Denny's

Wonderful is an understatement! This is our first visit to this location. Everything and anything was excellent. First: The manager was able to get a table for the five of us where we can be in comfort even with packed dining room- well done! Second: Sham has to be commended for his help and service. With the dining room being quite busy- he was able to serve us with class and speed. I've never seen a server tend to every guest quite like Sham. From refills of coffee to asking how everything was- he made our visit feel like home. Overall, our meals were great served by a courteous and helpful server.

Everything was great! Especially the food! My favorite was just as good as I remembered it. Brooklyn Spaghetti and Meatballs was heaven on earth. My crew enjoyed their food as well. The environment was comfortable, warm and our server kind and respectful. A little disappointed my partner was, that this Denny's doesn't seem to be open 24hrs more than one day a week. We both work until 5pm and have tried to make it in several times before this visit only to find out they were closing in half an hour or ran out of by 8pm. Thanks to traffic within the city it takes an hour and several minutes to get home changed into comfortable clothing and wait for traffic to die down and we don't even live far from this location. My partner is more upset by it than me as he remembers as boy and young lad that you could go anytime. It will be a struggle to get him to agree to come as he says what is the point by the time we get there there will be no food sarcastically. There are other Denny's I know but this one was the closest. My review is generously greater than what he would rate this location.

It's been awhile since our last visit to any Denny's, we chose the Stockyard location as it was the newest location near us. Our server Sham was outstanding, food was Denny's traditional flavour and staff was outstanding. It was busy but Sham our waiter was very attentive to us. Highly suggest this location if your looking for an all day breakfast.

Food was delicious, and the server displayed excellent customer service! I highly recommend this location.

The original all day breakfast restaurant. The location is clean and new. Food is average, may not go back just because of the competition around for breakfast is fierce and as far as "taste", you might as well go elsewhere since it's the same number of calories essentially.

This Dennys is very consistent in their food and service. Its what you would expect. No frills but clean, staff is friendly and the breakfast food is as it should be.

Terrible service. I’ve been to this location a few times and am always neglected by the rude wait staff, even when the restaurant is not busy. Worst breakfast spot in the area by far.

Sadly enough I didn’t want to write this review but I was with a toddler and still my waitress neglected us.even down to the point I had to signal another waitress for my bill. I wish I knew names.and me still being nice I tipped but shouldn’t have. The bad waitress was a middle aged South Asian (Indian) woman but the nice waitress that wasn’t even my waitress was a black lady (in her 20s) was great she actually deserved my tip… the date I ate there was around noon November 1st. If your in the customer service field it’s your right to deliver customer service!

So interesting enough I've replied to the companies response by emailing the address that was left and zero reply very professional I must say!

Shan gave us incredible service very happy with his service and had a excellent breakfast work break. Very fast and attentive and kind. Thank you!

Came for my son's birthday breakfast and the sign on the door says closed due to weather. There was no weather.

Denny's was great. This one on Sinclair is. Lean, fast service and food was hot and tasty. Definitely will be back again.

We came at a busy hour so the wait time was longer than usual but we didnt mind. The employees were friendly and the food was great.

Food was cold no taste and very small portions for higher price. Last time I went there last Sunday and it was disgusting food took so long so did the coffee an wasn't busy it all. Not worth the money u can eat good in other breakfast places for less money then in here.

I have been here on weekends, food is great but the service is slow, I get it, it's a weekend. However, I just recently came in during the week, around 1130am, they were about 6 tables, lots of staff, but the service was extremely slow, I couldn't get a refill of my coffee, took a long time for a server to ask for our order and lots of time for our food to come in, I saw lots of tables with same faces, lots of the staff were taking care of online orders, I could see staff on the phone, computer and packing.

Staff and franchise owners are friendly and polite. Food is decent. Beer glasses are always spotty and dirty. Slight racist undertones from the blue collar, white patrons that go there, especially breakfast crowd, avoid weekends at all costs.

I have gone here with my family many times. The food has always been great and the portions are pretty big. You never leave hungry.
The serving staff are all amazing. I have never had any issue with any of the staff. They are friendly, professional, fast and great with kids.
This Denny's has become a weekend ritual the kids enjoy.

Today my family and I went to this location. The place was very clean and provided a warm environment. The staff were very prompt with smiles on their faces.

This was my first experience and I got to say right from the moment I came through the door it felt right.

We were seated without delay on a nice clean table. Our server by the name of Ms. Jodine was just excellent on how she approached us. She came with a warm smile and did not rush us with the order. Ms. Jodine even helped us with our order and gave us some input on what we ordered. I was impressed with how I never had to ask for more coffee ️. The coffe was hot and fresh.

My compliments to the chef for the great food that we ordered. The food was hot and fresh and tasty.

I loved that I did not even have to ask for a colouring material and Ms. Jodine was on it. She made sure my baby was taken care of. Like I said she was sweet and so friendly. She made my very first experience wonderful. I hope that Ms. Jodine gets the recognition she deserves for how she serves from her management team.

I will definitely be coming back to this location as this place has now become one of my favourite spots to eat.

Shout out to our awesome waiter Sham he was quick, efficient and an absolute delight. He was particularly attentive to my children in a very kind and patient way. 5 stars just for his service.
Food was tasty kids were happy, coffee was hot hostess was helpful and charming.

I'm a delivery driver for this restaurant. Have done almost 50 deliveries for them. They always check up on me and treat me well. Nice staff all of them including the managers.

We were hosted by Sham at this diner. He offered us a great service and was very warm and welcoming.

We had an amazing server Sham, he was prompt and made our experience worth while. Definitely recommend!

Was craving a diner breakfast so decided to hit up this spot and it was great.

Twice that I've gone with my daughter to eat on "kids eat free" Tuesdays. I'm told the kitchen is closed and it's well before closing time. My daughter has had 2 meltdowns looking forward to a nice dinner with mama only to be told wither the kitchen is closed or the restaurant decided to close early. This 1 star review is for the dine in which I haven't been able to experience as of yet. I have picked up food and it was delicious but it seems they are insconsistent with their hours of operation. Maybe they should remove kids eat free Tuesday or close at 4pm on Tuesdays. Rant over.

Food was great, would recommend. (Sham) was a polite and knowledgeable waiter/server for us. He gave us excellent service and good recommendations.

I know mistakes happen but twice now that I have been charged more than I'm supposed to. The first time, I caught it before I left the restaurant and I got a refund, unfortunately, the 2nd time, I found out the day after. I went back to the restaurant and I think the person in charge was wrong to say to a customer "I'm not saying you're lying but.because it happened yesterday ", (mind you I have the receipt and it shows the name of the server and she was standing in front of us). I didn't get a refund but I got something equivalent. My children like Denny's, so I guess I just need to remember to check my bill next time before paying.

If predictability is what you're looking for this is the place. Food is uninspired, however the dining room is comfortable and the staff is kind and attentive.

I understand you are Denny’s, don’t expect the greatest service. But this is the WORST location. GARBAGE SERVICE

Clean environment with a very nice and friendly staff had the steak and eggs with hash browns, it was wonderful left with a happy belly!

The waitress made the whole experience not pleasant.
I had waited over 15 minutes for a coffee refill, and her attitude was not welcoming. She had forgotten to add something to my plate and had to ask another waitress for help. Don't think I'll ever return to this location.

This location on St. Claire has only been open for a couple of years but it already sees a good amount of business, especially around 9: 30 A. M.when we were there. Even so, our orders were brought out with lightning speed. The breakfasts must have been started immediately because they were ready and served in about 5 minutes. The staff was very polite and accommodating for us.

The morning is a great time to come here. If you're planning to eat here in the evening, I would suggest to get in as early as you can because I've personally experienced a waitress locking the doors as she saw us approaching while the restaurant still had a good 40 minutes before closing.

EXCELLENT customer service. The server named sham was super friendly and helpful. Definitely will recommend to everyone. Sham was super courteous and a great guy he went above and beyond in service. The food was sooo superb

First time in here, was sat down, 2 people in the restaurant, waiter came ask me twice to get my order, wasn't ready, feels like being rush, then on their phones, I waited to get serve, forgot to order the friend's for my so s meal, the food wasn't the bet either, the onion rings, had a bad taste like they need to change the oil in there fryer. Better tasting in Wendy's, first time being there and the last time, won't go back.
Bad experience, some people don't get it, no customer no mo ey and no tip, take care of your customers.

Very noisy and busy. Good food but the kitchen gets slammed so you need to put in your orders as soon as you sit down

Loved Sarah our waitress when we came in the other week, quick and very kind service. Food was so good, and refills are free. This was my first time at a Dennys and I can't wait to come back and try more off the menu

The food was alright. Unfortunately the service was mediocre. I ordered a house salad with no cheese, and added avacaldo and salmon.
However they forgot to add on the salmon, and they didn't take the cheese off. Not to mention the rest of the table received their food way before me.: (

Dennys always delivers. My server made the experience even better. I was served by Sham who was awesome. Ask for him if you can.

I never write reviews but wow. Told the waitress what we wanted and she asked us if it’s on the menu like we work there? Table wasn’t set properly, took forever to get sugar for my coffee and I managed to get someone else’s open jam from the previous table, when I mentioned it to another waitress she said sorry it was busy. Ordered a medium rare steak and got well done. Took 15 minutes for the waitress to ask how the food was + another 15 to remake the steak so I was done my plate by then. She came back and said sorry the cook is grumpy today… Manager didn’t comp or discount for such bad service. After we got the steak we got a completely different waitress meaning they knew the other girl wasn’t being professional. Also the music is just straight static, makes no sense.

Food was great our server Hazel was amazing, but… one of the server with her long super nails was touching our food, the girl at the door chewing gum touching her face while dealing with cutlery

Took about 10m to be seated on a Saturday around 11am. Once seated food arrived quick and hot. Food tasted great. Hash brown was really good!

Went to Dennys this morning and had a great time. The potatoes were delish and Sham was an amazing server!

You know what you're going to get menu wise, they're consistent throughout the chain.

My rating is a reflection of the staff.

I'm a privately contracted PSW and as things opened up, and LTC residents were finally allowed out for day trips a few months ago, it was challenging to find a place to take one of my lovely ladies to that was safe, convenient and accepting.

This was the place.

Every staff member has treated us, not just with respect, but as a member of their family, since our very first visit.

I'd name them all individually, but there's no need, as it truly is the entire staff.

Everyone, from the person at the door who sees us walking up and gets my client's fave booth ready, to the wait staff who bring the quirky but well loved condiments to our table without having to be asked, to the cook staff (whom we have never seen but love dearly) who easily accommodate sensory and gastronomical needs and requests, to, hell, everyone who makes a point to walk by and say hi, putting a smile on the face of a woman who's been stuck inside her LTC for 2 years, every single one is exceptionally welcoming

It's been a tough few years, and many people's negative traits have been amplified. So it's wonderful to go somewhere, somewhere easy, for comfort food, and get the extra comfort of a plateful of positive!
