I am absolutely terrified of dentists but Dr. Armstrong's kindness and calmness always settles me so that I am not so scared. This has been super important for me over the years and I've not been lectured for not being regular with the eth cleaning etc.
The staff are always friendly and they treat you like a friend who has popped by for some dental work.
Kindness is so important and Great Slave Dental Clinic staff have that in abundance.

Dental hygienist, Rebecca Stam, did an excellent job of professional cleaning and taking x-rays. Recommend.

Good place. The dentist was patient with my daughter. The male dentist is my regular and he is very good at making everything look good. I almost fell asleep getting work done I was so relaxed.

I’ve been going to GSD dental for a few years now and Dr Armstrong has helped me so much. Having experienced major dental issues in my 20s and 30s as a result of some health issues I was embarrassed and anxious about seeing a new dentist. He has always been so kind and non judgmental. He and his staff have helped me more than they could possibly know. My oral health had been impacting my overall physical and mental health more than I realized - I can honestly say my many visits to Dr Armstrong have been life changing - he has improved my quality of life so much.

As with my past visits the Great Slave Dental team provided me professional and friendly efficient service today. Thanks to Dr. Armstrong and the team making successful dental service an event to look forward to.

This clinic has been good to me. The hygienists have always been great, but there are a few things that stop me from giving 5 stars. This review may be helpful to you if you are a public service employee under the PSHCP:

- expect $25 charge per fiscal year

- this covers you for up to 8 "SKU" of scaling, and each "SKU' equals 15mins.

So, if you happen to schedule 3 cleanings in one fiscal year, which I guess I did somehow, you'll hit 9 SKUs, 15 minutes over alloted time. Those 15mins cost me $80, so just be careful with scheduling cleanings.

Also, I don't know if this is totally true - but they may go heavy on the numbing agent here. I've never left a dentist with a Martin Scorsese way of talking as much as I did when seeing the dentist here. I also don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing (mans were feeling proper gangsta for an hour or two).

Anyways, good place overall, may not be the best.

I am always so impressed with how well GSD is with children. They are so gentle and calming, my son is excited to go to the dentist. We couldn’t be happier with this clinic.

My hygienist today was excellent, as usual. We have received top notch dental care from Dr. Armstrong and his team for over six years. No complaints. Just praise!

I called Great Slave Dental Clinic yesterday because I had lost a filling in one of my teeth. The receptionist booked me in for 10: 15 a.m. This morning. Dr. Armstrong replaced the filling. He was very friendly, professional & caring. All of the staff were very friendly, professional and efficient. I was very pleased with the service I received. Dr. Armstrong is an excellent dentist!

Had an early morning last minute schedule appt for my daughter. They assessed her and provided quick service.

Rosanna did great with my first hygiene with her. Professional and transparent with her approach in caring for her patients. Dr. Armstrong and his staff/team are exceptional.
