We were there on Sunday and bought 10lbs of chicken wings, expecting it to give us a few meals. We had some that night and they were good, but they were completely rancid the next day. We didn't bother taking our receipt at the time of purchase since we've had no previous issues with the quality of the meat and didn't expect any this time either. We have very little disposable income and we were very upset that 8lbs of these wings went into the compost. Definitely not fresh meat so make sure you inquire when purchasing chicken from them going forward. We sure will, if we'll even be back. Such a waste

My wife tried this place out as they are cheaper than Chaters in Dartmouth and the meat has better selections. She likes it more.

I recently discovered this meat shop that sells halal products, and I am very impressed with their quality and service. They have a variety of halal products, such as beef, lamb, and chicken, and they are all fresh and not frozen like those at large stores like Costco.

The price is a little bit higher than what you pay at the large box stores such as Costco or Walmart, but I think it is worth it for the freshness and taste. The meat is tender, juicy, and flavorful, and I can tell that they use good ingredients and follow the halal standards. They also have a clean store that is well-organized and hygienic.

The staffs are helpful and friendly. They can answer my questions and give me suggestions on which meat I should buy. They also have a section for Mediterranean grocery, where I can find items like olives, tahini, rose water, bread, and spices. It is very convenient and saves me time from going to another store.

This meat shop is my new favorite place for halal products. I enjoy their quality and service, and I support their business. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for fresh and delicious halal meat.

Glad I randomly stopped here - the guy that helped me was super friendly, and their prices are very fair. The quality of the prime rib steak I cooked last night was quite good for the price. 11.99/lb, I think it was (steak pictured was ~$13). I also grabbed a few pounds of fresh wings and some spices that they recommended for a dry rub - looking forward to trying those today.

Anyway - give these guys a shot, they might just become a routine stop on your grocery circuit.

I purchased 4 T-bone steaks here and put them in my freezer when I got home. I took them out to BBQ them a couple weeks later and they had a rancid smell to them. So I called baileys and told them the situation, he was rude and short with me saying next time I order steaks I can get them half price and I said that was unacceptable, he said I was being difficult and when you go to Sobeys they give you your money back. So I said yes they give all your money back I just want new steaks. I don’t think that’s unreasonable, any way I hung up the phone and threw the steaks in the green bin because why should I have to beg for good customer service, I will never shop at Baileys meat market on Bedford highway again!

Went to Bailey’s to get meat on June 12 at around 18: 30, and the guy working was so rude and arrogant towards us. He was showing no interest in helping customers. He didn’t even like us coming into the store, as we disturbed his time watching movies on his phone. It only takes one guy like this to ruin business. Hopefully someone responsible sees this and takes necessary actions.

Amazing selection of middle eastern grocery items, and a huge selection of different cuts of meat. The owner is friendly, and service is good.

This place is a hidden gem, they have very good meat, their prices are very fair. The old guy that works on the weekend is a character, provides me with some early day entertainment
