Day & Ross Freight

Rude drivers. Bought a gazebo from Walmart. Was delivered and placed on my front lawn. I asked them to bring it to the door. They refused and left. Called commerce solutions owned by Day and Ross. The drivers came back and moved it 3 inches no where close to my door. Now they can't send anyone today so a $1500 gazebo has to stay overnight. Worst delivery company. Will boycott any company that uses them. An absolute joke.

Zero stars. Cant call them men refused to bring up 200lb bed in a building after paying shipping. Useless desis. Don't ever use thus service you will break your back in process.

Got my order in 3 business days. Very satisfied with their service. I was a little worried at first because of all the negative reviews but most positive experiences don’t get posted.

Awful service, they keep promicing to pick up items (after pick up is scheduled) but never do. They're complete waste of time

Today is 16 oct 2022 time was 6.25 Am in morning there was two punjabi boys driving truck on bovaird there was left turn arrow there lights was red still they crossed red light. Trailer number was 47503. Who will be responsible if there is something happened. Please look into it.

Had stuff shipped from nova scotia to here without issue. Skids arrived intact and on time. What more could you ask for.

Shipment was scheduled for deliver last fri and they were to all an hour before they arrive. We phoned tracking and were told it was on its way. We phoned back at 4pm and were told they don't deliver on fri. Hmmm gets better. We were then verbally guaranteed the shipment would be here mon. By 4pm. 4 came and went. We waited till 6: 30pm and the n left the jobsite. When we called on tues imagine our suprise when we were finally old the flooring had been delivered at 7: 30. No phone call. No signature and not at our job lol. It really gets humourous after this with the promises of locating the product of call backs. Of emails. Even though we've called every day we have as yet not talked to the same person or any one that is helpfull or had any communication from them as to the where abouts of our shipment.
Do you want to trust your products to a company like this?

My friend applied for this job a week aga, they never processed his application and when they did they gave him call to ask when can we start your application over the phone.
Same day in the evening he got an email from this company and she mentioned tht all the slots were full and never gave him a call!
Look out people for this scam.
He did not accepted his other job offer that was suppose to start on Thursday thinking that he is getting a better opportunity working with this company.
So either the person who called was lying or the person who was communicating with him over the email was lying, or the posting was already full and they just wanted to see how much applications they will get.

I was thinking of giving them 2 stars but I guess they need to work hard to actually earn it!

Disappointed with Day & Ross. First they lost my table.then it appeared. Told yesterday had been found and would be delivered between 12: 30 and 5 today. Told the caller that I wouldn't be there until 12: 30 as I don't live at the delivery site. Driver calls at 11 to say he will arrive at 11: 30. I was still an hour away. Called customer service and they told me the delivery window doesn't matter and that I had to accept it without being there or they would try next week. When I arrived at 12 pm, this is the shape I found my box in. It is clearly marked fragile but I guess Day & Ross thinks it's ok to walk all over a customer's box. It was also clearly dropped. Don't use them.

Horrible company! Never ontime for deliveries. And when you call they tell you they cant give you a delivery time! Was supposed to be here days ago. Very frustrating. Hate this company! Wish home depot would stop using them! My package was due days ago. Now they cant even tell me when ill get it? Very frustrating.

The delivery experience is great. Everything happened as estimated. The appointment was scheduled with me on the phone, and delivery driver came on time giving a call before coming.

A couple of cardboard coverings were ripped in the corners but it doesn't affect items inside.

Waiting for a package to be delivered to Toronto, watched it go from Calgary to Mississauga and then get redirected to Richmond BC. Missed delivery date of a shelter I needed for camping. After reading the other reviews I'm now dreading what condition it's gonna show up in if it ever shows up.

Update: Package still not here when customer serviced guaranteed it would be here 2 days ago.use any delivery service but these guys.they dont care about customers or correcting their easily avoidable errors like sending a package to west coast after it made it to within 30 mins of its delivery location

On hold for almost 1 hour after one of the agent transferred me to probably local distribution centre to check status my delivery. Intentionally didn’t call me to avoid delivery on Friday.

Terrible service - not only did they NOT deliver when scheduled (or ever), but when you finally get through to someone (no option to leave voice mail), they make no effort to help and say you'll simply have to wait for them to get back to you - which they don't. It's been a week with no follow up. I'm cancelling my online order with Rona - who has also lost my business because of their poor choice in delivery company. Steer clear! They will waste your time and fail to deliver.

Unbelievable! Dropped off a Skid w/ our item at 10: 10 PM in the rain w/o ringing the bell nor obtaining a signature (required as per order). I wonder if the delivery guy forged our signature. They suppose to call in advance and inform us of their arrival, but this never happened. The boxes had 4" holes and beat up. Thank god our neighbour saw it and rushed over to inform us and almost took out their basketball net on the way out. We told the Vendor. If you're ordering something expensive, please have the store ship through another company.

This is the WORST delivery company you could use by far. I ordered from HomeDepot and had no choice but to use them. 3 failed deliveries, no call backs and any communication what so ever to arrange the delivery. A woman on the customer service line was rude enough to tell me IT IS NOT HER FAULT BUT THE DRIVER’S. I still have not received my order and god knows if I will. I had spent numerous hours on their customer support line during my working days and I am extremely disappointed that companies like this still exist. I will do my best to ensure that I spread this message through all social media channels, so not just my family and friends but other people will never do business with this company again. You do bad business!

1 star is too good for Day & Ross.

I bought a suv door from Calgary AB. They showed me pictures of how they packed the skid with my door. It was to take a week to get to Toronto, it took a month before I got my door. I called they told different lies even that my door is missing. When I finally got the door its bent up and scratched all over. Day & Ross is a garbage company. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Pay the extra form Puralator or Canada Post.

Been working at home the past several months due to the pandemic and I've found myself ordering things off the internet as my main way to shop. I order from various sources that use various couriers (UPS, Canada Post, Amazon delivery drivers, Staples). I'm sure these couriers are swamped with orders but they all delivered on their estimated date, sure their estimated date is a day or 2 longer than usually but atleast it's accurate. So far I haven't experienced any unexpected delays until one of the retailer orders used Day & Ross (Formerly Sameday).

First estimated date was Thursday. Then it changed to Monday. Then it changed to Tuesday. Then Wednesday. And now the estimated arrival date changed again to Thursday! That's five times they've changed the estimated arrival date on my order! Never experienced so much unexpected delays on a courier ever even during a pandemic.

I'm not even going to bother complaining, as it will fall on deaf ears, as per usual. I would simply recommend any other courier for your needs if you're looking for a timely delivery and any sort of customer service.

Very bad driving on highway 11. When another driver try to overtake day ross drivers plays tricks. They don’t let to do overtake. They need to be respectful and follow traffic rules.

Had a pickup in Burlington from driver Dalbir Chandi. Excellent service, hope to have him come back again.

Was a little apprehensive seeing the reviews but my item was delivered quick and safely and was notified the day of pickup. However. BEWARE of this company of hidden charges. They will bill you more later for a tail gate pick up.
This has left a sour taste and would look eleswhere

Worst company to work with.dispatch is not professional at all. I don’t know what they do all day but whenever you call them there is no chance they’re gonna pick it up.

Waited for a pick up since Thursday.and finally gave up today after two days of waiting. Unfortunately, quite disappointed with the service and reliability. I wasn't even informed that the pickup will not happen. 6 calls later I still couldn't get information on the status of the pick-up. To make things worse they left me dry and had to pay for a much more expensive weekend service to get my palette delivered by Monday. It is more like Delay&Loss instead of Day&Ross. NEVER again!

Great company to ship with if you want your product to arrive late and damaged. Customer service is terrible and trying to file/follow up on a claim is painfully slow. I would not recommend this company and would give them a zero star rating if that was an option.

Incompetent and bush league delivery service. They show up at my house with no advance notice and then call expecting me to leave work immediately. When I refused they suggested I go home and wait for a call for delivery that day with no guarantee that delivery would occur that day. They then said they would call to arrange delivery and they did no. When I tried calling there was no answer. These guys are a joke. Definitely do not use their services.

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered a bunk bunk bed a month ago through Best Buy online bit this company is the distributor so you have to deal with them instead of Beat Buy. Half our order arrived and 3 weeks later we are still missing the other half of our bunk bed. At first the company took responsibility and said they would look into it. Then they blamed it on the delivery company Day and Ross. Day and Ross says it’s Furniture Mattress Directs issue. Both company’s blaming one another. And no one seems to know where the other half the bunk bed has gone. No one will email us or call us with an update from either company. They are scam artists who have taken our money and will not deliver the whole product.

The worst freight company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. So far it has taken 6 days for them to deliver two pallets from Toronto and I still don’t have them. Their customer service agents can’t do anything for you and make you call depots yourself, their management makes promises they can’t keep, their logistics staff is error prone and even sent my shipment to the other side of Ontario from its intended destination and their fleet is breakdown prone! I could have gotten this shipment myself if a uhaul faster with less stress and probably cost less. Long story short save your time and don’t deal with these clowns - I never will again!

Worst logistics experience yet. They missed the pick up window 4 times, 4 TIMES! HOW DO YOU MISS A PICKUP 4 TIMES! What kind of business service is this?

No one lets you know anything so you chase them for answers and each time they had an excuse for not picking up. First time the driver got the wrong route, then they ran out of space, etc.

Avoid at absolutely ALL COST!
