I’m here every week and I had to update my review to 5 stars!

The manger is one of the nicest men I have ever encountered and the food, is guilty goodness in my tummy!

Deliciousness overload!

I had the cheese Katsu and my partner the loin Katsu and both were off the charts amazing!

My only request/irk is to put on more suitable music, it was almost to the point of being obnoxiously loud/annoying and is the only reason we wouldn’t eat in again and only order takeout.
We went around 4pm and sadly we were the only ones there the entire time…
Hope this place gets busier, it was a wonderful surprise to stumble upon!

This is my absolute favourite place to get chicken (or cheese) katsu. The portions are generous and so tasty! While I usually end up having it delivered, I was able to eat there once with my sister and it was a wonderful experience with great staff! I'm not a big eater so I always have enough for two meals!

I could not recommend this place enough

Too crispy donkatsu, salad mixed with delicious sauce, and French fries!
Everything is perfect.

Ordered on Skip and they gave order to wrong courier
An hour and half later no food, just told "oh well, go away, we dont care"
Owners contacted and asked me to publicly post my email address!
They should have my phone number, they called me about order

Food is absolutely amazing everything is perfect! EXCEPT the service; the service I got from the server is terrible, next time will order takeout instead of dine in

We had a very pleasant lunch here. The burger was different from a conventional burger, interesting and very tasty. The katsu pork loin was crispy and succulent, accompanied by a lovely sesame drenched slaw.

We loved the place, the food and the service. We ordered the pork loin katsu combo and the cheese+ pork katsu combo and we were really happy and satisfied with the food. The combo comes with a delicious salad and a cold soup that was fine. The person working there was super nice. Totally recommended

I went for dinner, and got a udon broth soup, with fries and shared a bulgogi burger! All of the food was amazing, and each thing I had really stood out to me. To start, the broth of the udon soup was sooo flavorful with lots of tofu! Next, the fries were some of the best I have had! They were light, and had a tempera style batter. Lastly the burger was the perfect size, with lots of vegetables and a juicy patty! The service was also awsome! To wrap it up, I would highly recommend this place for anyone that loves Korean and Japanese food!

We had the loin katsu and fish katsu. Quick and efficient, great service, good portions, reasonably priced. It will be one of our new fave places to eat!

A very unique place to eat in Victoria. As such I recommend it. Fast service. Friendly too. Tasty food.

The bulgogi burger was very juicy and had a light sweetness from the Korean sauce, but it wasn't too saucy. Fries had that perfect flaky outside texture while soft inside.

Cheese katsu was gooey and crispy (perfect) and the sides were good.

I had the Pork Loin Katsu Combo. It was beautifully presented and delicious. I’ll definitely be back. A welcome addition to the Victoria food scene.

Expensive and underwhelming… not bad for exactly what it is, breaded fried pork chop but nothing special.

I'm glad to find and come this restaurant tonight. Great food and great service (friendly staffs<3)! I tried their cheese katsu combo which has a good portion and tastes amazing.

I have been craving to eat tonkatsu since the last I’ve had have been years ago already and since my brother is just new to Canada particularly to Victoria, I’ve searched for places we can eat and I am so happy I’ve stumbled upon Yukatsu&Uburger. Their Cheese Katsu is so good and I love cheese so it’s 11/10 for me and the cabbage slaw is also so so good ️ Their staff are friendly as well. I recommend this restaurant!

The food was pretty good! Definitely recommend the fish katsu over the cheese katsu one as you seem to get the most bang for your buck. The meal set wasn’t really necessary as the portion size is pretty big to begin with. You can pay for a side of rice, soup and pop (or fries if you got the burger).

There is a ton of coleslaw btw!

Also, I would personally not choose the burgers. My boyfriend got the bulgogi one and thought it was average.

Wished the space was bigger as it was quite busy. Given the dining space, it’s def more suited for smaller groups as there aren’t many 4 ppl tables

Amazing food and Great service.
Everything was really good.
I got the cheese katsu set. Wow. The Katsu was moist and a generous portion for the price. Loved dipping the salt and Wasabi with the cheese.
Probably the best katsu I've had in Canada.
Highly recommended!

Interesting place. The Katsu was pretty big and quite tasty, and came with a nice cabbage salad. The Bulgogi burger was good, but nothing super special. Dinner for 2 'combo' meals, was about $45. We'll come again as it is new and would like to see how the place fairs over the next months.
