Meh. Mediocre fish with bland rice for 30$. It would be great if they knew that what makes fine dining is not the price but the food quality.

Food was really good and there was a very good amount. Got it to go. Server was nice. Ambience looked pretty good from the lobby area when I picked food up.

Zougla restaurant had quite fresh food, the quality was by far more than spectacular.
The server Shelby was prompt, courteous, respectful, and social. More than eager to please the customer. The restaurant had a very comfortable atmosphere. I rather enjoyed seeing some old-fashioned ways.
The bill was handwritten and, brought back memories.
The next time I am in the Nanaimo I would definitely enjoy going there again. Thanks keep up the good work and the fresh food.

Excellent food and service. We were a large party and the servers were friendly and attentive. A lovely place to go for lunch or dinner!

Amazing food and amazing service. Very intimate setting yet you don't feel squished together with other guests.

It was our first visit to Zouglas and we're glad we went.

Our server was fantastic. The food was excellent. And the place was bright and clean with a nice atmosphere.

Their Greek salad game was on point and I recommend trying the Salmon Oscar and the Calamari.

Great service, consistently good food. We had saganaki and a nice calamari dinner. Everything was very good and the service was the right balance between attentive and giving us space.

Good size portions and great service. Nice atmosphere. Food quality is good, my New York steak with oscar topping was cooked to a perfect medium rare.
Will definitely return!

The best place for dating. I recommended dessert tiramisu: Cream mixed with coffee and chocolate with wet sponge cake is very delicious and not too sweet. Good environment and service.

I have been here 3 times in the last month. Thats how good it is. The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is top notch! We had Shelby the first two times and Katherine today. Professional, but welcoming and always on time when you need them at your table. I will be back time and time again guaranteed.

Had a great experience dining in. Service was friendly, fast and efficient by our server Cat. Food came out quick and hot. Portion sizes are great and the food was amazing! I think the quality and freshness of the food reflects the prices. Will be back forsure!

Good mid-high end place. More affordable than Astaras and fancier than Alexandra. The waitresses need to be taught how not to forget about the customers in the booths. Had to get up and find someone to order and pay the bill.

Food was good, tasted fresh. Portions were modest for the price and pita was not included. Draught beer was flat. Server was very nice. 3 stars based on value.

Service was excellent but was impressed with my chicken breast, it was thin instead of pulp and juicy.

Beautiful place, we got take out and the food was amazing. Especially the Mediterranean flatbread, such a good appetizer after a day out in the mountains. Both the rice and potato options were good I’m told and the round bread was so so delicious, the tiny crispy shell with soft insides was to die for. I wouldn’t recommend the Mediterranean pasta, it was a bit too oily and the veggies lacked flavour outside of the feta. If thats what you like go ahead but I would’ve preferred the shrimp curry or salmon my other friends got. Other than that, everything else was great and the food is well priced and good portioned (coming from someone who eats a lot). We will definitely be coming again

I went there along with my friends and had an awesome time. I am not gonna say their food is outstanding but the people who work there are amazing.

We enjoyed this menu. A good selection and cooked perfectly. Wait staff is attentive but not intrusive. There were six of us and there were no complaints. We each ordered different entrees. We were here on a week night, so it was not too busy. We will come back.highly recommend this place

Zougla is a nice restaurant serving mostly Mediterranean style dishes. The portions are large. My absolute favorite was Mushroom Cups baked with the butter-garlic sauce and cheese. I wouldn't recommend the baby pork ribs with BBQ sauce. You can't taste anything but that sauce.

The staff is great - professional and polite.

The restaurant takes all the necessary measures to protect customers during COVID-19. The tables are arranged to ensure social distancing, cleaning is thorough.

Simply the hidden gem of nanaimo, having lived here all my life I feel almost robbed of what could easily be tradition. The feeling of being at home as well as higher class dining to the warm atmosphere and staff, could only be exceeded by the overly talented chef's working the kitchen to produce some of the best lamb I have ever tasted in my life! Making this one of the best dining experiences I have had on the island, if i could change anything about this decadent discovery i would say a little faster service but do to covid I can understand the delay and am looking forward to go back once things have calmed down to experience a more organic environment and that would be it, the standard set at this establishment far exceeds anything I have witnessed in nanaimo I hope you enjoy this as much as I have.

Had a fabulous and great tasting dinner with family. I would encourage anyone during these trying times to consider a chance to escape and be served a superb meal. All staff were great and our waitress was tops!

I've been dining here with my family for years, but recently moved to Vancouver. I came back to visit my family and went to Zougla with my friend. The food was phenomenal and the staff was kind and respectful. Will be coming back here again soon. Highly recommend.

Great food selections and service, sea-front location with a nice view, tho we didn't dine in. Price is on the higher end.

Me and my husband had a great service by Arielle, food was very good (mine could have a bit less tomato sauce on the chicken but it still was great), good portion, and it was a quite evening there so we had a pleasant time. It was a bit pricey compared to other options in town but overall it was a very good quality of food and great experience.

We treated ourselves for Valentine's Day. The food was excellent! Their baked potato was the best I have ever eaten. I had the Chicken Pacifica

The food is Greek inspired, so there are many Greek dishes, with a few west coast seafood dishes to round it out. There are vegetarian options. They also have an extensive wine and spirits menu which includes several Greek classics like Retsina. Background elevator music was initially fine but then really annoying after a while. Not sure why this was used but seemed pointless!

Awesome food, and super great atmosphere, always drove by and wondered, would recommend the stuffed mushroom caps, service was okay I think because it was busy some attention to detail lacked, but will be back for sure.

Absolutely delicious! Their signature bread is amazing, every item we've tried has been great - very tender chicken souvlaki, Greek meatballs were phenomenal and the rice/potatoes/Greek salad that come with your meal was so good! Their delivery as "Hella Greek" through skip the dishes is also amazing, food was just as good as in the restaurant.
