Great experience, and they made good accommodations for people with allergies. Service was quick for the children.

Had a good time at this location. Staff and food were great! Would be happy to return next time we are in the area.

Very disappointed with the food, i ordered 7 oz steak and came a very small chewy piece of meat that didn't worth the money i paid. The watermelon sangria was just juice, no alcohol at all even though the menu says " vodka+white wine" in it, i told the server about it and then the bartender came and offered a "new" sangria which had the same taste with the one i sent back. When i pay the bill the server asked if there was a problem with the service, I replied NO and with a rude manner she commented about the tip i left which made me angry. If the customers are not happy with the food/drinks they will not leave a good tip also asking every few minutes if everything is ok DO NOT make you a great server.

Aug 4 2023. We arrived at a quiet time to be greeted by 3 young girls at the front counter wearing black outfits. There were no hello or a smile when I said hello, how are you? One asked would you like the lounge our the dining room? I smiled & pointed to the dining room. One of the girls guided us to the dining room with a fast walk that increased with speed. We could not keep up without running. So I stopped & asked a server (Megan), "can we sit here at this booth? " Megan said yes. The girl realized we sat down & she removed the extra cutlery with bad attitude. I asked Megan for the manager. Manager arrived, I told her our experience. Manager she would speak to the girls. I call them girls because they acted like spoiled girls.
They need a great deal of training for customer service or be remove from dealing with the customers.
This negative experience will make me think twice to return. But Megan was fantastic.
As we were leaving one of the rude girl whisper to the other girls. I said to all 3 females, good night. The 2 rude girls said nothing, but the young blond that was not in black said "good night. " She was polite. So as I was leaving, I turned around to tell the rude girls in black clothes, "yes, I was the one that complained. "
Its too bad they hired 3 spoiled little brats to great the customers.: (

The food was great but there was a bug crawling in my lunch dates lettuce. Yuck. Mine was amazing and the peanut sauce for the lettuce wraps was phenomenal.

Service was great, food was tasty, and bottles of wine were half price (Wed drink special). I have to point out, though, that the floors are very slippery.

Of all the chain restaurants in the Bayers Lake area, this one I consider the best. It's got great food, service and atmosphere. It's a bit pricier than others, but that comes with increased quality. I'd say it's the place to go in the Bayers Lake area for something other than a sports bar or take out place.

Only ordered Nachos, they were fabulous. Early evening so can't say much. Would return to sample more if we were local.

I booked moxies, bayers lake for my boyfriends birthday meal. I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this place for a birthday. We like the food there, but the service can be bad. We were sat waiting for even a drink order for 15 minutes. A mixture of waitresses came to our table throughout our meal and there were miscommunications with what we had ordered (multiple check backs and visits to make drink orders in a row after a long time of waiting).
Our table became very crowded as they didn’t clear any drinks throughout or all the plates at the end. I wanted to speak to someone about it being my boyfriends birthday without him knowing, to order a surprise desert. However, our table was a booth by the cash/order station and so he would hear me asking a member of staff as that’s where they were stood. I went over to the mid-length, blonde haired girl who was at the host station (Sunday June 4th) most of the evening as she was clearing a table nearby. She couldn’t have been less helpful, she was moody and I felt like I had inconvenienced her by speaking to her. I tried to explain why I was speaking to her and not our server (I didn’t even know who our actual server was) and she just kept saying that I should ask whoever was looking after us, essentially it wasn’t her problem. She didn’t even relay a message to our server, so i just told them in front of the table that it was his birthday. The woman continued to let us know the choice of deserts and that it was complimentary. We ordered, had desert and the bill *finally* arrived, the desert was on our bill. $7. I wasn’t impressed with the experience and it was a shame it ended with awkward conversations surrounding what we were wrongfully billed.

The chicken pasta with garlic bread is divine. Bree was an excellent host. Food is a bit pricy but more than makes it up in quality, which is not always the case. Highly recommend this place!

Moxies is our "go to" restaurant in Halifax. In my opinion it's one of the best restaurants in Halifax.

They do not treat their customers equally; so make sure you are quality enough to be picked when you be here:)

Great location with lots of parking out front as it’s part of the Bayers Lake area. The atmosphere is classy, with booths for families to sit in and enjoy lunch and dinner. The service is was great, we were a large table and they did a great job at splitting us up and making sure everyone was well taken care of, truly great service. The food was delicious, they have plenty of options for various types of eaters. As a vegetarian the Beyond meat burger is my favourite. Lastly, if you go here you have to try the white chocolate brownie it is out of this world. Overall, very happy with atmosphere, staff and food!

Great food, great service. 6pm on a Friday night and we were seated within 10 min. Service was quick and everything tasted great! Thanks for the great night!
