The person I spoke to identified their self as a 3rd party rep. He was very condescending and disrespectful. He hung up the phone on me while I was asking a question. If this is the service I'm getting before booking then who knows what sort of experience awaits me in flight or at the airport. Though EgyptAirway is the cheaper option I rather pay more for respectful service with another airline.

Lost my bag on flight MS669
Cairo - jeddah. I tried all my ways to reach them no response till date. Shame on you egypt air to steal passengers bag. Its a big scam of this people to steal luggage and not respond in the end passengers give up and they make money out of it. 1000 of bags have been stolen by this airlines please read reviews of them every office has same story. Please do not travel with egypt Air.

Avoid this airline with as long of a pole as possible no customer support, won't respond to emails literally sent 10 even to their billing team no response and they won't accept any calls, don't even get me started on the quality of their planes and professionalism

I recently had the unfortunate experience of flying with [EgyptAir], and I must say it was incredibly disappointing. The issues I encountered during my journey left me frustrated and dissatisfied.

First and foremost, the flight departure was significantly delayed, not just once, but on two separate occasions. This inconvenience disrupted my travel plans and caused unnecessary stress. It's disappointing that the airline failed to manage their operations effectively, resulting in such delays.

To add insult to injury, when I finally reached my destination, I discovered that my luggage had been damaged. It was evident that proper care was not taken to handle passengers' belongings, leading to a broken suitcase and damaged personal items. This negligence is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the airline's commitment to providing a satisfactory travel experience.

Equally disheartening was the lack of support and concern displayed by the airline's customer service representatives. Despite reporting the issue and filing a complaint, I received no meaningful assistance or resolution. It's deeply disappointing when an airline disregards the concerns of its customers and fails to provide the necessary support in rectifying the situation.

In light of these experiences, I cannot recommend flying with [EgyptAir]. The repeated delays, damaged luggage, and the indifference of the customer service team have left me with a negative impression. I hope that by sharing my feedback, the airline will take the necessary steps to address these issues and improve their services for future passengers.

I am truly disappointed with EgyptAir's customer service. I applied for a simple refund more than a month ago, and I have yet to receive any response or support. It's been total radio silence from their end. I just wanted to share my experience to caution others when dealing with this airline. The lack of communication and assistance is frustrating, and I expected better from a company like EgyptAir. #CustomerServiceMatters #RefundStruggles

I would give 0 stars if possible. First they made us wait 2 entire days back to back for a flight for umrah which eventually got cancelled. They still haven't refunded us our tickets, it's been over a month. And they don't pick up their calls or respond to their emails. Worst airline ever

So many one star reviews for a reason! I would give zero stars if I could! Horrible customer service! If you have any change in plans your money is lost!

They didn’t honor their same day cancellation policy! Almost 60 days without a refund and counting! Other airlines refunded me the same day!

Phone numbers are out of service 9-5 weekdays (literally) and straight to voicemail in all other times…they never respond to emails.

Avoid at all costs…disrespectful! It's clear they don’t value their customers, money grab, please think twice if you’re considering.

The worst Airline you don't need to try. I recommend you walk to Cairo than booking a ticket on Egypt air.

Pros: decent leg room

Cons:
1) poor website - there was a glitch with the booking and I was unable to select special meal (asian vegetarian). During luggage check-in asked the ground staff about this issue and they knew that this issues has been persistent since long. They assured that there are a lot of extra special meals on the flight. However, on requesting the same to the air staff they denied, saying that they will provide only if it was pre-booked and they don’t have any asian vegetarian meal left.

2) unreachable at any of the numbers (tried calling all of the US & Canada offices) and KSA offices

3) during web check-in was unable to select seats although 80% seats were still available

4) web check-in passed partially - I received the boarding pass but my spouse did not. We went to the Egyptair agency (in person) who had no idea what was the issue. They said check-in at airport.

5) very old air craft so passenger screens are primitive LCD so very poor touch response.

Toronto CS line is always busy.
Bad customer service.
They refuse to hire more people to work the phone lines.
Only 1 person answering all the calls
Only 1 location/office. The airline crew check ins are no help either. Cuz the employees can't help you and they don't know what they're doing.
Overall really bad airline for CS help.

Absolute disaster. They won’t reply to emails. And phone is basically switched off all the time. I mean yes - it’s Canada. People and businesses are slow in general but these guys are the worst.

Absolute nightmare dealing with this airline. I am now in my fourth month trying to resolve a matter. Yes, you heard that right.four months. No one answers the phones. They send back one liners in their emails with absolutely no resolve. Complete nightmare.

They have a good customer service in Iraq, but in Canada, unfortunately is not good. For a week, I am calling Toronto branch, but no luck to talk to someone. I have a lost bag and it was found in Egypt and according to an e-mail from the Airline, the bag was sent to Toronto on Feb. 23.2023. Though they have my full address, but we still did not get the bag. Today is March 06,2023.

Today I called at 9: 00 AM EST, I was on hold for 2 hours and 14 mins before getting through to someone. I had a concerns, questions and a complaint to address. I was only on the phone for 5 mins before your representative was rude and hung up the phone on me. He was very hostile, aggressive, argumentative, and ignorant. He refused to listen or answer questions. That is not the way to conduct yourself as employee and a person who serves to help. I will never ever book with your airlines again. Nor will my family and friends. Your customer service is terrible. I’ve called for the passed 3 days and when I finally get a hold of someone, the customer service is a -1000. I am disgusted by the way your employees handle themselves, I was told “I cannot help you and I have another customer on the line. ” Disgusting customer service care. I have never experienced such manner in my life. Such disgusting behaviour from your reps.
