Atlantic Superstore

With the cost of groceries so high. It’s lovely to go into this store and every package of lettuce you pick up is rotten. 7 bags of romaine hearts all rotten. I will definitely be doing everything in my power not to get veggies their again

Top shelves completely overstocked - accident and lawsuit waiting to happen. Clearly staff aren’t concerned about safety. Glass jars, heavy cartons just waiting to fall on someone.

Clean store. Isles are tight in the freezer section. Noticing a lot of expired food being sold here, please check dates before purchasing.

I really like the feel and appearance of this store more than other grocery stores. It feels somewhat upscale.

Having been to a few superstores across Canada. This is by far the cleanest store. Love the eclectic selection. I live closer to other superstores but love to come out of my way for this one.

- Love the employees running at you at full speed to try to sell you a credit card, definitely not obnoxious
- Love the inconsistency of cashiers deciding whether to bag your groceries or not……. Just have the staff bag fully or don’t bother bagging at all maybe
- Also LOVE how you feel like you are quite literally entering a prison cell with the barricades at the entrance and self checkouts

Halal meat is not available all the time like other products, you need a lucky day to find some.otherwise, everything is good

Very poorly designed compared to other superstores and compared to sobeys. Layout is confusing/unclear and essential items are no where to be found. The layout of this store highly discourages spending money, and if you want to make sure not to buy too much it's perfect because you will not be able to find anything you want or need.

I just love the kindest staff here. They always go above and beyond to take care of everyone in need of help.

Amazing location, very clean and always full of stock! Lots of variety in the international isle as well!

I have been coming here specifically for Student Tuesdays but the staff said "it ended a month ago" (which would have been August) even though they've been honoring the 10% in points for weeks since August. Won't be coming again.

On a Saturday afternoon they have 1 lane open. I get that everything moves at a slower pace in Atlantic Canada, but this is amateur hour!

Really great location, super clean and staff are always helpful.

I do wish it had more of a pharmacy though. I went in for pretty basic painkillers to avoid going through the roundabouts to get to Lawton's/Sobeys, but ended up needing to go there anyway. I would be shopping exclusively at this location if they had the overall selection the Superstore in Bayers Lake did.

This new location is very open and well laid out, it is a more comfortable experience than some of the bigger sites.

Its location also means that it is less busy at peak times then bayers lake and Joe Howe.

Great customer service and very clean environment. Usually we are lost in a big store to find the right products within our budget. Elizabeth and Ryan you are wonderful! Thank you for your attention and care! You went above and beyond of my expectation!

I always go buy chicken, tenders, and wedges. All very good but they have the best macaroni and cheese I have ever had. Friendly and helpful staff always there to give you the best experience. Recommend to everybody!

Nice new store. A little on the smaller side, so some sections lack the size & selection of the larger superstores. Love the GT shopping carts with the upright handles! LOL

This store allows people to shop without a mask saying it is official policy to not require customers to use masks because they "aren't the police". I guess this means pants aren't required either.

Went on a Sunday morning and it was fairly quiet. Several staff were standing in doorways chatting. Only one cash was open and everyone resorted to self serve… right by the self serve is what I can only assume is the staff room. Four staff members stood in the door way laughing and talking and did not notice about three customers that all needed help. Once they were called out to help by customers, they went right back to socializing. Only to be met with about three more customers being denied assistance.

I love the great selection of groceries here. They had some good sales today. I get my water here (the big jug) the price is vg & there's 2 guys there that are awesome. They get the big jug, & help me put it in my car. I'm a Sr citizen & can't lift heavy stuff. Thanks to the guy where I pay for the water & the guy that gathers shopping carts. Your kindness is greatly appreciated

This is my favorite Superstore. The staff does a great job of maintaining the inventory, and there are often lots of products on 50% sale. They are also remarkably friendly. Much appreciated!

New store on Hogan Court, Bedford! Worst experience with ready made food purchase. Potato wedges were tough, chewie, and should never been sold. Threw most out! Packaged Caesar salad looked great but had to cut the lettuce with a fork, to eat. The core of lettuce was in the mix! No small dressing packets, so had to purchase full bottle. Friends had just moved into new apartment and needed quick meal. What a waste of money! The 1 star was for the toilet paper being on sale!

Disappointed in the new planogram and no pharmacy. No reason to come back I prefer one stop shopping

Great staff. It's a medium sized store, so it doesn't always have everything (either out of stock, or just don't seem to carry it). The size is both a blessing and a curse - the blessing is that it is easy to pop in to quickly get something without taking forever just to get to it. First world problems.

It is great to have this new store in our neighborhood. It is a bit smaller than others in the city. Very modern with all you need. They need to add a crosswalk on Hogan. The entire area is under construction so I'm sure it is in the plans.

Very clean, friendly staff, and fresh produce. The best part of this store was seeing all the local and 'Made in the Maritimes' products! I always felt this was lacking at Superstore locations so hopefully this is a something we'll see in more stores moving forward.

Asked for an order of onion rings. They were so overcook that could hardly chew them. So overcooked that the actual onion in each one was tried up totally. Could hardly tell there was an onion in it. POOR. Also bought taters and chicken pieces for supper. Hopefully they will not be like the onion rings.

It seems like every time I go to this store, there's an issue. I order groceries online and pick up (Covid), and I've received everything from expired chicken to a jar of mayo that expired in April (it's July).
I just went in and purchased chicken and taters for dinner and half of the taters were burnt.
The convenience of having a store close by isn't measuring up to the issues with this location

Much prefer this to Sobeys. Man, do they keep it cool! If you are overheating, drop by here to shop.)

Best customer experience of all grocery stores in Halifax. The manager was especially helpful with my blueberry purchase.
