What a beautiful narrow beach, pristine sand. 2 things stopped me from giving it 5: a) the parking lot is so bad, full of holes, and b) the toilets have no hand sanitizer, that's surely easy to fix. However the beach and the views are superb. There is a cafe over the road too (which doesn't appear on Google for some unknown reason)

Lovely afternoon on the beach. Ice cream shop across the street and fresh oysters at Emile's just 5 minutes down the road.

If you love to swim in the ocean without absolutely freezing, Any of the beaches in St. Margaret's Bay are about as good as you can find outside of the Northumberland Strait. Queensland is my personal favorite, and now that the highway is twinned to Boutilier's Point, it is quick to get to from Halifax. The beach is pretty narrow at high tide, so it is worth checking a tide chart to see when to go. The parking is sometimes a bit of a snarl, but there is a paid option across the road. Also across the road is a snack bar. The beach itself has change rooms and some pretty sketchy pit toilets.

It was 4° and beautiful. Watched a young woman swim as I sat wrapped up in a heavy sweater and hat and mitts. Magical!

This is a lovely little beach with great waves! There is a life guard present during the day too.

Lovely beach, easy to get to. If it's sunny arrive early so as you can get in the car park, though there are other parking spots up for grabs on the road side. The usual wood hut washrooms, take your own food and drink as I only saw a icecream shack. Good fun! Oh! And crazy busy on the weekends.

Queensland Beach is a Beautiful, but small sandy beach, about a half hour drive from Halifax. When the tide is high there is not much room between the water and the rocks, but at low tide it's plenty.
The water can be cold in the earlier months of summer but does warm up a bit. There is a good sized parking lot, It is dog friendly and has bathrooms/change rooms. It does get very packed most nice days during summer.

It's an absolutely lovely beach with two problems one the erosion oh by the entrance ways caused me to fall and hurt my knees, and secondly they need to put the fish and chip Shack back on the beach!

My son and I visited the beach on Sunday morning when nobody was around. It was enjoyable to experience an empty beach and let my 18mth old wander and explore the sands without it being crowded.

I find the view calming in the off season. Really like the gentle woosh of turning waves on the sand. Lots of great memories from years ago.

We love it. Lots of sand. Great beach just off road. Watch out for huge multiple pothole in parking lot.
