The new owner Anthony is very friendly and helpful. I have gone back to the store quite a few times now. The fish look way better and healthier. Got a few sparkling gourami's and they are doing very well. Will definitely go back.

D J's is such an awesome store here in Woodstock! Their owner and staff are informative, kind, welcoming, and so helpful when purchasing or looking around for new friends to buy! D J's has a great variety of unique fish and aqua pals, and they are well taken care of in this business. It has been great going here since the new owner has been there, and my son and I will continue to go for our aquariums. Our personal experience; we bought a cichlid, and it passed unfortunately in a couple of days, and we brought the fish in with the water sample not knowing we needed them separately (never lost a fish this close to a purchase). He let my son purchase a turtle and took off the difference of the fish; which was a great accommodation to the situation and amazing customer service!

The new owners are awesome! Very knowledgeable! Very friendly and the place looks and smells much better then the previous ownership. You can tell they take care of their animals. Alot more variety. I bought two more red eyed tree frogs from this store. Love them! They are very healthy. I took some pictures to show them off. The bad reviews on here are for the previous owners don't pay attention to the bad reviews on here.

DJ's Tropics is UNDER NEW OWNER SHIP! Anthony (the new owner) has seen me taking pictures of the fish and asked me to take some, so here they are.they gut load their crickets witch is very important. They have their fish tanks being cleaned and taken care of daily.if you like artificial or natural they have both types of decor.they have a system called cricket credit where you buy crickets in bulk but they keep them and you just say your name and they mark down how many you have left the one I got is 20$ for 250 crickets the price go's down the more you crickets you get.

Anthony has done a great job cleaning up the place and his son was extremely helpful, gave me and my daughter a tour of the store and was full of knowledge and care for the animals.

This store was always best represented by Christal. She worked hard for many years. She was so helpful in teaching the new owner everything about the store. Now that she is no longer employed here. I know that a huge number of customers will certainly miss her smile and her excellent knowledge and experience. Its just not the same!

Great select and customer service. My angelfish kept killing any new additions to the tank. They gave me some advice and it worked! Now I can add new fish without them turning into a snack.

New ownership, tanks are clean animals are well taken care of. Employees are happy store is clean and you can tell they are working their butts off. I was looking for something specific which they didn't have but they told me when they'd be getting some. Give them another chance a local guy owns it.
