Sobeys Greenwood

Store is clean well staffed but shopping for groceries is way too expensive. SOEBYS LIKE Loblaws must cut their profits and get their investors to stop demanding that we pay way more than their food is worth.

Wasn't really looking for anything, kinda just wandering. Found some great deals and awesome staff, thanks for all your help Alexis. Will definitely be back again.

We got groceries today and the manager (unfortunately didn't catch his name) was very attentive to wait times of customers. They had a surge of people checking out and he addressed this by adding cashiers and directing people to checkouts to optimize waiting times. He continued to oversee the lines. My family, starting with my mom, have shopped with Sobeys for 50 plus years. I have moved around and shopped at quite a few sobeys and have not seen service like this in 20 years. I thanked him today and I wanted to let Sobeys in general aware of how critical leadership like this is.

Large selection but high prices, if they had more competitive pricing it would be the best grocery store in town.

Most of the staff is friendly & helpful if you're looking for/asking about something.
The store is pretty clean. Prices are about the same as anywhere else.
If you're going in for a sale item, Arrive early, the day of the sale or they will be sold out.
Often times there are only 2 cashiers & no Express or fast cashier opened so waiting in line can at times be a long wait.
It's been difficult to find good cuts of beef steaks at times & we find the seafood department is limited in variety of fresh seafood options. Overall, for the Kingston/Greenwood area it's a good grocery store with the pharmacy right inside the store which can be very convenient.

Sobeys prices are getting better as prices during covid have started to rise. Their prices have not risen as much as the competition.

Great customer service friendly corporate wise must by 2 to get a deal no one likes that to be honest and its strange or strategic but if u go in you have to gi out through a checkout.no matter what

I went in and the produce manager went from angry to happy after dealing with one of her co workers, she then treated me like a child the entire time with a condescending tone and even scoffed at me when I asked if I have to pay for bags, like its a normal question everywhere usally does it, I then overheard her berating a co worker with insults for being a few minutes late threatning timetheft and the worker was obviously getting uncomfortable itd be great if things like that were delt with in the office or backroom and itd be great if it was delt with in a manner that didnt attack the person directly and put them on the verg of tears, all in all the staff was great but the produce manager seemed pretty horriable to be honest

They seem to keep their employees ten minutes late every day. It doesn't sound like a lot, but ten minutes times five days a week equals one hour unpaid overtime, and four hours of unpaid wages a month ;)

Good grocery store, but their produce section is less than stellar. I normally shop at a much smaller store and they have a much better selection of fruits and vegetables

I love Sobeys they are always so nice to me when I go there an if you need help with something they are right there to help you

Great store, hard to find anyone working in the store, other than cashiers. Management is very attentive when available.
