So far I am merely being monitored for the potential of cancer, but I am fully confident in this Dr.

I'm not a new comer to kidney stones so I have a little experience with urologists. Dr Klinghoffer has always listened to me and given me options. I was recently surprised by a sudden onset of renal colic due to a kidney stone that had been, and was expected to remain dormant. The Dr met in in emergency and fit me in late the next night for removal. I can't thank him enough. He goes the extra mile every time.

Dr. Klinghoffer is such a pleasant doctor. He was very patient and answered all of my dad's questions with sincere care. Administrative staff were all so very pleasant.

Moved to Cambridge from Toronto and a phone consultation with Dr Klinghoffer save me at least 2 hours on the 401. Was very pleased with the experience

Dr. Klinghoffer has been my urologist for about 7 years, since a routine annual physical picked up an abnormal test result (high PSA, I'm over 60 years old). Dr. Klinghoffer has been thorough and reassuring during my time seeing him. I continue to be monitored regularly for any change in my condition, it's good to be seen by a specialist like him, I know I'm in good hands if I ever need treatment or procedures in the future.

My in-person consultation with Dr Kinghoffer was friendly, professional and helpful. He made me feel at ease and made suggestions to move forward. Received a call from a nurse to get my history and the doctor was aware about me before the consultation. I recommend him for others.

I struggled unbearable pain and went ER to find out i have kidney stone. The hospital dealt with it accordingly and later referred to dr ZK. Gone with elaborate and extensive medical test with him which i understood was part of the procedure. I am doing the same things after a year for follow up, making sure my physical being is well and sound. Mel is so approachable with schedules and queries. Thanks folks hopefully we'll see in person for a visit. It's always good to see nice people looking after you.

My experience with Dr. Klinghoffer was excellent. He takes time to listen and made me feel comfortable right from the start of my consultation, pre-op, post-op. I felt really taken care of.

I did two surgeries for kidney stones removal with Dr. Klinghoff. Both surgeries were successful. He is professional, went through every single detail with me after the surgeries, and set an appointment for follow-up. Not only that, he asked for tests to find out the reason for the creation of those stones. Send me a list of diet to follow to avoid further complications. I appreciate his efforts and professionalism.
His admin, too, is very professional with her follow-up and sending all the requisitions required.

As a new patient of Dr Klinghoffer having major surgery, l am so impressed with him as a Dr. And surgeon, explaining every detail of my surgery. For that l am truly grateful. A true blessing.

5 stars for Dr Z. Klinghoffer, however his assistant can make the experience quite displeasing. At times, she is impatient, unpleasant to talk to and can be quite misleading. I believe she requires some retraining in customer/patient services.

Dr. Klinghoffer is one of the best doctors in the province. Going through a major surgical procedure is incredibly difficult, both physically and mentally. But when you get doctors like him to take care of you, the whole journey becomes just that much easier.

He gave me all the information on pros and cons of the options I have, everything I needed to know, before and after the surgery, and always checked in to see if I have any doubts or questions. When I was in the hospital after surgery, he visited me often to check in how I was feeling and assured me that everything was alright - this reassurance and the mental peace that comes with it made me feel much better, even though I was in so much pain. Needless to say, he has incredible bed-side manners, very patient, extremely knowledgeable and truly caring and helpful physician.

I am deeply grateful to Dr Klinghoffer and will recommend him without reservation to anyone who needs him. Rest assured, you are in great hands.

Dr Klinghoffer is very patient and knowledgeable. He takes his time with you and does not rush. You would feel that he is really earnest in trying to help you. He takes his time to hear you out and explain the action plan to you.

The staff's are polite and compassionate. They are accommodating within reason. The staff's, like Dr Klinghoffer, are there to help out patients.

I have seen rude and proud staff's and the staffs of Dr Klinghoffer are the total opposite.

Dr. Klinghoffer took the time to explain to me what I needed to know before, during and after each consultation and procedure, and that made me comfortable about the whole treatment. Even with the COVID19 altering the norm, Dr. Klinghoffer and Melissa (admin), made the whole new process seamless!

This review has 2 parts; please read to the end. Thank you. PART A (first posted after an appointment) : I feel sad to write this review because several years ago I received truly excellent treatment from Dr. Klinghoffer. That treatment is still mostly intact. On 7 October 2020, I arrived 8 mins early for a 30 minute exam appointment, and followed the posted instructions to Not enter - and call the phone numbers listed and leave voicemails or texts. I called both numbers, leaving one voicemail and two texts that I was outside the door. No one had exited while I was waiting. After 45 minutes the receptionist called back and asked if I had arrived yet. (!) The glass office windows are frosted, so they would have seen my outline standing there the entire time. I was shown in to Dr Klinghoffer. He asked me to drop trousers and after one quick feel said that I was fine. When I asked questions about the noticeable size difference, he told me the ultrasound was normal though the appearance of my teste was not. It was not fluid filled. And the only way to know was to "cut off the testicle and slice it open to see what's inside". That rude, insensitive answer was not what I expected from the Chief of Urology at Centenary. Certainly, he knows a needle biopsy is an option, but it wasn't discussed. I was in his office for less than two minutes. If ever I need another urology referral, it won't be to the overly burdened Dr Klinghoffer. Maybe his voicemail system is useless. Or his receptionist is careless and didn't admit to him how long I waited. His attitude and inattentive staff left me feeling angry and insulted. PART B (posted after contact from Dr Klinghoffer) : Dr Klinghoffer reached out to me to explain the circumstances of my appointment and to apologize for the negative experience. He corrected misinformation I had about the possibility of a needle biopsy. He explained that he tries to keep appointments as brief as possible to avoid in-person contact during Covid-19. He also explained the three primary conditions (cancer, fluid collection, infection) that affect the area, how they are tested and treated, and reassured me that none of them pertain to me nor are a cause for worry at this time. I appreciated that he responded to my concern.

The doctor and his staff run a tight ship, they are on time, friendly and treated me with a great deal of respect. The office is spotless and before you leave the good doctor asks if you understand, if you are unsure he will take his time to answere any questions.
