UPDATE: Company sorted out the issue - they paid the renovation cost to my property management. Hence, I am updating my rating from 1 to 3. I still deduct 2 stars for:
1. They did the damage. I understand that things like this might happen with the furniture delivery. However, this happened only because the delivery guy was Extremely Neglect. He couldn't care less.
2. They didn't respond to my calls and emails for 3 business days. They replied only after I wrote this review.

They damaged the wall in my condo!

Ordered furniture delivery from Jysk Oakville. This company handled the delivery. One of the crew members was using the metal cart (hand truck) with sharp edges to move large boxes to my unit. Due to his lack of attention or care he made 2 deep scratches on the wall of the hallway. All he had to say was "Oops" with a smile. I am now due $240 repairs to my property management company.

Best part - I called their support line. As this was Saturday, they asked me to call back Monday so that the responsible person will be able to handle the matter. It is Tuesday right now, the second day in a row that they are not picking up the phone anymore. My calls go straight to voicemail!

My advice - if you ever order something from Jysk, specifically request them not to ship with ALM Crown

ALM is absolutely the worst place to work they degrade you always treating to fire you when things don't work their way.

Even a 1 is too generous. This company was hired by costco to pick up my return on February 8th. They called the day before to confirm the pick up. They showed up after 6: 00 pm and took the item. When my husband asked them for a receipt to show confirmation of pickup, they said they were unable to provide us with one and that we needed to contact Costco. At that point my husband came in and told me to take a quick picture. I am so glad he did. A few weeks later I called Costco inquiring about the refund and they told me that the delivery company had wrote down that we cancelled the pickup. I sent all of the information including call logs and photos of the pick up straight away to Costco. It seems as though the pick up was cancelled by your delivery company and my items were stolen. As they were NOT returned to Costco and you can very clearly see the bottom of the umbrella being carried out in the box. This is theft and I told Costco that they need to look into this company and their employees as this is theft over $1,000.00. I will continue to make sure people are aware of the type of business you run. Disgusting.

Finally received my Costco order it took over a week to be delivered and when given a time for delivery finally was told 4-8 pm. They arrived at 9: 15 pm total unacceptable.

I tried to arrange pick up of a vanity that was being returned. I was not going to be home the first time they were in my area. I let them know that we would have to reschedule. The next time they called me I was at work and James called me 5 times in 2 minutes, didn’t leave a message and then sent me an email saying they had been trying to arrange pickup and I was not responding. I told them I didn’t appreciate the repeated calls and he said it was a problem with their phone. No apology, and was quite rude on the phone.

When they showed up to pick up the vanity the crew was unprofessional, using foul language, (dropped the F bomb probably 6 times). Not friendly at all.

I have always had a pleasant and helpful experience using ALM Crown. My parcels have been delivered in a timely manner with no issues. Highly recommend you speak with Jason to create your account!

Would give 0 Star if possible. All the staffs are so irresponsible.
They would confirmed the date with you and ask you to wait 10am-5pm at home, but either call you to cancel at the end of the day never showed up without letting you know. Spend my whole week waiting and calling the customer service. Then the delivery truck driver just rang my door bell one evening without any confirmation or notices. Luckily I was at home that time.

What type of business is this. Confirmed shipping for my order TWO TIMES and DID NOT RECEIVE MY ORDER BOTH TIME. Oh, and did I mention this order was supposed to be delivered a month ago? Oh, and did I mention it’s the customer service who told me “the driver has the order and will be delivered by the end of the day”? Oh and did I mention two different representatives said that?

I never received an apology or explanation. And I’m still waiting for my order that is supposedly on the road.

Terrible delivery service for JYSK. When they called we confirmed delivery for a window of time between 11-3. Mind you I was having it delivered to my parents place and planned my day to go there with my baby for that time. I get there at 11 and they call me at 11: 15 to tell me the window has changed to 3-7. I call them at 6 to confirm it is still being delivered. It is now 7: 35 pm. STILL no package. Absolutely ridiculous!

Received a delivery and they brought it right up to my apartment door instead of leaving it in the lobby (which is what usually happens with couriered items at our building). Great service!

Professional, hard-working movers. Highly recommend! On Aug. 15th two young men delivered our Jysk couch within the Hamilton area. There were some difficulties with this delivery due to the bulkiness of the 3 piece sectional and the narrowness of the elevator in our building and the door to my condo unit. Most delivery workers would have given up and had us figuring out how we were going to get this couch in our unit, but they were committed to help us get our couch in the unit despite the obstacles. This might have been their hardest delivery of the day, but i am elated with the couch and the fact that they didn't give up and were determined to help us get our couch through the door. Really incredible moving staff!

I've had the pleasure to have Taj and Chris delivering furniture to my home twice. The first time, it was a last minute delivery that Ani was kind enough to set for me and it was when we had our first snow and the roads were terrible. They called me to let me know they were coming no matter what, which I appreciated the call and their amazing job taking the 4 piece, very heavy furniture. Today, they came back to deliver one more piece and helped me move something in my house. 100% satisfied by their professionalism, kindness and amazing custoner service.

I've dealt with many couriers for delivering furniture for us in the past 8 years and ALM is the best courier that i have worked with.
We have been using their service for almost two years for all deliveries going to our customers' place. Jason and his team are very professional and they take good care of the furniture pieces as well as our customers' place. They have clean trucks and professional delivery folks.
The charge is very reasonable, considering that it is a white-glove service.
I would highly recommend their service if you have any delivery needs in the GTA area all the way to Burlington/Hamilton.

Would rate this company a 0 star if it was possible. I did not decide to use this company by choice. It was because of JYSK using them as a third party delivery company. The movers brought my sofa on the date as promised. Upon delivering my sofa in 3 boxes, they scratched my new laminate flooring in my basement. I made the mistake of not watching them bring the remaining two out of three boxes to the basement. Upon having to pay them, I was told that I would have to be charged a fuel surcharge fee. Funny. JYSK never mentioned this fee. I paid the extra $3.45 feeling as though I had been taken advantage of. Sure enough when I contacted the manager, Jason to complain about the damage done to my floors I inquired about the fuel surcharge fee. He admitted I should not have been charged the fee and would reimburse me immediately. I responded that it wasn't about the money, it was about the fact that his employee had LIED to me to my face about the fee. Jason did not even apologize for this employee's shady dishonest behavior. I then proceeded to discuss the damage that was done to my floors. He requested pictures which I sent him, and he said he would interview his mover. I am sure you can guess that his mover denied having damaged my floors. I was told this via email. Not even the decency to call me back after I provided my contact info. Then to be told that the damage to the floors was done before or after the delivery. I would never recommend this company. The mover showed his character by lying to me about a fuel surcharge fee. How many others has he lied to and got away with it? Then he lied about damaging my floors. Such a terrible company to deal with. Avoid at all costs! Not worth the trouble and dealing with their dishonesty!
