This evening I went in to Aqua Blue to pick a few things up for my new hot tub, the service was great, & the young man who was working was so helpful and patient. I'm totally new to owning a hot tub!

Well later in the even I realized I left my phone in the store, I should mention I went in about 15 minutes before they closed, anyhow I reached out via phone, email & social media desperate. (I use it for work and travel about 2 hours to and from) long story short, the lovely man who owns the store opened hours after to return it!

STAY CLEAR OF AQUA BLUE. Office staff are extremely unprofessional and rude. They can’t even resolve a simple pool issue. I will take my business elsewhere.

Furthermore.quite an exaggeration in reference to swearing and insults.your employee showed a complete lack of empathy for my situation.there was less than zero customer service.with all kinds of passive aggressiveness in your tone and replys! Bought a new pump at Boldt Pools 20 Nihan dr st Catharines and was also told there that they've heard your customer service is lacking to say the least. Fyi pump works great! It was a short in motor windings.

So 1 year later my pump started tripping a breaker, called aqua blue and all they could do was blame me and wanted nothing to do with helping me.they're a joke! Stay away and go with someone more reputable.

Bought a new pool.very friendly and very helpful.

Aqua-Blue is very unreliable and won't back installed equipment if you think you may have a problem with the equipment after installation. They try to blame the customer. I called another pool company because Aqua-Blue was unprofessional in the way they handled the issues. We had a problem with vacuuming and Aqua Blue service technicians diagnosed it to be a leak in our pool without examining other possible causes for the pump not priming. We called another pool company whose capable technicians diagnosed the problem to be the vacuum hose which needed replacement. Stay away from this company. In addition, the office staff is difficult when you have issues, which management backs.

To those who are considering using Aqua Blue, I highly recommend they read the Aqua Blue’s warranty and pay special attention to the ‘limited warranty’ and its exclusions of equipment and service on their website. It states, “Limited Warranty

Aqua-Blue (Niagara) LTD.warrants product (s) to be in good working condition and free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of Fifteen (15) days for RETAIL packaged products from the original invoice date unless otherwise restricted below or by the manufacturer's own warranty policy.

Aqua-Blue (Niagara) LTD.liability is limited to repairing or replacing, AT ITS OPTION, any defective product. "

If you plan on using Aqua Blue don’t assume that they will back your warranty.

Last summer I put got a new winter cover, converted my pool to salt water and got a new liner installed. Well over $6,000 for everything. Right from the start they were making mistakes on how they installed the piping. They had to come 2 more times just to fix that. Went to open the pool this year to find out by their own service men that the screws around the steps were all loose and the pool was leaking. There are now creases in the new liner and they refuse to do anything about it. They have blamed us for how we closed it (we followed their service men's instructions) and blamed the winter weather. They refuse to stand behind their work and want to charge us again to fix their mistakes.

Worse customer service. My husband and I came into the store a few days ago and we explained the pool we had at our home and what steps would be needed to get our water tested for our pool. Today we came in with our water sample, and explained again we had just purchased our home in October and that this was our first time opening the pool. Once my husband showed her the pictures of our pool, her respond was "that's a Walmart pool, we can test your water it won't do anything ". I'm sorry if we don't have a hard shell above ground pool, but it's definitely not a Walmart pool. We don't have a pool that you can just take down every season. This is an above ground pool that stays up all year round. We have a deck attached to our pool as well. The way she said "that's a Walmart pool" was so condescending that I immediately was angered by how she kept going. I have been in retail management for over 20 years, let me tell you if that was my employee talking to my customers in such a demeaning way, immediately fired. Customer service is what keeps businesses going. I know I run my won business. I was quite offended and hurt by her rudeness and unprofessional ways of dealing with customers. Sorry we don't have the kind of pool she seems fitting to help a customer out. Sorry we didn't spend hundreds of dollars at your store. What I am not sorry about, is that I will tell all my friends and family never to walk into this store again. No one should ever be left to feel like they don't matter due to being judge. And that to me shows this sales lady is either commission base and only cares about the money that goes into her pocket, or is just a rude judgemental woman. Either way, I will let people I know never to shop here. There are hundreds of pool ships everywhere more than willing to help their customers out rather it be a big sale or a small one. That woman should be ashamed of herself for treating customers in such a way. She's lucky I remained quiet due to respecting my husband. If I would have been alone and treated that way, she would have heard exactly how unprofessional she was being.

When shopping for pools, hot tubs or supplies for your hot tub or pool, Aqua-Blue has a good supply. Friendly staff who are able to assist you with your questions and products is a great asset. Found what I needed and had my questions answered.

Regarding our pool closing process, the workmen came when promised, did their work efficiently, were very polite, explained every step of the way and left our facility clean and tidy. I would highly recommend their service.

Our pool closing was a breeze! The men were very professional and thoroughly prepared our pool for the winter. I used another company for a few years and came back to Aqua Blue. They are very friendly, dependable, knowledgeable and helpful.

Honestly stay away from this store. The “manager” Hanna is rude, shames people based on their age and gender, and extremely argumentative. My experience with the management from this store is actually disgusting. Calling people names such as “crazy, embarrassing and humiliating, etc” is no way a professional should act. As I can see in other reviews, it seems that other people have had similar experiences. Please learn to treat people with kindness.

Service not as advertised. Did not perform opening service as described in a direct email. When questioned, management said that our concerns were not part of a normal opening procedure even though the email described the services to be performed. We were told repeatedly that it wasn't opening tech's job to describe in any way how to proceed with running the pool after opening, even though we repeatedly told them we were new to pool ownership. Not once did management ask what would rectify the situation. Only that we should have booked another service that would send someone out to tell us how to run the pool except no one told of this service while in the store or booking the opening even though it was stated that again we were new to this. Very disappointed in the level of customer service.

We have had the pleasure of dealing with Aqua Blue on a few occasions to purchase pool toys, a pool design and most recently a pool inspection. The team arrived as scheduled with a bill lower than quoted and the customer service by Eric was way above and beyond. He made phone calls for us to get details and promptly called back with answers. The entire staff are excellent. Thanks Aqua Blue!

I called Aqua Blue to come fix my liner in my pool because it slipped over the winter. They gave me a quote and date for about 1.5 weeks later. I mentioned I was selling my home so they said if they can theyll try to get there sooner, two days later they called and said they had extra time that day and went and fixed my liner. The next day I went to pay my bill and to my surprise it was a lot lower than I was quoted.
Aqua Blue not only did a great job at fixing my issue they provided awesome customer service. I would definitely recommend Aqua Blue to anyone who wants to be treated well and know they wont get over charged for services.

Great company to deal with. We installed an inground pool last fall and this will be our first summer with a pool. Craig and Darrin and great to deal with. Always willing to help. They are very honest with what to expect and we appreciate that. We would definitely reccomend if you are looking to install a pool. They also have wonderful staff in the store, especially Sue! My husband and I have used Auqa Blue Pools for pool openings and closing as well as converting to and installing a salt cell. Recently the team at aqua blue assessed that we needed to replace our pool valves and return lines due to water loss. The work was completed efficiently and replacement was done based on fact and testing. We were able to ask lots of questions regarding pricing and timelines and they were answered with honestly and integrity. We are very happy with the continued service we receive be it in store or at the house.

We purchased a SPA tub from Aqua Blue and have always had great service and advice! When we have had some problems with the pump they were able to have some service people contact us to get the problem fixed. We always get great advice to keep it running with regular water tests and it is still in great shape! Thanks so much!

Pool was opened as expected. The site was cleaned up and pool cover rolled up and stored. My only complaint is that two of the lugs that hold down the winter cover were not fully sunk into the cement leaving a hazard sticking out that could injure bare feet. Other than that I have always had great service from Aqua-Blue.

Wow, Mr. Roberts thanks for that review. I was thinking of going there today to look at a pool for this summer, but you have made me decide not to. That is a sad story when companies try to weasel their way out of obligations. I will post your story all over my Social media to help make sure this company does not do this to anyone else.
