This is the 2nd time ordering and every bit as gòod as the last time. Perfectly sized portions, fish is absolutely fresh tasting, batter not the main attraction, coleslaw perfect. Keep on doing what you are doing. Arnold & Jacqueline

Fries did not fried throughly so center was still hard. Fish is pretty good but condiments kind of bad. The ketchup is either watered down or cheap branded ketchup. Tartar sauce is definitely not good and tasteless.

A few months ago a very large order of fish and chips was placed and delivered to the MARKHAM STOUFFVILLE HOSPITAL staff in ER.
The food was really fresh. The fish (halibut and cod) was seasoned and cooked to perfection along with the fries. YUMMY! Here at MSH, WE appreciate Amy and her exceptional great food/efforts. See you soon and thank you Amy for putting a smile on our faces. You surely brightened our day.

Very nice, cozy atmosphere, not fancy gourmet style, but the food more than makes up for it. We had the halibut and fresh cut fries and sweet potato fries. It was excellent. Fish was very tasty. Fries was hot and delicious. Tarter sauce was creamy and went well with the fish. Lots of free convenient parking. Would highly recommend Amy's fish and chips and would definitely be back. Thanks, Amy, for a great meal.

Small family run Fish n Chips store. Service was friendly, fast and the restaurant was clean. We ordered takeout, their special of the day Haddock and fries. Fish was cooked perfect batter and crispy, the fries made from fresh potatoes and not from frozen bag.nice and crispy soft in the inside. Really enjoyed my dinner. Will definitely order more often from there. Thanks!

Usually frequent Old Yorke fish and chips when feeling like fish and chips. Living in the north end it is quite a journey on a week night so after a Costco run decided to take a chance here based on the reviews. I was very happy, the good was prepared on the spot and arrived hot and was super tasty. The portion size was great and the prices were good. We had amazing service as well which will definitely bring us back again. Well done, keep it up!

I usually order delivery from DoorDash but today I decided to go try it in store. Glad I did. Best fish and chips in York region.

This place reminds me of back home in England, when my mum would take me to get fish and chips.

Of course, that was ages ago. This place captures that essence really well. Crispy and light batter with fresh fish!

Excellent fish n chips, I have not tasted them so good outside of England. I’m a Brit born and raised, but now live in the US. Since moving I crave good food every day and so miss a good chippy. Happened to spot this place on a trip to Canada, got a take away, and went back the next day for more. I seriously could have been sitting on the beach in Dunwich they were that good.

Nice mom & pop business, 2 owners/staff we're friendly and accommodating. Large parking lot so no worries on finding parking

Ordered 2 lunch specials (cod or haddock), fries & pop $9.95. Great deal as fries were plentiful, crispy and one large fish portion.

A slight wait as fish/fries are cooked to order. Fish has a nice light tempura like batter which compliments the fish. Fries were hand cut and not the frozen variety

As usually, why is it only a small portion of tartar sauce given verses the amount of fish, must be a conspiracy amongst all the fish & chip restaurants to limit the amount of tartar sauce given to customers. They did have malt vinegar & ketchup on the tables though.

I used DoorDash to order a dinner for five that cost me over $100 after taxes, delivery fees, and tip. However, when my order came, I received a dinner for one that was valued somewhere between 15 and $20. I am not sure how the store sent a dinner for one instead of a dinner for five, but it will take me more than three days to get a partial refund. In the end, I ordered a dinner for five and received a dinner for one that ended up costing me, with taxes, fees, and tip, more than $30. Totally unacceptable. I will not order from the store again.

Horrible dry food, messed up the entire order, rude staff.honestly one of the worst fish and chips place I’ve ever eaten at…

Such awesome staff! They helped us celebrate a birthday today, staff was WAY more accommodating than they even needed to be, even helped find us a candle!

The Fish and Chips are top notch, quality and portions are great. 10/10 Experience, would recommend this spot to anyone. Thank you for the amazing service guys!

Got Halibut fish & chips from here, it’s surprisingly good, if you looking for good fish & chips, do not hesitate to come here!

I read the reviews on Google before coming here, and just last week I came here with my family.

We ordered a halibut meal for four and it was more than enough food for us. The staff was helpful and friendly when it came to recommending what's good from the menu. My kids loved it, and they usually don't even eat fish!

I am really glad the 4 stars and the 5 star reviews are accurate! I feel like the 1 star reviewers don't know what they are talking about. You pay for what you get. FISH IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MEAT! I read the most recent low reviews, they are mostly unreasonable. Especially the guy disappointed about them not having coffee? There's a Starbucks in the plaza for crying out loud! Plus you're not at a fish and chips store for coffee, sir.

Amazing fish and chips.always come to get the haddock and chips special, the batter is so crispy and everything overall is awesome. 10/10 recommend!
