5 stars for Dr. Hirji! He is my family doctor and he is absolutely incredible - kind, good listener, extremely knowledgeable, resourceful, patient and genuine. He has helped me in more ways than I can say (honestly changed my life) and it’s all because he takes the time to listen and has the knowledge to know what’s wrong and advise on what to do. Highly recommend!

I don't have a family doctor and I visit this clinic for my healthcare needs. I have booked multiple visits with both Dr. Leo and Dr. Hijri.

Apart from the common issues we face visiting a doctor almost anywhere in Canada, I have had a positive experience with the physician in this clinic.

Let me start by saying, I have a lot of health issues (including two auto-immune diseases), so having a GP that I connect with is very important to me. When my GP of 30 years retired, I was fortunate enough to be accepted as a patient by Dr. Leo. I didn't immediately connect with him during our first appointment, but I chalked this up to A.meeting someone new, and B.him being a male doctor as opposed to my old female GP. While I have seen MANY male doctors in my life and had zero issues or apprehension (ie.specialists, clinic doctors, etc.), I found Dr. Leo kind of dismissive. I have never experienced discomfort in my 5+ years of annual PAP tests, but my exam with Dr. Leo was very physically uncomfortable and awkward.

Additionally, he was very hard to book an appointment with as their office rarely answers the phone and their online booking system seems to be down at least 50% of the time I tried to use it. Once, when I was actually able to make an appointment, the receptionist told me the time for my phone appointment only to threaten me afterwards with a $150 "no-show" charge when I didn't answer the phone. I am VERY aware that doctors are frequently (if not always) running behind schedule, but I made it clear that I was only available during a certain time frame with an important work meeting to follow. When Dr. Leo called 20 min late (which I am sympathetic to and is not any fault of his own), I was simply unable to answer my phone -something that I had specifically warned the staff about but was assured wouldn't be an issue. Excuse me?

Needless to say, because of all this, I ended up seeing clinic doctors more often because they were easier to contact and see. To top it all off, one clinic doctor that I consistently visited expressed great concern with Dr. Leo's lack of attention to one of my auto-immune diseases. At this point, I knew I didn't want to continue coming to his office.

Overall, I do not think Dr. Leo is a bad doctor but definitely not for me. If you are someone who needs frequent appointments and patience, this man is probably not for you either.

Great pharmacy. The people are nice. But one of my most recent and worst experiences I've had with a doctor was with Dr. Jamil Hirji. Didn't seem like he cared at all or knew what he was prescribing when he gave me instructions. The other walk-in doctors I've met with were fine and seemed sympathetic. It's just sad because there already is a shortage of health care professionals in this industry, yet some of the ones you get to meet with, if you're in luck, don't seem to care about you. Wishing him the best.

I am not a patient of dr Leo but he has been the most caring dr in the case of my dear friend who is having memory problems. He has taken him as a patient and due to my friends memory problems, they are willing to communicate with me regarding appointments etc. I have no access to my friends medical information and yet they have been kind enough to use me as a go between without revealing any information regarding my friends health. I’m very impressed.

Great clinic, friendly staff and good doctors + pharmacy. The masks provided are appreciated. Limited parking around the area, you may need to park a block or two away.

Ryan Leo is the most useless and incompetent doctor. This clinic gives phone appointments for eye and stomach infections - how do they expect to look at symptoms and treat people is beyond me. The clinic is a joke! Ryan Leo tells me he can’t prescribe any medication for my stomach bug. Well, how would he on a phone call anyway - he basically just made money from my call and there was no resolution to my illness. The front desk staff is lazy and inefficient.

My experience with the doctor went well, but the unhealthy condition of the room was unacceptable for a Medical Clinic

Fabulous family practice that provides compassionate and attentive multi-disciplinary care; we are so lucky to have them in the neighbourhood.

This was my first in person appt with Dr Leo, after becoming his patient over a year ago. Everyone was friendly, professional, prompt and caring. Plus the Make An Appointment online system is super easy and glitch free.

Awful service, my experience here was terrible. I was late by 3 mins (due to traffic) and was refused service, while other appointments i always come early but end up waiting for several minutes.

Very bad experience. The expect us to wait for them 10-20 minutes but I was late by 3 minutes only and they did not attend us and said that they can not give shot to baby.

Recently moved back from Alberta, was looking for a family doctor. Was lucky to find this clinic, my doctor is professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate the respectful manner my concerns are addressed. Staff is very helpful, am very happy with this service.

I was a patient of Dr. Leo for several months after my doctor at a previous clinic retired. I have only praise for Doctor Leo and his staff. He was very available and attentive. I had no trouble getting an appointment and the wait times at his office, for treatment, were very short.
I left because a space opened up at my previous clinic, which was more convenient for me, travel wise.

This clinic is so responsive. I've never had a medical clinic reply to an email before, let alone within 8 hours!

WORST CLINIC, NOT WORTH YOUR TIME, YOU HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AFTERWARDS ANYWAY SINCE YOU NEVER GET THE INFORMATION YOU ACTUALLY NEED.

Since I moved to the area they have been my pharmacy and go to clinic, all of the staff is very kind and helpful like no other place.

My whole family is under the care of NP Amy Low, including my 6 month old daughter, whom she is great with. Amy is so kind and attentive at each visit. She takes time to listen to my concerns and offers great advice. I never feel like I'm being rushed out the door. I highly recommend her!

I had an earache and Dr. Leo and his staff found me an appointment within 2 days. I’m grateful they found me a spot to see the doctor when other clinics were fully booked. I live nearby and rely on this clinic very often. Their service is great and now Dr. Leo knows my medical history. He also has a good memory, unlike other doctors, so his assessments are quick and accurate when needed. Very happy with this place!

I consulted Dr. Hirji for a lab testing requisition, and felt as though he was dismissive and rushing me the whole time. I explained how I was not eating gluten as I think I may have celiac, and he proceeded to tell me that I actually was eating gluten as "rice has gluten in it". This is false, which I told him, and even looked up on the Mayo clinic website while we were talking, which confirmed I was right. Dr. Hirji continued insisting he was right and treating me as though I was stupid. I felt unheard, rushed, and dismissed by this doctor.

I have been here several different times, and have been able to meet with a few different doctors. They are always welcoming, informative, and helpful. Walk in wait time is minimal, and I have been able to book an appointment online easily.
