I would like to give 0 review if it’s possible for customers service and professional service moreover manager gabby is so rude she even doesn’t know how to speak with customer.

Me and my friend got perms from this place. The perms only stayed for 1 day after that our hair got straight. Firstly, she told us the price would be $150 for one person but after finishing she charged us $345 and $380. That’s so unprofessional. She is giving wrong prices and charging high amounts at the end, that even the customer can’t deny. Now we wanted refund from them and the manager is saying she will not give us refund. What the hell is that, we don’t get fair service. She is saying we can get perms again. But, why would we get them again with more chemicals, it will damage our hair. She is saying it happened because we got keratin treatment. But, Adam (from whom we got the service) we already told him before the service that we got keratin treatment 2 years ago, he told us it’s not the issue, we will get perfect perms because it was a long time ago.

Buyer be aware:

I shopped at Zennkai during a sale buy one get one 50% off. I was in rush and didn’t notice that they did not apply the discount. Since there is no refund policy I could only get store credit.

Wow, I wish I read the reviews before booking the metro location…
I had an appointment with a master hairstylist at the metro location on a Friday afternoon. The video reference I showed Adam was a bob, 2 layers pretty close in length and curtain bangs, sounds easy? Well, Adam decided to add some unwanted, short layers in front of my face that do not blend with the rest of the hair, which made me look like a throwback to the 90’s. When I mentioned that I do not like it this way, things got worse and my hair in the front got shorter. Then he proceeded to straighten my hair, which I specifically said not to as my video reference had rounded ends, I mentioned couple of times that I do not wear my hair straight with that type of hairstyle. As he was late to his next client, the styling of my hair was rushed and he quickly walked me to pay. I walked out angry, in tears. Sucks for me, I had an event to attend the next day. On Wed I called the salon and asked for the manager’s email to email her about my experience. No response. So here we are, stay away from this place!

I got my hairs done by them at the metrotown store months ago.it was the horrible and worst experience for me.

Arunee is just Awesome Apart from being a wonderful hair stylist she is a wonderful human being. It was my first time I got hair cut from this place and I loved my experience from front desk to Arunee everybody gave excellent customer service. I will be Arunee’s regular customer now Thanks Arunee

This salon has never done me wrong. Everytime I have come here I have gotten exactly what I wanted for a good price.
Last time I was here, maybe 7 months ago, I believe it was Adam that helped me (was that his name? I dont remember exactly)
He washed my hair before as I requested and it was like a heavenly scalp massage. So relaxing, like releasing my tensions through my head.
Then after, with just a couple words and a few vague gestures, he knew exactly what I wanted. When ever I leave this salon I always feel good about the result and everyone there is so friendly (but without the awkward small talk I've dealt with at other places)

For my most latest hair cut though, they weren't available for a walk in that day so I Unfortunately went to a different salon because I was impatient and didnt know when I would be able to have the time again. The other salon messed up my hair so bad to the point it made me cry more than once.
I regret that decision with every inch of my soul. I'm sorry I cheated on you, Zennkai. It will never happen again. You are my one and only hair salon.

Everyone working here is always so welcoming! The only place I trust to buy my hair products from and also with my haircuts/styling.

Poor service, rude staff, and even their online ordering is not customer friendly. Even after having a minimum of $50 they don't cover insurance and ask you to submit a ticket with Canada Post on your own for lost/misplaced packages. Terrible service. This is why companies like Amazon are winning.

I have been going to Tran for many years. She is amazing. Treats all her customers with respect and genuinely cares about them and not just a number

I had a hair cut and it was terrible!
The hairdresser cut more than I asked and it looks horrible and old fashion! She doesn’t even know how to cut layers.
I have a wedding in 2 weeks and I can’t go with this horrible hair.
Very disappointed.
I won’t come back.
