Sobeys Wyse Rd

Was extremely racially profile by an elderly employee there. I went to do my check out and I had a few bags with me from a other store.there was several persons there with other bags from various stores. But that employee demanded to see in my bags.there is no signs affixed that cmr are not allowed to enter with bags and if they do they will be subject to check. I was single out because of my race and was told yes it was because I am of different ethnicity that's why. The employees was very blunt and rude in there racial profile against me. Sobeys is my local store but I won't be going there anymore. I was also told by the employees they don't care and its because of my ethnicity that's my I had that experience of Racial Profiling. I have shop at others store before and enter those stores with bag from other store and was never asked to check my bags. I had my recept from the other stores also. But Sobeys is worst store ever no customer service, very unprofessional and they made that clear by admitting in to me. I would never advised other people from different race to go at Sobeys on Wyse Road because they will be automatically seen as a theif by the employees there especially the elderly lady at the self check out. I would not recommend to anyone. Other stores such as Walmart sell same products and as better customer and Walmart do not Racial Profile people.

Do NOT recommend! Their Vileda Fibrocontact mop is 37.99 before taxes! Superstore, Walmart, Canadian Tire all are between 19-22 dollars! I called Customer care! They do not care! Below is Sobeys Price as of Today and Superstore price

Great shopping experience but they really have to hire security and have them present and watching near entrances all day. I watched a lady come up to the hot food counter today 12 ish order several items and put them in her Good Life duffel bag. She then went to self checkout and walk out without paying.

A nice one stop shop for all your groceries and household items.
But the prices are high

I personally find Sobeys to be a bit expensive. However, I can't say that I have had a bad experience at this Sobeys when it comes to customer service or product.

Bone in pork rib roast was a pork roast with ribs tied on top. Butchers need to learn how to cut meat. Consistently disappointed with the cuts of meat at Sobeys

Support local butcher shops and people who know what they are selling.

Other then that, I can find all essential cooking needs.

How the hell do you run a ready to eat business out of your Deli and have nothing to sell at 6 p.m. On a Friday and why do I have to stand there for 10 minutes while employees actively ignore me while trying to look busy because they know they haven't done their jobs and have nothing to sell. Absolutely worst customer service obviously run by people who do not care about their jobs

Shelves are often empty.staff friendly but they do not carry a lot of products they use to but I feel the store is fading

This was a busy night and all the stores ran out of products due to the Hurricane that is on the way to hitting us. No water no bread and no batteries. However this was not their fault. The entire city is short. This is a nice store. Only complaints is they DO NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE desk. So no one to go to ask questions. Cashier does her best. However they are not aware of stock and answers to a wide range of interest from the clients.

Cranky staff prices aren't listed on alot of items and the prices alot. The staff cant seem to figure out where to properly put stuff.

The store was nice. The product on sale was stocked so I didn't have to go disappointed about not getting the price I was looking for.
The staff were really kind. One lady in the fresh produce section checked a product for me so I could verify it was on sale, cause some of the sales tags weren't put out.
The cashier at check-out was really great too! I like this location, and the staff.

I don't know what's going on with this Sobeys. The meat is often way past it's prime, they are frequently out of bananas, went the other day and there were no avocados or limes. As far as grocery stores go, this one is just bottom tier.

My local grocery store- great staff. Very clean and orgnized, always stocked well- if they ever dont have something they can always tell us when it will be in.

Nice looking store but usually the produce looks like it came off the Ship Hector. I’ve brought it to the managers attention multiple times but they don’t seem to care. The head cashier Bernice is just wonderful she’s totally wasted here.

900g cheese whiz almost 8 bucks hungry man frozen dinners over 5 bucks. Cheese whiz at Walmart just over 4 bucks hungry man frozen dinners at Walmart 2.97 each. Why the heck is it that much Moor? I walked out! Would rather keep more of my hand earned money in my pocket and shop at a place that treats thair customers fairly.just my opinion.

I live in Halifax and I can't believe the price difference between Dartmouth North End and Hali north end. Hali all the way!

The store was clean. The staff were courteous. However, the checkout time was ridiculously long. More checkouts need to be open when this Sobeys is busy.

This store is so clean and the staff are very friendly and so helpful. I love shopping here. A real nice store. Thank you Sobeys.
