Very bright place with a light decoration and delicious ice cream. I loved the mango flavor!

Tried both the ice cream and the candies.
Candies are a flat rate based on box size as long as the box closes flat, couldn't find this online anywhere. I would say the candies are on the upper end of the price range for candies. They are very good but honestly not sure if they are worth the price.
Ice cream is decent middle range ice cream the flavour i tried was extremely sweet but it was cookie dough extreme so kind of expected. It was absolutely crammed with cookie dough so it did deliver and the flavour was solid.

I went in to order 5 ice creams, 2 for kids in the car and was spoken to so rudely as though I was lying about kids to save a dollar? ! At 7$ a small serving, I expect much better service when spending 40$. I don't imagine this shop will be around for long.

Very good Ice cream, ice cream sandwiches are amazing, Milkshakes are also very good, and you will find candy from your past! It is a bit expensive but worth it on occasion! The staff is also very good!

This shop is fairly good. Love the marshmallows and popcorn but their candy mix "best sellers" seems more like the candies that are not selling rather than the most popular. Pretty disappointing.

Very cute candy store with lots of selection and some rare candies + sweets. We tried the ice cream but it was underwhelming. We had the cheesecake, bday cake, pistachio and salted caramel flavors but you really couldn’t taste the flavors much and it was very bland. Disappointed as it was 6$ a scoop and it was totally not worth it. Bulk candy is expensive too. Staff were very nice. They gave a skor fudge sample which was really tasty. Interior is very nice for cute photo ops.

Such a cute place. And yummy treats! We had the salted caramel sundae and hubby had the strawberry shake. Highly recommend. Happy we found this hidden gem!

I've been here twice so far. No complaints. They have a nice variety of different desserts. I have been getting the bubble gum ice cream. It is ok, not as good as the purdy one.

I had the vanilla chocolate soft serve here and it wasn’t very good. I’ve been craving and searching for this type of soft serve forever and it was a disappointment. It obviously come from a machine and tasted watery. Neither the chocolate or vanilla tasted very good. It also gave me a bad stomache after. Didn’t worth the price. I decided to try store bought hagendaz with a cone instead and it tasted way better and it was cheaper as well.

Very friendly service, reasonable prices and pretty good ice cream! It's just my personal preference that the servers wear a mask - took off a star because of that.

This place has the best chocolate cake I've had in Vancouver! I am obsessed and the cake pops are also really delicious!

Everything's wonderful until I bought a bag of chocolate-dipped honeycomb toffee.
I have no problem with the flavour but the packaging was simply hurtful. The candies here were packed into plastic bags with glass tape. Honeycomb toffee is weak against moisture and the bag I bought was not crunchy at all. It was a sad, soggy, sticky mess of tragedy. Get some air-tight bags please.

Great time to take kids to shop for some gummies and candies. They have a huge selection. It was nonpeak hour so we took our time (5pmish)

Great candy shop on central Main Street! Many custom made candies & chocolates you may be familiar with. Our favourites 'tool gummies' weren't available, so we had to settle for alternates. We got the smallest box of bulk candies, but found the gummies were much the same soft gummy texture for all of the ones we'd selected, unfortunately. We were wishing for some firmer selections in the mix, but no such option that day. Other fun treats include hand crafted ice cream sandwiches, freshly popped popcorn, a selection of chocolate coated rice crispy squares & dipped cookies, about 2 dozen ice cream flavours, a small rack of retro candies & a fair variety of lollipops or candy sticks. Worth a visit if you can get to the 'hood.

What’s not to love about this place. Friendly and helpful staff, always extremely clean. The sweet themselves are insanely good. My wife is obsessed with this place. If you every need to get out of the dog house just buy your wife a box of the hand picked candy and you’ll be good.

Its a dream come true for a kid, its a planet full of candy and icecream and Its so pretty.haven't seen a store like this ever. Actually I have, just one, it was in busch gardens, tampa, florida. My 6 Yr old can go here everyday and never get tired.

Definitely loved taking my son here he loved how you could pick a box and pay flat x amount not by weight, and could fill it up to the top with all their different types of candy! Also have to try their chocolate covered espresso beans they're amazing. Definitely coming again, check it out! Their staff are super friendly and the decore is definitely picture worthy.

Me and my friend got some ice cream and gelato here and we both loved it! They also have so much candy. The service was good because the staff were so friendly.

Cute place, didn’t see any unique ice cream flavours that piqued my interest so I went with the High Tea float (earl grey and rose lemonade with vanilla ice cream and raspberry coulis) and it served me well! Wanted to buy some gummies but prices seemed a bit steep, perhaps will go back and splurge one day

Following covid regulations to a T and the workers tonight were so sweet. Haha. The ice cream is so yummy too, I got the mint flake. Best mint chocolate chip ice cream everrrr. And cheap canddyy

Amazing selection of candy to choose from. They have so many candies ive never even seen before. They have a bunch of different pop tarts i never knew existed and some of the most amazing looking ice cream sandwiches. Totally worth checking out and grabbing a couple sweet treats. The staff are really friendly and extremely on the ball about covid protocols.

I’ve always been loyal to Soft Peaks but Yum Sweet Shop’s soft serve is AMAZING! I had the vanilla (the other flavour they currently had was caramel but I like to get everyone’s base vanilla flavour for fair comparison). It had the typical black specs of vanilla bean. It’s a sweeter, lighter and more flavourful version than Softpeaks’ soft serve, which is more about understated simplicity. They’re both the best in their categories IMO.

The ice cream was expensive, but big. I had it in the milk-chocolate dipped cone, which was almost equally delicious. I would recommend that you get a cup to go with your cone as it melts quickly - I had a bit of a drippy situation on my hands, literally, 10mins in.

I also got a Nutella Blondie, which was amazing.

When I lived in Vancouver, this store I often visited with my BF. I like the cookie sand ice cream from this shop! We are already back in Japan because of the coronavirus.but I hope to visit them again someday.:)

This place was amazing. Sure, the ice cream sandwich is expensive. But if you want a mouthgasm like no other you must eat it. Everyone was so satisfied. Amazing!

Super cutely decorated spacious place with excellent ice cream and lots of candy. Ice cream tasted really fresh and well-made - pistachio and salted caramel fudge were both really flavourful. A medium cup with two large scoops runs at about $7.50. Staff were super nice and service quick. There are park like benches outside for seating. Nice treat for a sunny day.

Delicious food! Everything here is expertly made and totally satisfies your sweet tooth. This place is like a dream come true for chocolate and candy obsessed children.

I would describe the Yum Sweet shop as a high end slow for candy. I sampled their selection of gummies. They were incredible soft and fresh. For each type I would agree that the quality was probably the best I've had.

But.

I struggle with whether the cost was worth the quality. Typically I consider an individual gummy as a 5 cent candy. A large box at Yum was $24. It contains a good number of pieces. I think it's a good value but can't be sure without counting how many I got. I just don't know clearly if I got a good deal or paid too much. Because of that I'm hesitant to pay that much again.

My favorite ice cream shop ever. But please bring back "wet paint". Bubble gum isn't the same. It has a weird after taste and I bought 3 tubs ️

Had my first YUM experience tonight and it was great. My boyfriend and I ordered ice cream cookie sandwiches for delivery after dinner - it was speedy and so delicious! Not to mention the cookies were WAY bigger than we anticipated. Can’t wait to head back in the store and scope out all the other goodies available!

Yum is one of my all time favorite candy shops in Vancouver! I love the feel of the store and they stock up on all the best candy (and have really clever names too). Also, my mom's favourite cake is carrot cake and she loooves the one they make at Yum. 10/10

This is a place with some wicked good treats!
I love the decor, location (close to home), ice cream flavours (yum!) and lovely Staff. It’s a go to place for our family every time we need a pick me up or just *because*.

Such an awesome place. They have so many treats. One of the workers took extra time to make sure we were comfortable and saw all the options they have. It was a great experience.

This place is actually the best! Probably one of my favorite Vancouver mini vacation finds.

The moment you walk in, it's like you just got teleported to a old school candy ice cream shop. It's spacious and bright and not super crowded and cramped like so many other candy shops. The staff were all super friendly and talkative and attentive.

The Yum Sweet Shop had a large variety of candy to choose from and they charge by the container, opposed to by weight. There was a everything from hard candy to gummies to taffy to cotton candy to toffee to different types of chocolate. There is a wonderful selection of hard ice cream to choose from, all of which can be turned into a milkshake. There are even the most delicious baked goods which can be eaten on their own or have been paired with ice cream for you, such as ice cream sandwiches, rice crispy squares dipped in chocolate and chocolate dipped twinkies.

Definitely a must visit on your next stop to Vancouver or, if you're a Vancouver native, a regular stop on your rolodex of dessert places for a sweet treat!

They're available on Skip The Dishes and Uber Eats but won't accept any orders my friends and I have made. Additionally they won't pick up their phone when the delivery service providers or we tried to reach them.

Ice cream delicious! Fun sundaes (particularly the pie crust and banana or the chocolate chip cookie, with your choice of ice creams)! And cool cones available. But the homemeade treats are over the top, making this place worth a revisit! Awesome peanut butter sandwich cookie, chocolate marshmallow cupcake, and more! Would come back anytime! Also, super friendly, helpful staff!
