Atlantic Superstore Barrington Street

Out of all Atlantic Superstores in halifax this is my favorite one, granted I've not been to the ones in Dartmouth. The reason being is just the variety of products offered as it does seem to offer nuch larger quantity of select products than the other stores I've been too. Yes, it may seem inconvenient to access due to its location at the far end of halifax near the port, but the 29 & 7A/B buses do access the area. If your don't fancy the bus there decent size parking lot and also a gas station in the same general location as the store. (Also its right next to the Marinetime Bus Station and also the Crusie Port for those out of towners)

I went to this superstore today. A south Asian cashier gave another south Asian customer a reusable bag without charging him.

End of story.
Superstore, please do something!

Atlantic superstore offers diverse products from all over the world. I find it reasonable in pricing and has offers going on always with PC optimum. They can get better with their produce quality and choices though. The bakery is really amazing here. They also provide a large section for appliances. The store is very easy to navigate. If you are looking for the common indian veggies, you can get french beans, okra, cabbage, cauliflower, eggplant and bitter guard. They don't keep Paneer (cottage cheese).
The checkout services and customer services are very helpful and hospitable.

We were on Emerald Princess and stumbled across this excellent supermarket. Everyone was super friendly.

Limited pharmacy hours (9am to 6pm). Minor over the counter items (ie.ginger, tums) locked up outside those hours.
