Friendly staff, free water analysis. They have pretty much anything you need for your pool and their prices are reasonable.

Bought an order online and cancelled it. Only part payment has been returned and it's been 3 weeks. Three weeks ago I was told I'd have it returned to me but I now I can't reach anyone.

I am extremely frustrated with lack of communication from this company. I purchased a $6000 hot tub which as per their website was “IN STOCK” and would be shipped to me within 7-14 days! Now my backyard sits all torn apart waiting for a hot tub that I have no idea when it will show up since no one in customer service ever gets back to me! I have called everyday and left messages with no return calls and finally one email was answered to let me know the item was on back order (even though the website says in stock?) but should be ready by the end of the month which is now and still no shipping confirmation? And my follow up emails have not been answered? Of course my credit card has already been charged for the full amount when I purchased the item!

VERY RUDE BEHAVIOUR OF STAFF AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU CAN SEE THEM CHIT CHATTING INSTEAD OF ANSWERNG CALLS. I WAITED AT THE DOOR TO BE SERVED OR EVEN TALKED TO FOR OVER 20 MINUTES. I WAS WAITING WITH 2 OTHER CUSTOMERS FOR A WHILE BEFORE SOME ONE COMING TO THE DOOR WHEN BEING KNOCKED AT THE DOOR FEW TIMES COZ THEY WONT ANSWER. WHEN ASKED TO DO THE ORDER PROCESS WAS TOLD TO WAIT HALF AN HOUR AS THE SYSTEM WONT PROMT THE RECENT ORDER (MY ORDER WAS 15 MINUTES OLD) WHICH I UNDERSTAND. I ASKED IF I CAN LEAVE THE JUG WITH HER AND COME BACK IN HALF AN HOUR (SHE ALREADY HAD THE JUG INSIDE THE STORE) BUT SHE DENIED IT RUDELY. THEY COULD HAVE PROCESSED MY ORDER WHICH I HAD PAID ONLINE ALREADY AND COULD HAVE GIVEN EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MY REVIEW WOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. ONE CUSTOMER HAD PLACED AN ORDER TWO WEEKS AGO WHICH THESE GUYS HAD NO IDEA ABOUT. TWO DAYS AGO I WAS GIVEN SERVICE AT THE DOOR NOW DENIED AND EVEN WAS CHARGED MORE THEN WHAT I PAID TWO DAYS AGO FOR 2 JUGS OF LIQUID CHLORINE. WILL NOT GO HERE OR REFER TO ANYONE. WILL GIVE THEM NO STAR IF POSSIBLE

If I could give 0 I would. It is May 17th I placed my online order on April 23rd for home delivery. The website said it would ship in 3-5 business days which I understand things get busy. But now it's been 16 business days and still no confirmation that it is shipped! I have spent now 2 hours trying to speak to the right person about this and no one can help! I've call customer service 5 times and nothing.

As you know during this lockdown summer of 2021 ANYTHING pool related is challenging to get a hold of! I called DPSW Scarborough looking for a gas heater and some more information on it and spoke with a very helpful associate named Chaquel. She was knowledgeable and very helpful, offering other a Gas Technician and other Contractors phone numbers as well. I ended up buying the heater with her over the phone and she said shipping was included and would be delivered in 2 weeks. Perfect! I was a happy camper! Next day, she emails me, informing me that because I ordered over the phone with her, I had to pay for shipping. I was annoyed to say the least - however, called and spoke with her Manager, Russel and he rectified the situation and said they would cover shipping costs! He was amazing as well! Very helpful and also gave me some more contact #'s as well. I ordered the heater last Friday and 5 days later - TODAY - our heater just arrived! QUICK QUICK delivery! The associates at Scarborough location know their stuff! VERY helpful! Would recommend to all! SHOP HERE! EVEN the wonderful delivery man was friendly and helpful and made me smile:) a great experience from start to finish!

This place is great if you don't want to wait 5 months for a hot tub. They will ship it to you in a month.
Now their shipping methods are horrendous though. They don't tell you that they charge an extra $200 to move your tub from the street to your yard. And items you buy online with $199 shipping, is free shipping to the nearest shipping center. Buying accessories from a different supplier for now on.

I ordered many items for my new pool. Everything came in relatively fast. 1 item became on sale after I had received the item. I emailed them and they issued immediately a refund of the difference no questions asked. Great service, great prices and lot of varieties!

This is the best pool supply place to go to. The staff are great. Everyone here is very knowledgeable. I have been going here for 17 years now and never go elsewhere.

They have never sold me anything I did not need. Shop here with confidence. I refer everyone I know here. If i could give a higher rating, i would. The new owners and management have really changed the game in the pool business.

Have been coming to this store for about 7 yrs know. The customer service is usually great.the young guy working the floor was very helpful. The 2 girls behind the counter are not pleasant and definitely have a chip on their shoulder. Not what you want when your running a business!

They advertise that they have a pool heater in stock, stating it will ship 3 to 5 days. They charged my credit card immediately, after a whole month of waiting and trying to get in touch with the shipping department (not able to even leave a voice message due to mailbox full) no updates received, had to cancel via their application forms.

One positive outcome was that they did credit my account within a couple of days.

Too bad, they seem to have earned good reviews and I know that these are some different times, but they should not charge your account before shipping the product and customers should be updated.

Complete unhappy with the Service, visited the store on 3 occasions, spent a good amount of money each time, terrible customer service, rude staff, having a staff member walk away from me when I was asking a question, and another who watched me lug 3 chlorine jugs outside and other products and did not even bother to hold the door open or ask if I need help to carry out. I decided to take my business to another company, POOL MATES they take the time to value their customers.

Great place to shop for pool supplies. Don't listen to any of the bad reviews made by other customers. Their reviews do not reflect the true service that they provide. Will continue to shop here!

No notice advising not doing pool testing today. People lined up for half an hour before that was announced. Said would take samples and email but that not helpful if need product to adjust when get results.

At this time you are not refilling customers chlorine containers. So we're expected to purchase something I don't need. To add insult to injury you are not honoring my prepaid chlorine card. Your employees are wearing gloves and masks, so what is the issue

They are not atentive at all. I have been here 4-5 times just because it's the closest pool store near my house.

I found the staff lacking in knowledge and customer service. The first time, the staff member couldn't tell us much about a pool heater we were interested in purchasing. Thankfully the dealer rep was there and able to answer all our questions. That attention to detail resulted in us purchasing the product.

The second visit (May 26th) was to pick up several parts needed to install the pool heater. The staff didn't know what the parts were (installer wrote them down for me). Then I was told they didn't carry those parts and in between all this, the staff member served another customer leaving me to wait. Home depot (not known as a pool company) had the parts.

Management must focus more on training staff and spend less time hiding behind the back office window not bothering to come out on the floor when their staff cannot help the customer.

I truly hope my "opinion" is important to the company as both times I have been to this location, the staff have left a very poor impression.

They price matched a sensor I needed, which was cool. But why not have the lowest price to start? I buy lots of stuff there, now I wonder if I got a good or fair price. Discounters is in their name.

Have been shopping here for many years. Great selection of products with his prices, especially with the start of season discounts. They also offer discounts during the year, not to mention the unadvertised discounts for loyal customers.

This is the best pool store around my area. Staff are great especially Daniel. He's always willing to help and go the extra mile. Whether it would be filling up my chlorine jugs or picking out the best salt bags or helping me understand some pool products such as the salt chlorine generators and heaters. The entire staff unit are very knowledgeable. Will continue to shop here as it is the best! They also have the cutest blow up flamingo's (my daughter wants 100 of them)! I also love their uniforms really makes you feel like you're in a professional environment *helps that they're very slimming ;) *

When we first bought our house we knew nothing about pools and what to do. Over the years the help from various employees and advice has been extremely helpful especially over the past month plus, Russel and Josh have really helped guide me and my husband through a pool overhaul, with the purchase of a salt chlorinator. There were a few hiccups with delayed delivery of back ordered things but Josh personally delivered my items and Russel has been great at giving advice and sharing his knowledge. The stores yearly sale always have great deals and the staff have always been friendly and helpful no matter who it is. There are a few other pool places around but the advice was never consistent and sometimes it was actually wrong. Discounters is our place and they do water samples on the regular to ensure you get what you need. I highly recommend the Scarborough store, you won't be disappointed.
