Price gouging! Much higher prices are on your website than in store and it shouldn’t be like that if at the end of the order you guys still charge service fee and 25% more than the cart total. This shows pure greed and you guys have no shame. This is horrible and despicable!

The Optimus card point system is a total scam.

I did everything the employees told me
I patiently waited in line for about half an hour,
I downloaded their app
I topped up my bill to over 200 dollars before tax as they asked
I called and waited half an hour on the phone

I got zero points instead of 80,000 because of a "technicality" with their ridiculous system.

Good quality grocery items. A bit expensive as compared to Walmart or no frills. Sufficient parking. Pretty have everything you need for groceries

Great store for anything you would like to shop for. If you have PC Optimum and PC financial cards, then it is a must go to store. Amazing offers, discounts, and rewards.

It's a drag seeing these signs at cash that say, "If your cashier doesn't ask you to donate, tell management for a free chocolate bar. " Just the worst.

The PC express here is suffering. They regularly only have one or two employees staffed which results in a constant back log of pick ups. I used to get a call every time my order was ready, now we only get it the odd time. Substitutions seem to be made carelessly at times.
We don’t trust them to pick produce or meats, if it wasn’t for the prepaid insider’s membership we probably wouldn’t bother doing this service at all anymore.

Very disappointed. Someone can’t sort items in their cart without having the self check out person coming up, invading personal space and accusing someone of stealing. I understand their perspective, but at least approach and handle the situation differently. There’s no need for immediate hostility when just moving milk from the top of the cart to the bottom (as in sorting heavier and lighter items)

I like this store. It is clean and the staff are helpful with finding items. I don't like that they now won't give back the $10 deposit on 18l water bottles. They had no stock of water and gave me coupons for the empty bottles. I had to buy water elsewhere and pay their deposit.

Very difficult to get around this store. Needs an expansion and less clutter of displays in the aisles.

Just left the store Sunday around 5: 30pm. The produce section was completely bare, not a pepper, raspberry, blackberry, or cucumber to be found and very slim pickings throughout the rest of the store. Very frustrating to shop here I find they run out of stock constantly.

This is not a food related review but last night I forgot my moms walker in the parking lot and realized it today. I’m am so grateful to the staff or customer that found it and returned it to customer service. I went to ask about it today and the girl at customer service was very kind and helpful. They had in the back and I was so relieved. God bless the staff and the customer that was there asking if I was alright and needed a hug (I was crying like a baby lol) Faith in humanity restored today thank you so much to everyone.

Posting one star because I’ve found and reported twice that their milk stock that was on shelf that was past expiry as well as their entire stock of cheese curds (was way past their expiry date). Consulted customer service about this and was basically ignored. Awesome.

Store offers food, but also banking and clothes. However, Walmart has better price than them or Sobeys

One stop shop. You get everything from food to groceries to clothing to electronic. Nicly stacked shelfs and friendly staff.

Unlike their main competitor across the highway, Elmsdale superstore has online ordering with curbside pickup and self checkouts which makes life so much easier. Plus I find them a little cheaper on most things.

Great location for shopping, wide range of stuff to select from. Prices are average, some are bit higher.

I had got there at 8: 00 p.m. The night before Thanksgiving. It was 7: 58 p.m. And there was a man at the door and getting ready to lock it. I explained that I only had to run in and get one thing, and I drove 30 km to get there. The gentleman at the door let me in to get it before they closed. Great service.

Good store, well lit and clean. They have good sales and the layout is pretty sensible and accessible.

I visited once and I think this is the most clean superstore in the area and prices are affordable too compared to loblaws locations.

5his store was not too busy at the time I went (mid day mid week). The staff was friendly and the store clean. The sale prices here are good and they have a wide variety of food items. The produce and meat departments are excellent. The prices of regular priced items are high compared to competitors.

Opens really late and closes pretty early. Prices are usually high. The store does not sell beer or liquor.

Coming to do groceries at 10 PM on a Sunday at the Real Canadian Superstore has to be one of the most cathartic experiences I have ever lived. The kale was sad tho. I could not find shrimp, only seafood medley. The carts lock on the locator, btw the movator is the elevator without stairs.

Always love going to superstore all the price matches that I can do saves me a lot of money. Staffs are really helpful always going out of their way to help you find what you have been looking for and giving advice on which ones they think is the best

Whoever made this place is evil. You would have to be the lowest of the low, the most horrible and malice-filled "human" ever to exist.

To give it a fair shake, I went twice. Parked underground, noticed the $1 rental for carts. Not uncommon, right?

I take one of these carts up the escalator (broken the second time I went, had to take the slow, grimy, tiny elevator instead), and the escalator has magnets for the carts.meaning that if somebody is trying to walk, you literally cannot move. The end is like a leap of faith that you don't faceplant while trying to hold onto your magnetized shopping cart.

The store is poorly laid out, all the raw meats are usually browned, especially if you go in the evenings like me, and frankly everything is overpriced for a store that charges a dollar for a shopping cart.

The kicker is that the staff are told to act like guard dogs over plastic bags. You're not even allowed to take your own, they have to specifically dispense them. They don't even fill them for you, they just toss them at your pile of groceries.

Overpriced, poor service, awful infrastructure. Streets around it are like a maze. Do not shop here. There are dozens of better options with friendlier staff and service.

Weird location.it's a puzzle in there.not everything is available.bread was not fresh at all.was looking for baby formula and non on the shelf and a sign to go to customer service.then I go to customer service and you got to sit there and explain the color the brand the size of the package for them to get it.and after all of that they only carry one at time.waste of time.definitely won't be going back to this location again

BUYERS BEWARE! The 5 star reviews here are very suspicious. Everytime you see a bad review it is very quickly followed by several 5 star reviews, many of which don't even have any comments. BUYERS BEWARE!

I went early morning to pick up subs for a day at the beach. The packaging was to bulky for my cooler with the amount of subs i was buying.

I asked Anne-Marie behind the meat counter if she could re-wrap the subs. She graciously took time out of her morning duties and wrapped my subs.

I highly recommend if passing by on the highway or shopping locally to stop in. Customer service second to none and they did not make you feel you'd made them go out of their way to help.

Thank you from the sun burned shopper who's delicious subs were a hit at the beach.

Clean and tidy store. Great selection of produce and stock, easy to find what we needed! A bit disappointed that aisle markers (one way direction) have been removed but that seems to be what most places are doing now. Self checkouts were quick and easy and we were on our way in minutes.

We stayed at our summer residence near Elmsdale Superstore for just over 3 months. During this time we used PC Express weekly. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond with options and suggestions. Pick up was always fast and easy! Thank you for a great experience! Nice location. Clean. The second floor location is a bit of pain for outdoors and patio etc stuff.

Large, clean grocery store. I like it because it's open late, has decent prices and also a housewares section and Joe Fresh.
The only downside is right now driving there with all the construction on Eglinton can sometimes be a pain.

I got the bad experience with the ball head guy. I think he is manager something. He was rude, raise voice, tell the customer to shut off and if i dont he will kick me out of this store. Anyway not recommend to anyone to this store. Due to i am young and asian. (u lucky that u not met me outside of this store:)

Baskets are IMPOSSIBLE to find. You'd expect them to be by the entrance, nope, they're hidden from shoppers. If you're lucky you might find a basket near the exit. I've complained about this twice, nothing gets done about it. Last night I walked in and started scouting every checkout line for one basket before going to customer service and requesting they find one for me. They looked at me like I was an alien. PUT BASKETS NEAR THE ENTRANCE, it's not that difficult y'all. Anyways 2 star because it gets my blood bubbling. I try hard to avoid shopping here.

I made an online order for a pickup at Don Mill Superstore on 21June. Before I went there, I received a phone call from the store shopper who told me that the items on my order were out of stock and I asked her if there were something similar and she said no. Then she said, “Shall I cancel this order for you? ” If there was no stock, of course this order had to be cancelled. Otherwise, what else could be done! On the next day, there was a charge from PC express of $11.30 on my Visa account. I called PC express customer service and was told that it was the cancellation fee for my order. That’s ridiculous. I didn’t initiate the cancellation, it was cancelled because Superstore didn’t have the items for me to pickup. Of course I have asked for a refund and is now waiting for PC Express to reply. I think PC Express should rectify this error in their system for it doesn’t make sense to charge your customer a cancellation fee when the store fails to deliver the items due to out of stock. Still waiting for PC Express for reply on the refund.

You go to cupboard it's empty.you go to the store to stock up.
Usually well laid out and stocked. Though they do move stuff around some times. Plan accordingly you can get in and out quickly, and usually with everything on your list + well you know the extras you didn't know you needed till you walked down the wrong isle. Be sure to get a treat for your significant other aswell. It shows your thoughtful.

Store is large and has a decent layout. The meat department doesn't seem to handle it properly and keep it at the right temperatures it will go off well before the expiry date written on the packaging.

We tend to get staples here since they are well priced and meat from Longos since its way better quality.

Their curbside team does good work.

High quality products. Went for their Rosemary focaccia bread, cheese varieties and other baked goods

It's very large so there's a good selection of many products. Sadly I get a better selection of diet drinks at my favorite No Frills store.

HORRID customer service. Non existent in fact! Really gonevdownhill lately with rising prices and bad service. Out of stock on flyer items. Almost ready to switch to Sobeys despite its smaller store in my area.

Nice and big store only issue is lack of inventory sometimes and not friendly staff, most of the time kids work there which clearly they are not aware of products and info about isle, hope there is some change

Customer service is great, clean store, fresh produce. I find there's not much for healthy bread or I couldn't locate it. The clothing section needs help from the Truro store.

In store shopping at the 825 Don Mills Road location would be great if not for the long and slow moving lines for the cashier. Have witnessed this on every occasion that I was there in recent weeks. Almost missed an appointment due to waiting in line. A very frustrating experience.

Its difficult to find Indian Burritos everytime I try find any never in stock other than that, it's all good. Their salmon steaks are delicious, waiting for them to go on sale 50% off was amazing! Taste the same as the fresh salmon caught in Newfoubdland I highly recommend them!

No issues store very clean, Lot if carts cleaned and ready to go. They had someone collecting the carts and another person cleaning them as they were brought back to the front doors.

Tired of this so called grocery store still closing early at 9pm. Their closing time at 10pm pre Covid19 was early enough. I am an essential worker who works long day shifts at a Halifax hospital. This store isn't open when I leave for work in the mornings and I barely get there at night to do my shopping and they are closing. I like to shop local but not anymore!

Watch you prices here. Lots of pricing errors. From my experience never in my favour. Limit you order size and watch your recept. They screw up all the time.

We're in the midst of COVID but in spite of that it was a good shopping day. Things are set up good sand people kept their distance.

Easy to get around in the store. Cashier was quick and friendly. The customer service associate pointed me to the cash to go to very fast. Didn't have to stand around for service at the deli counter. Excellent service all the way around.

Very clean and organized, I love their fruit/veg and meat sections. Always something different or original in the freezer sections like seafood lasagna and poutine cheese sticks.

If your looking for non Canadian foods this is a good stop. Most places in the city are just about always sold out.

Wont be back, my daughter and her friend were asked to leave the store last night after being inside for a total of 5min.they stopped in to say hi to a friend that works there and a man that works there approached and told them if they weren't buying anything they had to leave, said they had alot of sticky fingers in the store lately so basically saying they are thieves too.nope these girls are good kids and didnt deserve that treatment.unacceptable

Although I like the store layout, I'm getting very frustrated with the continual dropping of brand names in favour of the house brand.

The chicken salad sandwich from the meals to go section was the last sandwich I will ever buy there.bread was dried out and the chicken was pureed slop.

It is important to have a fully stocked grocery store in Chatham. Many fixed income individuals such as seniors can not easily travel to Newcastle or Douglastown for groceries.

They have the "best quality" fruit and vegetables!
But, not a good selection of meats.

Thanks to trudeau they have a brand new set of fridges to keep your ice cream icy, no PC points earned on your tax dollars spent.

My favourite Superstore in the city! Tons of parking, bonus wine and beer shops make it convenient for a one stop shop. The produce, bakery and deli department are terrific. Also a big fan of the Joe section, always great options for kids clothes!

Favourite Grocery store for weekly trips. Easy to price match. 5 stars if the washrooms were in better shape

As a pedestrian this location is hard to access due to massive construction in the front. More signs are needed to guide people in.

I do not blame any store for expensive items but most people try to buy the reasonable one. Because everybody is not born with silver spoon in his mouth. That's why he thinks of the budget he has. So for grocery it maybe the good option to select it. I cannot recommend for utensils. It does have very clean and good environment in the store. It is not far away from the residence.

Don't let the construction around the area intimidate you into going here. Free parking, great prices on items, fruits and veggies are not the freshest at times so might want to look elsewhere. Everything else is fine

Definitely A1 quality. But that means you get what you pay for. Very pricey.

Also, the store is huge and you have to take the elevator or a ramp to get into the store. Make sure you take a cart

Its a little more pricey them some places but I like the large selection of flowers and the fact that it has a wine rack, beer store, dry cleaners and convenience store. Its a real one stop shop.

This is our go to location for groceries now! The store is actually amazing there is plenty of space to maneuver around. The lay out is of this store is key. The staff is friendly and dont get all upset when you ask for assistance! And the fact that you can pretty much buy anything here is a huge plus! And it's not walmart:)!

Great stuff, huge selection but some things tend to be pricier than other grocers. Overall I frequently visit. It includes extra mini stores within it as well. Cell home store, clothing store, wine rack, beer store, lotto store etc. Its definitely more than it seems from the outside

The fruits and vegetables are never fresh, they also never carry red onions or tomatoes. Never have whole wheat bagels and the staff here don't like to help what so ever, typical answer what ever is there is there.

It's crazy the amount of cashier's keep going down. Recent visit had only one cashier and self check out Lanes open. Till one frantic customers had enough and had to cause a scene to get more cashier's.

It is a nice location that satisfies most of my family needs even on the weekends. The free, covered parking is very convenient in rainy or snowy days. The late working hours is really helpful. They accept pc optimum and they carry pc brand which I like the quality most of the time.
