Falafel was prepared and fried fresh to order. Spice and sauces were perfect. The hummus and fries were excellent too.

Very friendly staff and the food is soo good. The portions are great for the price. Clean restaurant I would definitely recommend you try this place out.

Zamzam is my absolute favourite restaurant! The menu offers a wide variety of options, but my personal favourite is the falafel wrap! The falafel here is nothing short of outstanding! Absolutely perfect! Crispy and mouthwatering! The staff are attentive, friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are more than happy to make recommendations and accommodate special dietary requests. I hope they open more branches across the lower mainland but until then I am more than happy to drive 50 min for that excellent and authentic falafel wrap!

My 2 sons want me to drive from Richmond to Vancouver (Zamzam) to buy Zamazing Box. Even though we have many shawerma restaurants in Richmond but they like only Zamzam. The food is really so tasty, staff are super friendly & the place's vibe is so positive.

Extremely friendly owner from Irak. Served extra amount of different things for us to try. Didn't want to accept tip until we had eaten there at least once to ensure we liked their food. Best hummus ever! Totally recommend it.

An amazing place to grab a quick shawarma. The quantity of the plate meal is sufficient for 1 person. The hummus is yummy and the falafels are delicious.

There is always a line to order, but the place is open till 10: 00. Prices are slightly on the higher end for middle Easter cuisine, but there is authenticity in the taste.

The service is quick, the servers are polite and friendly, and there is ample seating for groups of 4-5.

Salam from brother Omar Trevor…yesterday I came for prayer I arrived at sunset to MAC I forgot no sunset prayer break fast but a nice brother there before me forgot too was Monday. So he ask if I’d like food break fast together at Zamzam. Oh thank you. So nice of brother treat me to break fast. He had falafel and I had chicken wrap. Food was fantastic and made a new friend brother. Ma sha allah. Brother left I went finished my errands and return for night prayers so all work out fine. Happy end to over 5 years busy 5 years. What an incredible experience at Zamzam grill! We were visiting from out of town and Ameen is hands down the best host and the food matched plus beat all expectations. We got 2 chicken shawarma and 1 falafel wrap, they were juicy fresh and super tasty. Highly recommend this place and we will surely be back when visiting Vancouver. 5 stars without a doubt.

Learn to answer your phone so I don't have to go over there to get an answer to a simple question. I can literally see you ignoring it in an empty restaurant.

The chicken was perfectly cooked! I totally loved the Shawarma Plate which was loaded chicken and flavourful rice! It was out of the world. The portions were huge and satisfying.

Can't wait to visit them again to try their #tabbouleh and #zamazingbox!

There’s just not much to say. Cozy spot with amazing food and service. Portions are massive. Good chicken is sold here, come by and have a bite!

We waited longer than usual just because the frying machine was broken and the person in charge gave us the meal with DRINKS for free as a compensation. What a lad.

I came because his rate was High, we ordered chicken wrap and zamzming, but I surprised the chicken test lol likes old, also I saw them they put all what they have for meet in the fridge for next day, be careful!

Rude customer service, I asked to add fries to the chicken wrap and will pay for that and they said no we can't do it. You shouldn't call your self middle Easter restaurant if you don't know what are the authentic chicken wrap topping

Wow! The Lamb Shawarma Plate was AMAZING! Real slow cooked lamb on a bed of seasoned rice that you can tell was made with love. This is a hidden gem I can't believe I am just finding out about now. I will be back again very soon

Cheaper then the shawarma place I normally go. First time trying to due to rating but it feels like anyone reviewing a restaurant only looks at price and quantity. Cheapish food with lots of rice FTW.

Chicken and beef plates as take out orders. Maybe I got the leftover meats on a warm plate but they are dry and had a tiny bit of tahini sauce. At least cover it with sauce if you serve dry chicken and beef.

The lamb is a must try, better flavour than any other donair/shawarma. The rice get special mention too, very delicious.

Don’t recommend ordering the wrap because the way they wrap is not good.

The platter could do with less rice and more meat.

I’ve been going to this place over a year now and never been disappointed! Food is always tasty homemade hummus and friendly staff! Highly recommend

Good portions, priced well, chicken was moist and juicy and not chewy like other places. Hummus was tasty and a nice touch on salad dressing. One thing to improve, slightly heat up the pita before you bag it.

The food tastes amazing and everyone there is so incredibly hard working and focused on the customers.

I don't need an apology for the wait when your business is crazy busy and you're making a dozen wraps in front of me and more people coming in behind me.

This is my second time and I'll definitely be back for more.

This zamazing box is literally fire, so good. And the guys working we’re so friendly and fast. I’ll be coming back for sure. They make the falafels in house fro scratch too.

I was craving some Middle Eastern food and luckily this new eatery was nearby my old neighbourhood. Four friends decided to come eat a late lunch with me. We were all welcomed by the owners. First we all ordered our choices, paid and then seated. The owners were very friendly and provided us with amazing service. The portion were just right, not too little and not too overly big. I ordered a Loaded Chicken Shawarma and it was super delicious. I pretty much devoured it. The samosa and felafel were fried very nicely. Amazing appetizers. There were 4 tables and couple countertop single seatings near the front window. Everything was clean and relaxing. I had a great Sunday lunch with my friends there. Totally will recommend my families and friends to try!

I noticed this place today while heading in to work. Seems like they just opened. The manager and staff were all super nice. I had the falafel and chicken shawarma, its honestly the best I've had so far. The tahini sauce was soo good. Honestly the best shawarma shop around, I would totally recommend it!

BEST FALAFEL/SHAWARMA IN TOWN! You get quality and quantity, honestly the best bang for your buck. Great food coupled with great service and atmosphere. Everything is freshly prepared to perfection. My favourite is the zamzaming box, it’s basically crispy fries loaded with chicken! If you’re a big group I would recommend getting the tabouleh, hummus and falafel sides to complement your meals.

Food was delicious and filling, also pretty inexpensive. The staff here is beyond nice, even when someone saunters in right as they open. Definitely coming back when in the area. A great spot for a bite along Kingsway.

Not just your run of the mill shawarma place and you'll see that when you walk in the door. They take extra care to make their food right and special and they will accommodate special requests.

The lamb is real lamb and you don't see that often. The falafels are donut shaped so they cook evenly, also something you don't see often.

I will definitely come back here anytime I'm in the area.

I've had my share of Middle Eastern shawarma plates whilst working in the West End and Downtown Vancity. The flavours are familiar and I'm sad to say, most have gotten very pedestrian. I'm very happy to say that Zamzam Grill is not one of these places. I ordered the Chicken Plate ($11.99) and it was the best shawarma plate I've had in quite some time. The chicken was tender and a good mix of dark and white meat. The rice was so fluffy and the hummus was silky smooth. Combine this with a very friendly owner and a clean room and you have a winner! This is Ibrahim's (sp?) first restaurant and I wish him the best. Will return to try the homemade falafel. I love to support local independant businesses and Zamzam is off to a great start. Do drop by and give them a try!

This is fairly a new restaurant in Vancouver and thought to give it a try as recommended by friends. I orderd a chicken shawerma platter along with their crispy falafel.

Everything in my platter was deliciously yummy and freshly made (i.e. Rice, hummus, tabouli salad, tahini, greens, and garlic sauce). Make sure to dip every bite of your falafel in that magical tahini sauce. And of course don't forget to try their fluffy garlic sauce with your chicken shawerma, it's so yummy!

The owners are extremely friendly and offer outstanding service. However, my food took a bit longer than expected to get ready - which is totally fine with me as long as it is cooked and presented perfectly. I will be back very soon!

I was recommended by a friend to try this middle eastern restaurant! This place by far is among the top middle easterner restaurants in Vancouver! First of all, the Falafal is outstanding. It tastes exactly like the authentic ones we have back home. Second of all, the chicken shawerma plate is delicious and the taboleh salad and humus are amazing!

Just came from Toronto and had a hard time finding a shawarma place up the standerds I am used too until I ate here. Very tasty shawerma, friendly staff, very clean place and easy to reach.
