Alterna is my go-to financial institution. I believe in membership-based financial institutions and we have always had good service at the South Keys branch. Just saw Yakob today. He replies to queries promptly, provides good advice, and is professional, yet friendly. We have been at this branch for many, many years and have always received good service. Alterna supports our community in many ways, as well. It puts funds toward organizations that better our community, supports students with scholarships, etc. It is a financial institution which is rooted in a cooperative philosophy.

I called Alterna savings and asked about Alterna's mortgage as I want to move my mortgage from my present bank. I spoke to saima and she I replied all my questions very professionally. I will definitely think to move my banking to Alterna.

After having issues with online banking, we went to the branch to get Direct Banking Deposit form printed and to reset our password. We made it there about 10 minutes before 5: 00, which is the closing time. And after the teller had some issues getting that done, we were told to leave out of and told to make an appointment to print a Direct Banking deposit because it was few minutes past 5. That was exceptionally bad service. I would like to move my account as soon as possible from this branch.
