassed and frustrated at this lack of judgment and how she treated me. Please if possible, talk/fire this lady for treating me this way. She was awful.

Young lady working there was very helpful and enthusiastic about her work. Her co-worker/supervisor was very rude to her and that was hard to hear. Music was far too loud making it difficult to shop and think straight. Clerk has to check with the absentee owner to turn down the volume on the radio. Not a good experience.

Good selection—but I was surprised and disappointed that a timer that we bought there that proved defective could not be exchanged (with receipt), because more than 7 days had elapsed since purchase. Be advised.

Had a lovely and delightful shopping experience this afternoon at this location! The two ladies working were charismatic, upbeat, and hilarious to engage with and offered exceptional customer service. The store layout and maintenance was clean, organized and tidy. Supplies and products were on the lower end with a few shelves empty but I can’t fault staff for this; we are in the trilogy of a global health pandemic. Excellent work ladies!

I’m shocked, the customer service was absolutely terrible except for the young girl on cash, she was professional and friendly. I went in for an exchange because I was sold broken product and was met with hostility and basically called a liar as well as told I broke the product myself, the owner was condescending and not helpful at all and I was ganged up on by him and an older lady with superiority issues. It was literally a $5 exchange and I didn’t even want my money back, literally anywhere else would have accommodated it. I don’t usually write these but I’ve never been treated this poorly over something so small in a customer service environment. Do better

Came here because we had a balloon emergency! We bought our own helium tank to do our own balloons for my sisters bridal shower, long story shory they did not work out and we needed another option.they did our immense number of balloons in such a short amount of time and made them so beautiful! There were so kind and understanding as well! Highly recommend!

Large dollar store with decent quality products for pretty close to a dollar most times. This location has a large inventory and is a must for party decorations or any festive occasion. I’m always surprised by the fresh inventory and excellent seasonal products.

Very bad customer service. The lady was not friendly at all, and actually she is very good at telling you she is busy or it’s your fault for not getting something. I was there a few times for birthday balloons and the experience was never pleasant. Unbelievable.

I don't even remember why I visited this store but suspect I was getting breakfast at the McDonald's next door.

I've shopped at this store several times but after today will never go back again. I was always put off by the clowning around and loud talking that the staff do, at times oblivious to the fact that there are customers in the store. However today I witnessed a long time employee discussing her time working as a government employee and was telling out right lies about a couple of political people, even using their names and giving a customer intimate details of their relationship. And as usual she was talking in a loud voice for all of us in the store to hear. As a government employee I took offense to this and as a human being I was angry that I had to overhear the false rumors she was spreading. There were also a couple of young employees that were spending their time inhaling helium and laughing and singing. It's one thing to have fun on the job but they take it way too far!

This dollar store has it all! Don't bother going to any other dollar store, this place is the best!

I practically live in this store! So convenient and Owners will let you know if they can get something in.

It is not cheep at all, sometimes there is not much on the shelves, can be messy, but most of all one time i went with my friend and a new worker asked for us to take of our bags and leave it IN FRONT OF THE COUNTER and then SHE WALKED AWAY LEAVEING OUR BAGS FOR SOMEONE TO JUST COME BY AND TAKE OUR VALUABLES! Not the best exprience

A nice clean dollar store with a good selection. Less busy than the big green dollar stores, though perhaps a bit more $ for some items.

We are slowly running out of different dollar stores but this one is still there and going. Miss them in Langford

A handy and inexpensive place to buy cards, party supplies, batteries, and loads of handy things for the home.

You get what you pay for, so be careful. However there are lots of products that is of use and will last.

This Dollar Store is chock-a-block with everyfhing from party supplies to kitchen wares and everything in between - and it's right
next to McDonald's so you can load up with bargains and chow down on a Big Mac with fries and a big drink.

Worst service ever. Went in to pick up a parcel from UPS for my wife with the same address and last name and he wouldn’t release it to me all though the address matched my ID and I had the info notice. I called UPS and they tried to explain it to him but he wouldn’t listen and then he threatened to send the package back. He also showed me the form on the rules they go by and he was showing me the requirements needed by a business and demanding that the rules apply but my address is a residential one. He has also banned me from the store and I would never go there any ways with that kind of poor service. I wish I could give this no stars because I have never been treated this way by anyone in my life. And this is the owner of the store.

A fantastic birthday start here! Highly recommended the hilium balloon! I order lots of them! There are lots of choice and not only cheap stuff. Some of the items are really high quality with a reasonable price! The service was great, we really appreciate! Highly recommended!

I mean, it's a dollar store. Plenty of products at extremely affordable prices and friendly service who were able to point me in the right direction.

The staff are usually very friendly but this one time I went in there was a new worker. As soon as I stepped into the store she asked me to take off my backpack and put it by the front till. While in shock, since over the many years i’ve been into the store I have never been asked to do so, I took off my bag which had a lot of my valuables and put it by the front till. Keep in mind she told me to put it by the side of the unaccompanied till, it was not even behind the counter but infact in the complete open. Throughout the whole time l did not get good vibes. Won’t be going to this dollar store again! Well atleast not when this particular worker is there!

Great selection for a small dollar store, I always find what I am looking for. And very personable staff too!
