Foodland - Annapolis Royal

Someone suggested going to Foodland for a slab of salmon. The meat manager let me know their shipment was coming later that day. They put some aside for me. Very grateful for that. The salmon was fresh not frozen and very delicious!
All of the staff I encountered were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely go back.

The only knock against Foodland vs. The Independent is when the power was out.they couldn't sell refrigerator stuff. Good selection for a small store and appreciate that they take Amex

You can find about anything in this grocery store. Lots of hard to find local products here that the big box stores don't carry. Great little grocery store.

My name is Tanya and I have worked for Sobeys Front end supervisor, Cash office file maintenance, cashier u name it ive done it. Now to my complaint, I do have couple complaints and I hate to complain but this stores prices are outrageous, and I don't go in mush anymore due to the prices and the prices are high in indeed I went in the other day needed few things went to grab a quick sub basic tiny sub with with nearly nothing on it price $5.49 go to independent next door get more for your money. I notice the prices being raised every time I'm in there. Also rain checks I don't get them I don't shop in there enough anymore to bother I spend $100's weekly but he won't get my money anymore. We live in a small community you would think they would try to help members of the community and he doesn't robs them blind. Another thing SALES items, very few get put out on shelves I've noticed this many times, I went in to buy an item I needed it was a Thursday and it was a sale item it was empty by friday now either someone is lazy OR they aren't ordering enough Dale products in because if they were they wouldn't be running out by the 2nd day of a week long sale. When you see these things happening in front of you on a regular basis, prices changing steady in that store. I've heard it from many others as well I can't and I REFUSE to give him anymore of my money why should I help him when he isn't helping the Community by doing this. So I rate it a #2 and the only reason that store is getting that rating is because cashiers all seem to be great. I had to write this its bothering me that bad.

With the restrictions of covid in place I've started shopping here. Small store but well layed out friendly staff clean store in going to continue to shop here once we are allowed to leave our zone

Best place in Annapolis Royal to shop. They even carry all your groceries to your car, and even load them up. Make sure you shop there and not the loblaws.

The only food market we could find in the town. Despite being refurbished at the time it had all we required to put together an evening meal and the following morning's breakfast.
