Ace Pools

We have had Ace provide snow removal services for the past two years. We were very satisfied and we have signed up for a third winter season. We also had them take care of our lawn mowing and trimming this summer and they exceeded our expectations. The use of rechargeable lawn care equipment was a very pleasant surprise.

I have used pool services from so many companies over the past.
ACE did my pool closing today, I have never got such a service from any other company. Excellent people and very professional.
I also use their snow removal services.
I challenge no other company can do work like ACE.

We very recently had our pool done by Ace and I will highly recommend them to others. We had some by law issues with our project in the beginning but the Ace team especially Jim were very helpful during the stressful process with any questions we had. Once things got rolling Jason and his team got things done on time, we are satisfied with the finished product, the backyard looks amazing! Job well done start to finish. We won't be able to get a swim in this year but looking forward to next summer. Cheers

This is our first year using Ace for our pool closing. Andrew and team were responsive to our questions and the closing was done on time and well. Looking forward to working with Ace in the future.

Beware of this company’s practices. We made a $5k deposit for a pool install during covid. When we made it, the owner told us that the supplies were short and there was a delay in shipping. After some time has passed we tried calling several times to get a hold him. Every time his employees would inform us that “they’ll let him know that I’ve called, the owner will give you a call back regarding your deposit. ” 3 years, since we made that deposit to get work done during Covid and we haven't heard anything back yet.

I would give zero if I could. Worst experience ever! Please do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs.

We still are not able to use the pool because of all the issues that were never completely fixed. The pool level keeps going down the pump stops working the liner is all stained and different color and not completely wrinkle free. Bad job! Nobody answers to any phone call!

I called several times to book pool service no one answered. I been to the store and booked an appointment and called on the service day than got advised they would have come on the day however no one came on the day so seems they are unable to take any service request at the time so go somewhere else

I don’t free frustrated but I would state something according your comment “immediate service”. I went to your store on Tuesday and spoke to you and got answer from you that you guys would be available to clean the pool on Thursday which means you should know your capacity not me as a customer I wouldn’t be able to know your schedule. And I called on Thursday’s morning and got confirmation that you guys would come on the day? Can u at least give me a call to let me know if you couldn't make it? I don’t think I booked a immediate service I don’t mind if you tell me in the beginning that you guys have no cap to take any extra service in the beginning instead you made the commitment but couldn’t provide the service:)

This is our first season opening our new pool, and based off of a recommendation we contacted Ace Pools. Andrew G was the fantastic person who opened for us, and he gave us the best possible experience. He discovered that our wiring had been chewed by mice, and he took time to repair as much as he could (something he did not have to do). We are beyond appreciative to Andrew G and will continue to trust Ace Pools with our pool needs! Thank you Andrew G!

Of all the days I couldn't have asked for a better one for Ace Pools plow to be driving by as I was shoveling over a foot of snow from my driveway. He agreed to clear the driveway for a small fee so i can get to my appointment I was late for! Thanks

Their snow plough service is reliable and efficient. They really put in the work to ensure customer satisfaction, never had a single problem as a long term customer. Their crews go above and beyond, which is really hard to find.

On the side, Ace Pools also does snow removal services in Stouffville. I called and they said they clean, but the next day this is what is clean to them. (See photo). Piled of snow from the town truck. I must say very disappointed and poor quality of service.

My son signed a contract with ACE Pools for a snow removal for our house in Stouffville, for the 2022-2023 winter.

The first time there was a snowfall, they did not come at all. I had to pay someone else to do their job. I called them several times but there was no answer, voicemails were not returned. Finally, when I got to speak to someone (Andrew) - he said that they forgot about my house. There was no apology offered, just a dry statement delivered with attitude.

The second time there was a snowfall, they came 32 hours later. I ended up again paying someone else to remove the snow from my driveway.

The third time (yesterday), they cleaned the driveway in the beginning of the snowstorm. I walk up this morning with a driveway covered with 12" snow. I called them and spoke to Andrew, again. He was argumentative, pushy, showing no concern whatsoever for the issue.

I would not recommend ACE Pools to anyone looking for a snow removal service in Stouffville. ACE Pools will gladly take one's money but will not deliver the service one hopes to receive. What a shame!

I highly recommend ACE Pools. I called them ahead of time to ensure they had the product I was looking for. Staff was fantastic, answering all of my questions. When I went to pick up the product, I was lucky enough to meet the owner as well. I cannot say enough about them all. Great team and exceptional customer service. From giving me tips on how to use the product (Liquid Chlorine), when to use it, etc, their knowledge was exactly what I needed to ensure I do things the right way. Five Stars to say the least. This is a fantastic new store in Stouffville, very excited! I haven't found prices this competitive anywhere and the staff is extremely knowledgeable, patient and attentive. I really appreciate the on-site detailed water testing (FREE). They print out an idiot-proof report for me and then tell me the exact chemicals I need to get the best quality of water. This is super easy and helpful, one less thing to deal with in life. The store is also very clean and tidy and they have a great deck out front. In addition to the service in the store, Ace Pools also provides all the necessary on-site expert services need for backyard pools including full builds/installs and maintenance. Lastly, it's also been great to see how Ace Pools gets involved with the community including the mini-ex on Halloween! So fun. Great work!

I've used Ace Pools for their Winter snow removal services for years. In fact i've used a few companies in my neighborhood but I always had the same complaint, they would never clean the driveway and walkways properly, there would be piles of snow left on one side or the driveway wasn't cleared wide enough etc. Ace was never like this, in fact from the first day until as recently as last night, they have always been very thorough. When they arrive, one guy jumps out and shovels the walkways and clears the sidewalks while the other gentleman is working on the driveway with the plow. They're not there for more than 5-7 minutes, but they always satisfy! I'd recommend these guys any day of the week!

The new store in Stouffville is amazing. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The on-site water test was super convenient and the prices the lowest I’ve seen!

These guys know what they're talking about and were a pleasure to deal with. I found their new store from looking for help with a water test. They were super knowledgeable and the pricing was the cheapest I saw. Will definitely use these guys again.

These guys are just terrible for reliability. They started my project 2 weeks later than agreed they then took 4 weeks long than they said it would take because they only showed up for a couple of hours a few days a week. While I was expecting a lot of my garden to be messed up from the construction it was utterly ruined, when asked about tidying it up their response was well we said it would get torn up a bit, they barely even cleaned up after themselves Tim's cups and rubbish everywhere. Almost impossible to get a straight answer from their office when you call and more often than not when you do call goes to a voicemail and they take 4 to 5 days to respond.
I paid for my pool to be opened by them this year, the cleaning job was only half done because they didnt bring the correct equipment "because they're so busy" they didnt even start the pool equipment saying the boss jason would be by to do it in a few days because he likes to make sure the equipment is working he did not show up at all and I ended up having to start it myself. I booked the opening a month in advance so it's not like they didnt know it was coming up.
Absolute con artists I strongly advise choosing literally anyone else.

Great Company to deal with. Andrew & Jason did an amazing job and were professional throughout the entire process. Highly reccomend Ace Pools to anyone interested in building or servicing their pool.
