Zahra Salon and Medical Spa

My trip to Zahra was a bit of a thrill as I don't speak English very well. My excitement was instantly gone as soon as I walked into the salon and I was greeted in a friendly manner at the reception as if I was their regular and most valued customer. My hairdresser Karlen was great. She is a professional and a wonderful person. I am very happy with my haircut and recommend my hairdresser Karlen.

I’ve been to this salon for hair, nails, and waxing. I usually don’t write reviews, but in this case I want to help others know that this salon is NEXT LEVEL! The staff are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and all excellent at what they do. Yulia (who has cut and highlighted my hair twice now) is like no other stylist I have seen. She takes time to provide a proper and meticulous experience. I would highly recommend Zahra if you are searching for a new salon.

Amazing experience, I had a cut and color with the master hairstylist Asmaa, she is an extremely talented person, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, I highly to go to there.

Had a great haircut but was charged a "recycling" fee. I too feel empowered when I spend other peoples money.

Dropped in to purchase a bottle of Conditioner. The beautiful soul at the counter asked "how is your day going" and based on my response kept talking. She made my day. I will definitely be back and tell others. We need more people like that. Thankyou

Went in for a men’s haircut with Bailey. I was welcomed with a warm greeting from all of the staff in reception. Bailey was friendly and personable. She makes you feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Most importantly, she listened to my requests and as a result, I walked out with a great head of hair! Highly recommend Zahra and Bailey for a cut!

Madison is an excellent esthetician and I have been totally satisfied whenever I have services done here. Karlan in the salon has been a wonderful stylist. I have seen her for many years, and would definitely give Zahra Salon a 5 star rating!

If you are a big fan of wasting alot of money on watered down botox then this is the place! And I know for certain it's not my "antibodies" as the doctor admitted outright I wasn't the only patient it wasn't working on and I've had it done after no issues?

I went in for a signature pedicure with a 20 percent discount. I called first and was quoted a price for gel removal and gel color. When done price was higher than quoted and when I questioned it I was told that those are extras. Also when I got home I still had some old color on one toe. Very disappointed and will not go back. Lots of places in Kelowna to get a pedicure.

Had a haircut with Veronica today. She gives a very thorough healing scalp and neck massage. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Honestly it’s a beautiful salon, nice staff, but my pedicure experience was just not satisfactory. I left the salon wondering if I should cry or just let it go. But anyways my callouses are quite rough, and only about 30 seconds were spent on each foot for scrubbing. My feet honestly feel worse than they did yesterday morning, they look the same but just with a different colour. Lastly the paint job is wonky, it looks very messy and no effort was put into them.
I’m very displeased with the service and how much I fricking paid for it. Not worth it at all! I Will be going to another salon today to redo everything… just money down the drain

I recently went to another salon who claimed to be experts in bayalage. Unfortunately, they weren't and I was left disappointed. Assuming I was stuck with it since I was leaving for vacation in a few days. Fate must have stepped in as I was lucky enough to meet Asma and she was able to make an appointment for me the next day! This is the first time in a very long time that I walked out of a salon loving my hair. She nailed the bayalage technique! She was very thorough and wanted to be sure I loved it. She even curled it and really took the time to style it which I loved. 5 stars all the way! Can't wait for vacation now!

I had a very relaxing and rewarding experience with Veronica when she gave me a cut and color at the salon. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted as I was making a complete color change but Veronica took the time to show me options and was so patient and helpful with her own expertise and knowledge as to what would be best for me!
My experience with Veronica was a very enjoyable time feeling comfortable that the outcome would be great.and it was! Thank you very much for your time and care spent.not rushing me.and also spending time with me at the end to be sure I was happy with any care products I might want.
The salon itself is a wonderful setting with a very friendly and happy atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit!

Had a pedicure with Madison. The service was great. I had mentioned it was my birthday and I when I was leaving she gave me a little gift bag with Aveda shampoo, conditioner, treatment & a scrunchie, which I wasn’t expecting. So nice! They had a 20% off pedicure special, although I think I was charged the wrong price, it’s still a good deal either way! I messed up my polish and Madison fixed it for me the next day.

Josie gave me some beautiful highlights! She used her expertise to give me exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Josie!

My stylist was Veronica and she was fabulous! Now here's someone who knows hair inside and out.

I came out of my appointment with not just a great haircut, but also valuable information on how to take care of my hair- things like what kinds of silicone to avoid in my shampoo, how to do beachy waves on my new cut, etc. I also loved how she explained the effects and benefits of layers and framing. Her expertise helped me know what I wanted from my haircut so I'd be happier with it when I walked out.

In short, my hair hasn't felt this healthy in ages, and I'd trust her to cut my hair again any time. Two thumbs up!

Highly recommend Asmaa! Wonderful stylist, she's the first I've left very happy from in quite long time! She listens to what you want and puts a lot of quality and care into her work. I find with my long hair a lot of stylists tend to rush near the end as it's time consuming to work with, I didn't get that from her. She was very patient and didn't mind leaving the color longer to get it where I asked. The last few times at other salons I'd leave with it half done and get told my hair is just "resilient" to color change. Didn't have that problem here! Thanks again Asmaa, will be back and recommend Zahra to my friends!

Just want to put a shout out to my girl Ali who was my Esthetician at the zhara a salon and spa.
As a trained professional in the field, I must say it was one of the best experience I have had in a very long time.
Especially ending my beautiful weekend in the Okanogan.
I will definitely be coming back for many more services by her and would highly recommend everyone to give them a chance to show off there amazing skills and beautiful personalities as well.

Ever since moving to the Okanagan I have been going to Bailey for all of my hair needs. She is an excellent hair stylist and does an incredible job. I cant say enough about this place. I love the girls Josie and Bailey are terrific in the salon and Ally is the best in the spa. I had a issue with my feet caused by an infection last summer at a different spa and she has fixed the issue and made the pain in my toe go away I highly recommend her at Zahras spa!

Everything about this experience has been excellent. The ambiance and decor is so conducive to relaxation. The massage chairs are a bonus and add to the spa feel. And then the pedicure. My experience with my hair stylist Asma at Zahra Salon Spa was nothing short of being treated like a princess. Asma is extremely informative, she takes her time to understand and value what you’re looking for, she has a knack for great conversation, and she is graciously accommodating! Asmaa will explain thoroughly each step of the process, why it is important, tips and tricks to keeping healthy hair, and the science behind the madness. You really could not ask for a better stylist. As far as the atmosphere you are greeted with beautiful scents, your choice of tea coffee or even wine the ambiance is relaxing and There are all kinds of products to choose from.

Thank you Asma for really helping me keep my length and giving me the most beautiful color to have ever touched my hair. I’m beyond grateful for the experience and the laughs. I’ve reached a whole new level of confidence and it is all thanks to you! I’m also no longer scared to get my hair cut. Can’t wait to come in again!

Walked in to Zahra Salon and Spa this morning after confirming our appointment by phone, and we were immediately greeted by name at the door by an engaging receptionist. We waited less that two minutes and were introduced to our two estheticians, as I joined my wife for couple pedicures. Ali was exceptional! I have always gone to another spa, but this will now be the one and only. From the smiles radiating from behind the masks to her deliberate services, Ali was a true professional. My rough feet were quickly smoothed out and nails groomed, And then such a great foot massage (elsewhere it is very routine) as Ali took her time and knew how to relax my feet as I disappeared into a quiet state of comfort. The hot wax treatment at the end was totally unexpected and very much appreciated.
From the special vibrating and pivoting chairs that are so easy to get in and out of, to the cold drink, the hot towel and chocolate treat at the end, I felt very special. Thanks, Ali!

I had a gift certificate for a 60 minutes body massage, and ended up being asked to pay taxes. Unfortunately, experience felt impersonal tor me.
