Flew from Washington DC to Toronto today (Sept 2,2023 AC8785). This was a terrible flight. From small annoyances like a broken headphone jack to bigger items like a 25 year old plane where a small size carry on won’t fit and an extremely rude flight attendant who would not come through the cabin to pickup the drink cups before landing. If you can avoid booking Air Canada, please do yourself a favour and avoid it. I’ve flown all over the World with many many airlines and Air Canada is the worst time and time again. I really want an option for ZERO stars.

Easily the worst airline. 3rd flight this year with air canada and delayed 7 hours yet again. Poor customer service from the airport staff who are purely lazy, constant delays. Don’t fly with this airline

Intolerant employees and unpleasant attitude towards my wife.she flew business class, the woman at the counter near the gate asked for a passport, took it, saw that it was not local and asked to check the dimensions of the suitcase so that it would fit.my wife is the only one asked.her colleague with larger baggage walked without any questions next to her.first time like this.

I wish i could give them 0 start. We arrived to the airport 2 hours before our flights because of one of the attendants wrong information we waited in a wrong check in line and this airline did not check us in 94 minutes before our flight. Because their check in window is 90 minutes before the flight. We wanted to buy new ticket just to get home no body was helping us and they kept referring us to phones that no one was answering. Was my first time and last time flight with this airline.

Seriously AC? !? ! Insist that we check our baggage and then promptly LOSE OUR BAGGAGE.

If for any reason no matter how far out your flight is, don't book Air Canada, if for any reason you have to cancel your trip Air Canada's refund policy full F you in the A. Almost $800 on tickets for 2 people and I only got $200 back, and my flight was over a month and a half out. It's not like they're losing out on me canceling my flight, the only thing they managed to do was get over $500 from me and a 100% guaranteed that I'll never fly with them in the future.

Though my personal favorite airline is WestJet, my first Air Canada flight was pretty okay. The flight itself was great but it was delayed by almost 4 hours when it was already supposed to be at 11 P. M.so that part wasn't great.

Called the Air Canada help desk in Pearson Airport and was somehow connected to a scammer, who tried to take my credit card information and was able to pull me from my flight from London to Toronto. Thankfully for the lovely Henry at Air Canada support who noticed what was happening and got into contact with me before anything else happened and was able to put me back on my flight and report this number as scam. Beware before handing any information over as the person on the phone answered the phone as “Pearson Airport Air Canada help desk”

Just for your beautiful eyes, Maayan! Air Canada, sir you need to do better and provide a good service for the ones with special needs. Thank you for listening and have a blessing day. I think.

Helpful and Attentive Customer Service at Air Canada Toronto Airport"
My experience with Air Canada's customer service at Toronto Airport was great. The staff was helpful, attentive, and always willing to assist with any questions or concerns I had. They provided me with helpful information and made sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable during my flights. Overall, I had a positive experience with Air Canada and would definitely recommend them to anyone traveling through Toronto Airport.

Do not call this number because it’s not actual air Canada’s contact. They will direct your call to scammers sitting in India and steal your money from your credit card by pretending that they are third party reps from Air canada

Flight delayed. 3 hrs waiting for new flight. Customer service is too sensitive to handle complaints. They only have scripted responses. And if you have a question you're being rude. I take offence to my questions being considered rude. I am not a rude person. Maybe being an adult and wanting a direct answer is not part of the new standard. Now delayed again. 3 more hours. Air Canada is ruining my vacation.

One of the worst airlines I have flew. Aeroplan is also one of the worst mileage program I have ever seen.

Best airline ever because when I used it two times the plane looks very nice and clean and the TV screens worked very well and the employees and service is very nice I wish I could give it a 10 star

Avoid flying with Air Canada at all cost. There's a good chance they will lose your luggage and then donate it to charity. I'm no lawyer but that sounds illegal.

Absolute worst airline. Always late and intimidated me into paying $160 for a hand luggage dispute the fact that it fit the sizing frame. And their food is a budget airline quality at best.

The airline has delayed all my or checked bags, apparently due to the plane being over capacity, but failed to inform me and 20 other passengers until arriving at our destination. My bags have all of my clothes and personal hygiene products due to moving across the country and I cannot even return to work due to everything being in these bags. Terrible experience with Air Canada and very poor customer service as everything is automated and none of their agents can provide information.

Bad experience for everyone.
This is second time in one week they are testing their airplane with passengers on board.
Children are crying, people getting angry.
No food, waiting from 3 hours to take off plane.

Service on flight was always bad especially when I see an old person that needs help with overhead and the flight attendant don’t help because of their insurance policy…well that was their excuses anyway I would help but I don’t have the heights like the flight attendants to me it’s a 2.5 stars my families of 4 were in business class and everytime when it’s my turn to pick my dinner course they ran out of my choice‍️ so I’m left with the 1 only option and this is called business class happens twice for me in the span of 14hr flight Toronto to Seoul

Typical Air Canada service. Delays and no real information when asking about connecting flights. Just passing on the buck. Ask the gate agent… once there ask the agent at the departure gate walk over to learn about gate change then walk back to be told to listen to the PA announcements. Never should have been bailed out by taxpayers.

The most ridiculous aviation experience ever. Had a direct flight from LAX to YYZ. Plane couldn’t land at YYZ because of bad weather, which is understandable, they landed at London, ON (YXU) at 8am. First they made us wait in the plane to see if the weather would clear up so they can get us back to Toronto, then they made us deboard the planes because of some immigration protocols for international flights from the US. Now after 8 hrs of waiting in a small lounge and offering us $10 meal vouchers for the entire day, they boarded us back up, in the same plane, and now we have been waiting since 3pm, inside the plane, without any air circulation because apparently there is something wrong with the fuel gauges or fuel lines, and we are here sitting ducks. I have always been a fan of Air Canada but this has got to be the worst case of emergency management i have ever witnessed, and it makes me lose my trust in Air Canadas ability to fly me safely to my destination. Whenever possible, I will not be flying air canada again and i will recommend anyone reading this, to find an alternative airline carrier for your destination.

Terrible service. They charge for luggage to aeroplan members that use TD Aeroplan VISA when its actually supposed to be included. Today I waited an hour and a half for luggage return.

They are getting worse and worse. I'm taking flight to Quebec for a couple days. Saving my trouble, I bring small suitcase for carry-on, However, AC check each suitcase, ask you to fit it in their metal frame. Even my case fits in, with some pushes, they still ask us to check it in. So many people were asked to do so, they just want make money from you. This was never happened to me, domestic or international flights. Now that, all suitcase company need to follow AC's rules?

Worst experience ever reached airport 2 hours before and they said counter for check in is closed, never in my life this kind of things happened.
Do not travel with them staff is rude and do not help instead they force there words and lie to your face.

If you want to make other terrible north American carriers seem just mediocre instead of terrible, fly air Canada and they'll have a range of ways to disappoint you, whether flying economy, premium economy, or business. And I've mostly flow the latter two and they're terrible. Habitually very late flights. Lost luggage. Poor attitude and unhelpful from ground staff and on board staff, including from self-declared managers. Poor excuse for a signature suite in pearson (never visited it in yvr). And to pair with that air Canada experience is one of the the more poorly run major hubs in north America, pearson. I dread flying air Canada and I dread needing to travel to or connect in Toronto. Air Canada will suely undo any pretense of stereotypical Canadian politeness you may have.
