Very busy place, as expected during the brunch rush on a weekend. Great nostalgic atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is extensive, and the food (breakfast on my end) was great. Good portions and flavourful. The price was reasonable.
My first time trying Angel's and I really enjoyed my omelette that included Montreal smoked meat, cheese, peppers, onions, & other veggies. The home fries were yummy and crispy as well. I would definitely go back if I'm in Orangeville again.
This place used to be good food for your dollar. Today $10 seem s way too much for a small Caesar Salad and the sandwich portion was half of what it used to be. The quality of the salad was terrible, the bacon was lumps of fat, and the fries were cold after a 5 minute walk home. I won't go back. $32.50 for this is one reason why inflation is on everybody's lips.
Everything about my experience here was fantastic! Service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the establishment is very clean! Everything I look for in a great restaurant. Definitely going back again!
Stopped in today for a quick breakfast. Excellent food and an extremely friendly environment. Special thank you to my server Madison! She’s an absolute sweetheart. Great staff!
Angel's is a good spot for large portions of diner type meals and comfort foods. Usually I can't finish a whole breakfast plate, it's so filling. I would recommend to the kitchen staff to hold back a bit on the home fries at breakfast, I feel so many people don't eat them and it probably wastes so many potatoes. Service staff is generally friendly and attentive. On my last visit my friend attended and she uses a walker. There is decent accessibility parking at the front but the restaurant entrance and bathroom leave much to be desired for anyone using a walker, or larger mobility device.
This retro old school lookin diner stand by their high rating. Healthy sized portions for good prices unlike your mainstream breakfast diners Friendly service, checked on us a few times and made sure my friends coffee was topped up Average wait time Most of the group got the temptations dish and was well received by the whole group Got a little busy in the morning so it was hard to flag our waitress for the bill
Very disappointed to find the place closed after driving up from Oakville to meet with friends for dinner. I had checked on-line before making the drive and it showed OPEN? When we arrived on main street to find barricades and police closed off the streets for a parade? I understand the parade but it really would have been helpful if the website was accurate! Was it oversight or lack of caring? In the Christmas spirit I will choose to forgive this one, but not pleased.
Penny was AMAZING! She made my moms birthday awesome with her witt and great service.my parents love going to Angels.great food, great value and great prices
My family and I have been going to Angel’s for years, and I am so disappointed with the service. Our server’s name was Berdette, and she was incredibly rude to me and my family at my birthday dinner. I asked for a glass of wine and she said “uhhh… yeah I’m gonna need to see some ID”. She did not even greet us until we were sitting there for at least 15 minutes. She didn’t tell us any of the specials and was overall just not a good server. I understand we all have bad days, but I was so sad that was how my birthday dinner went. They also close on 8pm on Fridays. That just doesn’t make sense to me. With this said, the food is good and good portions, but you can find that elsewhere. Needless to say I won’t be suggesting this place to eat again.
Service was quick, pleasant, and good follow up. Although the restaurant was packed for the lunch rush, all biosecurity measures seemed to be followed. The food was good with large portion sizing. I would say it is a better breakfast or bruch spot than lunch or dinner, however it was our first visit and we shall see what comes of our second visit when next we are in Orangeville and craving the fun Diner environment.
Great food! I had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich. It was well seasoned, juicy and moist. Definitely up to par to ones I had in Montreal before. Strawberry milkshake was delicious too. With extras in the metal cup.
Was here on Wednesday, 28 July for dinner. Normally the soup is excellent but on this visit it was absolutely disgusting. For some reason who ever made the soup ruined it. It was supposed to be beef barley but all you could taste was black pepper. Absolutely the worst I have experienced. The place is always spotless and you can't find nicer more accommodating staff. Who ever did the soup this day needs to quickly be retrained and maybe have the recipe written down and strictly followed. It was THE WORST! Will be back but will be very careful about the soups being offered.
Had the lasagna. Different kind of lasagna where they topped it off with pepperoni and green peppers. Still good. And attentive wait staff. I only gave it a 4 star rating because there were flies buzzing around while I ate.
Another great diner. Stop here for breakfast, lunch, or supper when you get to the hwy 9 and 10. Classic diner vibes. Put this one on your bucket list.
My husband and I are 'regulars' at Angel's Diner for the last 4 years. We could not be happier to support this restaurant. Each of the servers are fantastic in their own special way. The food is great value for money. We love the Chicken Souvlaki, and the burgers - doesn't matter which one you try - are AMAZING. Great flavour, super portion size. Despite the pandemic, they have all done their utmost to serve the customers with grace and care. Cannot say enough about this fantastic local diner! They are our go-to place, and will continue be be that for us. Please remember to TIP YOUR SERVERS WELL! They are each outstanding! I've read some negative reviews and I am sad for them! Perspective must be applied. The restaurant has to ABIDE by the provincial rules! They are not applying their own rules. If that were the case, I'm certain they and all other restaurants and stores would remain OPEN to pay their bills. These are VERY challenging times, and we need to be mindful of what they are going thru as well as trying to abide by the rules set for them not by them! We have done take out and it continues to be FANTASTIC! Thank you Angel's, you ROCK, and hope to sit down again soon!
This is a regular spot after doing my hikes. On this trip the waiter left the bike and interac machine and disappeared. Other than that the food is always good.
Stopped by here on our way up to Tobermory. Had bacon, eggs, sausage, home fries, and the French toast. Absolutely delicious! Food was quickly out despite the place being completely full. Everything was fresh and delicious, even the rye bread was too shelf. My wife had an omelette, and said it was also delicious. Definitely recommend.
Woke up early to go for breakfast because it says they’re open at 7 on their doors. Go there and the chairs are all still on the tables and no one’s there.very disappointed.
Good diner style restaurant, love going there for breakfast or brunch once in a while. It can get pretty busy at times there but service is still really good.
We had a great burger and warm sandwich for lunch and it was fabulous. The atmosphere takes you right back to the 60’s. Great 60’s to 80’s music and good service.
Very clean. Very fast service. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would definitely eat here again. Highly recommend! Great prices for tons of food! I ordered the breakfast poutine with extra sausage and extra hollandaise sauce on the side. Delicious!
Food is excellent and affordable and the staff are amazing.best place make for our family (12 people) to meet for a family meal coming from Niagara, Collingwood, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon East - Great job Angel's Diner!
Wow! What an incredible restaurant! Went on a Sunday and even though it was packed, service was still fast! The portions are huge and DELISH! I can't wait to go back!
We have been coming for years, it's a great little family restaurant. We always bring the kids. The decor is fantastic and so is the food. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to do a family brunch or breakfast.
The foods always good but the older staff always treats teenagers poorly, maybe it’s because I have tattoos and piercings but certain servers always blow me off and are VERY unfriendly, I’ll see them go to other tables and chat with families and then they treat me and my boyfriend like dirt, it’s happened multiple times with multiple older woman that work there and it’s really upsetting! I’m more than friendly if they actually talk to me
I meet my Dad here for breakfast or lunch a few times a year and have never been disappointed. Despite it always being busy, I've always been served by friendly and courteous staff and the food is always hot and fresh.
