I just had the boiled dinner/ Jigs dinner and it was AMAZING. I'm a big eater and no way could I eat it all. You can certainly tell it's NOT the cooks first time making it because it was perfect. I'd definitely recommend! Oh yeah it was only like $16 too. I'll be getting it again SEVERAL TIMES!

My girl friends and are from Alberta and was told the this place had good music.we showed up and wanted a $5 cover.we didn't have cash and was than told their ATM WAS EMPTY.place was empty and turned us away over $5 and we were there to drink for the night.worse business choice ever.: happy to spend my money else whee.thank you to The old triangle for being decent and just that bit more intelligent business wise! Be sure to tell everyone else to stay clear of the ignorant and plain stupidity of this place.your staff was rude!

Had corned beef which was excellent but cabbage and turnips were not cooked enough but still fine

It was very quiet when we went around noon but there is large selection of beer and we had the appie platter, seems like they perfected Pub food. Service was excellent and everything was delicious.

We visited Monday night and the place was near empty. The food was nonetheless excellent, well prepared, attractive, and tasty. I had the lightly breaded haddock, with root veg, coleslaw, and Caesar subbing for the fries. My partner had the fish and chips followed by the cheesecake. All was very well prepared and are recommended. They also offered a wide selection of draft and bottled craft beers. This place is reportedly the place in Sidney to go for live music etc on weekends. Highly recommended and a place we would return to.

Fabulous place - the food was awesome, the selection of drinks was great and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back!

Small town tavern that does jazz every Friday night. Food is tasty and no one objects to us geezers sharing a plate. I'm glad the bartender at Black Diamond pub recommended Daniels.

We opted for the maple syrup glazed salmon with salad and the "special" house dressing with maple syrup. We couldn't have made a better decision. The food was unbelievably delicious and we will definitely come again.

Since there was a jazz performance we ate outside on the terrace. Both the salad with spinach and the salmon with maple syrup tasted good. Price-quality quite OK. Also good service.

Not the Daniels Im used to. What happened to the greek menu? Now its just a poor place to hear music. Acoustics in a small club arent good ppl. Last time i was there, so many ppl, im wondering if the fire marshall should be called? Theres nothing left on the menu that a woman with special dietary needs can eat. I tried a salad. HAIR.disgusting. Then the old lady server actually had the nerve to tell other staff members i put the hair there myself. Wow! I watched her treat another lady even worse! I was appalled! Not wasting another cent there.

Ordered the burger with cheese and bacon and it was fantastic! I asked for onion rings in place of fries and the server said it would be a dollar or 2 extra, but they charged $4 extra. That seems steep for a substitute.

After a terrible experience at a nearby pub we walked down to daniels and were VERY happy with our experience!
We had our drinks within 3 minutes of ordering them, and they were delicious!
We had our food within 15 mins of ordering, also delicious!
The staff did an amazing job and gave us awesome recommendations on drinks and food to try.
The live music was also great!
We were only in town for the weekend but if we ever return we will definitely be coming back to Daniels!

The food was good, the live music was good and the service was good! Very friendly, food seemed to be reasonably priced for most things. I would go back!
We had the mozzarella sticks, fries, ceaser salad and the creamy basil pesto penne. It could have been a little warmer but it was still good!
