Says that courts aren’t bias? They sure are bias especially Macintosh and madam Justice Gerow gave my X shared custody after overwhelming evidence of abuse including from they’re Social Worker. She testified, “the mother hits the children in the head. ” 2 little girls suffered abuse for another 2 years. Finally a decent Judge…Judge Jenkins appointed the children their on lawyer…

I walked into Zukerman Law very broken and feeling defeated. My consultation with Shelly instantly put me at ease. She explained the law to me and what I should expect. My situation turned into a very high conflict case. I was quite dependent on Shelly at first as my feelings were constantly getting in the way. I bombarded her with emails and questions to which she always responded. The route we had to take was a complicated one and I don't think any other law group could have handled it as well as the team at Zukerman. Olivia, Shelly, Stuart and Meena were the best I could get. The end result was incredible! I can now just move on with my life the way it should be. I cannot thank them enough or give them enough stars! They changed my life. Thank you team.

I am writing this post for a friend with his permission. His experience with Stuart Zukerman at Zukerman Law was horrible.
Stuart Zukerman cares about your money not about you or your children.
He takes forever to respond, he works less than part time due to health issues and he lost every court hearing.
He will purposely drag out your proceedings for as long as he can in order to make more money.
He even bragged about how he was going to buy a new surround sound stereo system with the money he got from him. Words cannot fully describe the poor experience you will have from this law firm. The picture below describes it well though.
Heres what $600/hour gets you, sleeping on the job. Zukerman needs to retire.
My recommendation go somewhere else where there is a younger, keener lawyer at $200-$300 /hr range. You’ll save half your money and get way better service and maybe actually win something.

My team of Shelley Butler, Meena Babin and Olivia Babin were highly professional, compassionate and good humans assisting with my divorce. Options were well explained and the costs were reasonable. I have no hesitation recommending them.

Absolutely horrible firm my girlfriend has been going through a divorce over a year now and they took$10000 from her to do absolutely nothing she’s contacting them over and over and hasn’t got a call back they’re absolutely ignoring her, she’s waiting for her settlement, I’ve sat here and watched her cry over and over again it’s so unprofessional, never will use them in a hundred years, she wants a divorce and to move on with her life, remember you guys work for your clients so treat them with respect and keep them informed

I actually met few different lawyers before visiting Zuckerman’s. I still remember the day when I walked into this firm lost, insecure and had no clue what to expect from upcoming stressful legal proceeding. But when I met Tim Star- I actually felt he is genuine and not the one who will waste my money. His associate Alisha Walker was also very helpful. They literally took all the stress off my shoulder. Tim is very knowledgeable, genuine and I was amazed how he gave attention to every detail of my case. He advised me time to time what’s necessary to take step for or what is time or money waste task. They are unorganized, made costly mistakes and did not follow through with tasks as promised causing unnecessary delays in an already stressful process.

I hired Kris Kohler as my counsel in a very contentious and difficult family law case. I always felt my best interests were put first by Kris and the entire Zuckerman firm. Kris was knowledgeable, prompt in replying and willing to discuss strategy with me while remaining cognisant of the cost associated with legal representation. They were able to assist me greatly in coming to a settlement without proceeding to a costly trial. I would highly recommend the professional and valuable services of Zuckerman law and especially Kris Kohler. I will definitely be keeping his card for all my future divorce needs.

Incredibly helpful and valuable information was provided from the initial consultation onward until my case was resolved. I first met with Mr. Zukerman who not only answered all of my questions but also gave me lots of additional info that was very helpful. In order to reduce my fees, I was passed on to a junior associate Raman Dahia who did an excellent job for me. She took my ex to court and got me a restraining order and major financial support despite his being adamant that he wouldn't pay me a cent. She ten negotiated a terrific settlement for me saving me tens of thousands that would otherwise have been spent on a trial. The lawyers and staff were well organized, bright, informative and kept me appraised throughout my case. Great communications and my bill was in line with what was predicted before each step was taken. All my gratitude for a job well done!

I was so stressed out by the breakdown of my marriage. There were so many issues at stake my partner was keeping me from my kids, and was refusing to sell our family home and we had investment (rental properties) owned with my siblings in addition to savings, stocks & RRSPs.
At my very first meeting with Stuart Zukerman- he listened, explained the law & the process, and completely put me at ease. In order to reduce my legal fees he had one of his associates Kris Kohler take on my file and offered to provide his input and advice whenever needed.
Kris was focussed, organized and effective in moving my case forward. Mr. Kohler brought an application and got me equal parenting time with my children and got our home listed for sale over my partner’s objections. He then succeeded on a subsequent application to get me an advance of funds from the sale proceeds to secure legal fees. Before proceeding to what would have been a very expensive trial, Kris proposed mediation and negotiated a great settlement for me avoiding trial.

Terrible service, unorganized, not focused on my case, doesn't do what they say. Every little thing was like pulling teeth. When case was closed I received another clients personal court documents in my returned file! I had to contact that person to return their documents as Zukerman was not interested in picking them up. They told the other client they couldn't find them. Then I'm emailed another bill? I lost over one million dollars. Makes me sick when I hear their ads.

This law firm is very bad on Communication They past you off to a junior lawyer and do nothing to help your case and they will not call you back after repeated calls and emails was even send to the wrong court house then had to rush to Downtown Vancouver in rush hour to be a hour late I’ve spent thousands of dollars and have gotten nothing for it
Do not use this firm You will waste your money

Had to terminate my dealings with this firm due to a lack of communication and their junior lawyer failing to follow through on simple tasks he advised he was doing. Originally went with this firm as Meena Babin seemed very professional and friendly however once I was passed off to one of their junior lawyers I was left to feel like I was paying thousands to have someone write emails and fill in simple documents. After meeting with a new law firm I am also realizing that I received very poor and minimal advice on my case.

My family case was very very complicated and I was fighting for Physical abuse, Divorce, Finance and very important child custody from year 2013. My first counsel Johanna stein and my second counsel Sumit Ahuja literally damaged my case and because of that my case took so long and I drained all my money due to the lengthy case. My previous counsel Sumit Ahuja missed court date on March 2nd 2017, and after that I was lost, stressed out and was at the verge of break down…

During that time my friend referred me about the Zukerman Law Group. I meet Meena Babin and Tim P. Star to help out with a pretty Scary and very Complicated Family case. Was worried we would lose everything because of my previous counsel mistake and missed court date. From my first consultation till date, I was always well-informed and thoroughly explained every step.

I consider myself a very detail oriented person, sometimes pushing the boundaries on the patience of the person providing the details. I was very relieved and pleased when I found that Tim is not only very knowledgeable in the Family law but also welcomed any and all questions I had. Tim is very calm, patience, detail oriented and knowledgeable lawyer. After taking my case within a very short span of time Tim had resolved all the outstanding backlog finance and got the money from my Ex who was not providing me with any support for the child. Not only that Tim fought my 7 days long trial and he won the case. We got the verdict without my beyond expectation. He was also able to prove in court 5 years of physical violence which happened with me 5 years back.
Another person I want to THANK is Meena Babin who is a Paralegal to the Zukerman Firm but very compassionate, knowledgeable and always have an ear to listen your woes. She also helped me tremendously during my whole legal process.
