Another liquor store selling overpriced alcohol to desperate Canadians. Be nice if the licenses were handed out to independent retailers.

Very good place with nice people serving you good cuality food has a lot of variations of things.

I don't do all my grocery shopping at Sobeys but find they have a good selection. I like their store brands and the specials. Store is clean and well laid out. The employees are always helpful when I need help when looking for a specific product or have questions. Prices can be high for some things and this has been for a number of years.

Was good as usual no complaints when I go to this sobeys. Got a good deal on toilet paper today 14.99 for 30=100 roll

Awesome experience as usual! Staff is always warm and helpful. Seafood Manager and Jason are some of the most amazing retail staff I get the joy to see every grocery day. Thanks Sobeys for hiring such amazing employees ️

Staff is usually very pleasant at this store. Today was an exception. The cashier at the #10 'speed' aisle was carrying on a conversation
with the cashier next to her and didn't stop when I put my items on the counter. I said 'Hello'. Not a word.when she was done ringing up my 3 items.didn't ask if I needed a bag.didn't ask if I had airmiles.and seemed quite put out when she had to reach for the scanner after I took out my airmiles card. Still not a word.turned her back as I paid with my card and took my items.
I just thought it was extremely poor customer service.
I also work for Sobeys and I just thought it was not a good look for us.

Absolutely detested the area but it's a liquor store. It has liquor. If you need liquor. It's a liquor store.

Great place to get water. And Rock Star. Kudos to the two guys on the floor who went OUT OF THEIR WAY to help an old short guy out. It was the kast one on the rack, hidden from view bc it was on the rop shelf. Score one for an old short guy.

This place is very clean. Everyone there is very friendly and very helpful. They take the time to help you find whatever you are looking for

I have always been pleased with the friendliness and service at the Spryfield Sobeys store. Today, I was experiencing issues with the on-line airmiles app, and the manager, Kim, went above and beyond to help rectify the problem.

In general, I have always found the store to be clean and well-stocked, and they fully "stepped up to the plate" during the pandemic.

Like a dumdum I lost my bank card in this Sobeys location. I'm writing this review in gratitude to the staff there. The staff were friendly, courteous, and best of all, super efficient in getting my card back. Thank you Jill and the other young girl. You guys saved me from an afternoon headache, and that means the world to a busy mom.

One of the staff members there gives a great bj but she cant talk and keep her eyes open at same time but heads highly recommended

Very nice store; clean and organized. Everything is more expensive than other grocery stores! I won't go there again due to unreasonable prices

Only 2 stars because of deceptive practices common to many Sobey's stores. Maybe it is Sobey's chain policy, but I've also noticed it at Superstore. The problem? The store often sells inedible produce at sale prices without it being obvious from appearance that the produce is defective. Example #1: bought nice looking bartlett pears but they won't ripen… after a week at room temperature they are still hard and sour. Example #2: apples sold at a sale price… look good from the outside and firm to touch, but going bad on the inside. This has happened numerous times and always with produce that is on sale but not listed in the flyer. Stuff on sale in the flyer seems to be ok. So… buyer beware! Sometimes I return items but that is not possible with COVID-19 "no returns" restrictions nowadays.

Today I was directed to "provide your bag if you want it filled". My reusable under the shopping places on it so had to retrieve it. I actually had to bag the items myself. No please or thank you used in the transaction. The cashier couldn't wait to get back to using her phone. The customer service in this store is horrendous.

Its a Sobeys, overpriced courtesy of canadas billionaire Sobey family, our food supply is controlled by a handful of big players who drive up the price of food everyday

Supermarché avec plein de choix, pâtisserie, poissonnerie, boucherie. Bouchers prêts à refaire des paquets en fonction de poids demandé par clients. Parking a toujours de places disponibles.

Love this place despite the higher prices. Fantastic selection and service. My only gripe is that the payphone should be nearer the exit.

I get a cookie every time I go there. Except the one time I didn't cuz' I didn't want one. Otherwise, its my favorite store! Next to Wal-Mart:)

Smaller NSLC, but has what you're looking for, that is unless it's a specialty item. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always close if you have a question or need a recommendation.
Thankfully this location DOES NOT sell cannabis, so no worries about the stench when you walk in the door.
Only downside is parking, there are 5 spots (only 1 is a handicapped parking space) outside the entrance/exit, the rest is technically Sobeys parking lot, so be prepared to walk a bit to your car, and be careful not to drop the alcohol!

Average mid sized grocery store with attached liquor store. Produce reasonably fresh and selection as expected. More costly but less depressing than the No Frills around the corner.

They have most everything you need in a pinch, but some things are hard to come by. For some strange reason, shredded cheese always seems to be in scarce supply or sold out.
