FOOD IS NOT HALAL. Lady was very rude and dismissive on the phone. I asked if the food was halal and she became very cold. Thus I would stay away from this place if you want halal food.

Our favorite Shawarma in New Westminster. Love that they offer tahini, it adds extra flavor! And pineapple topping too!

Food is great.sometimes. The service and quality is highly inconsistent here. I always get a large chicken wrap, but the amount of chicken varies greatly each time. Sometimes the wrap is bursting, and sometimes, like today, it's downright disappointing. Quite frankly, I don't care if I get friendly service. It gets so busy at this place that I can see how an employee would get frustrated and overwhelmed, but if the quality of the food suffers, then it's game over for me. The three stars are for when it's good, and two stars off for the inconsistency of product.

Pretty good falafel wrap, very tasty but I should have asked for extra sauce, it was a little dry.

Food is good but hours are consistently wrong. They regularly close a few hours before 9pm.

Used to be my favorite restaurant but not anymore. Service here is usually rushed, expensive for the portions you get, and they're being cheap with what they give you

I'm not sure who is the lady working on Friday evening (Sep 1) but she does not seem to be trained in food safety and hygiene. She has long nails which is not allowed when handing food. Also, she is constantly touching her hair and then touching food because her hair is styled behind her ear, it's falling out and she keeps putting it back behind her ear, as she is making wraps at the same time. She was also handing cash register. All of this was going for a while, and then she washed her hands once for 2 seconds, which is not long enough. I love this place and the food, but please send this employee to a food safety training.

Food is always fresh and made fast. Even though it was packed when ordering they still take their time to accommodate everyone. Their Falafel is also the best in BC.

The food is always fresh and the staff is courteous and really tries to make you comfortable and succeeds, the quantity is great and the sauces are to die for.

I would recommend:

Large Felafel Wrap with Onions, Pickles, Garlic sauce and Hot Sauce

Zaaki Platter with Sweet Sauce; Onions; Pickles and garlic sauce

Zaaki is become my go to place to grab great food.

Best donair place. Very generous with meat and vegetable inclusions that not a lot of places have. Workers are always nice. Really good dessert (always get basbousa)

Zaki is my go to lunch place. Their chicken, and hummus are scrumptious. I tried Shawarma at many places but could never get a taste even closer to theirs. Employees recognize their customers and serve with happiness. Shoutout to Zina, Sam and Reham and all the other employees who work hard and serve the best food in town.

Very friendly owners, very delicious food, always choosing them for the best Middle Eastern food.

Ate zaaki donairs 3 times this week hahah! I can't praise it enough! Had the mixed meat wrap, lamb and beef, and also tried the chicken Shawarma plate
If you like spicy food, have it with extra spicy sauce! The regular amount of sauce has a good kick too~~

I had it as take out, and also delivery on 2 other occasions

We had the falafel wrap - the regular size was perfect for a light dinner, the falafel was fresh out of the frier right in front of us, everything tasted fresh and delicious! It's the best falafel I've had outside of the Middle East!

Falafel wraps are huge and full of meat. Vegetables are crunchy and fresh. Beef and Lamb meat was super tender. The platter was good too. Everything was really good. Yummy

Been here several times already and always get chicken and beef wrap. Serving is generous, staff are friendly, price is competitive and of course, food is delicious!

There was a lineup out the door when we got here, and for good reason. They obviously know what they’re doing (the place was packed with regulars). Great value, delicious food and sauces, and I love their pickles.
