This gym is always and clean and ready to welcome the guests. The location has most equipment along with sufficient space for crossfit workouts. Plus they are not too crowdy. Its easily accessible, located right above subway station. Only thing they lack is a water fountain. Rest the experience is great
Post COVID edit: the girl who works there on Wednesday is the epitome of poor customer service. She regularly hides in the back room and seemingly does nothing/the absolute minimum needed to qualify as an employee. Tonight was the capper for me when I asked her to her face if they would be closing early for building maintenance, and was told "no" by her, only to have security show up in the gym later to kick us all out in the middle of our workout. I wouldn't have been so mad about it if I hadn't watched her LEAVE QUIETLY LIKE NOTHING WAS HAPPENING, TELLING NOBODY OF THE UNFORSEEN CHANGE BEFORE 10PM WHEN HER SHIFT WAS DONE. In short, this place is quickly free falling into a dumpster fire and unless management can get it together this will soon be the worst location in the GTA.
Well managed and they keep it clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful and there are lots welcoming members. It's also well equipped, especially for the price. Definitely worth the membership price!
I go to the downtown one normally. This one doesn't have a squat rack or stair master which was disappointing. They do however just have the gym as one open area instead of the black card only areas. Which is nice Overall, it's a cheap gym
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the behavior of one of your employees, Patrick. His disrespectful demeanor and unprofessional treatment of customers are utterly unacceptable. Despite my efforts to engage with him in a respectful manner, his responses were consistently impolite and offensive.
It is absolutely intolerable for an employee to make veiled threats about canceling memberships to customers. Such behavior not only reflects poorly on your establishment but also creates a hostile environment for patrons.
I recently experienced an incident that exemplifies Patrick's disregard for customer service standards. While waiting patiently in line for a hydro bed, I was dismayed when his friend arrived and callously declared, "Yo buddy, I'm going to bed 1. " To add insult to injury, I found myself standing at the front desk with no employees present. When Patrick eventually appeared, he chose to prioritize the needs of his friend over addressing my concerns, demonstrating a blatant lack of professionalism and respect.
I insist that appropriate action be taken regarding Patrick's behavior. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, and it is the responsibility of your staff to uphold these fundamental principles. I trust that you will address this matter promptly and take measures to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.

I could not find the location. I found the underground parking on the side street and followed the signs that led me to P4 and then there were no more signs. Just a huge parking lot with various exits to multiple buildings. No signs of building 5150. Please get property manager to install more signs that lead you to the correct parking area and entrance. It was the most ridiculous experience. The parking lot itself is like a maze connecting various buildings on both sides of the street. Poor signage. I gave up looking and went back home. My home gym was closed but due to the confusion and the audacity of being charged $5 just to enter the parking lot, I will never return to this location again!
Gym is very clean but due to its tiny size it’s almost always packed to the gills with people and you almost always have to wait for equipment.
Also no gym can get more than a two star if it has ZERO squat racks.
The Fit4less gyms at Kipling-Queensway and East York Town Centre are like the Ritz-Carlton and this is a youth hostel.
The one good thing I’ll say about this gym is I want to get out of here so badly I always finish my workouts 25% faster than when I go to the other two.
Never use fit 4 less, they have poor customer service, and are over charging. I've been calling for months and they won't fix, I called my bank and they are having trouble fixing the issue. Headaches
Very big and new location. Almost empty not much ppl. But the parking and elevator is broken half the time. The parking fee waver machine is broken and says just unse the intercom at the door and tell them you are from fit 4 less. But then u keep pressing to talk to the security and no one answeres so you end up paying the fee. I am angry at this building i wish fit 4 less was some where else. And when the elevator is broken you gotta use the other one down which has more walking. Or just tallke the stairs
There is a lot going for fit4less. If you want a gym experience with no fuss, then this is for you. They have everything you would want for weights, csrdio, and machines. There are a few optional extras as well, but it is a scaled back unpretentious gym. The staff service is very good, and I have found all members to be very easy going. I've observed no drama, issues, disrespect, no hyper-egos, no gawking or posing. The fee structure is starting to be nickle-and-dime-like. Low base fee but with monthly addon options can can really add up. Read the fine print. And.don't forget to bring your water bottle. There is no fountain at the gym. Some locations have free parking for 2 hours.
Never opens on time. Opens half an hour late. These people do not respect other people time. The worst gym I have been too. Poor staff and no customer service.
Except for one Chinese person, the whole staff is late. Never opens on time if this Chinese gentleman is not the one opening the gym. Shameful. I am leaving at 6.49AM and still no staff to show up here.
Don't bother giving them your banking information. They'll collect and collect even if you cancel your membership. I do not recommend this gym or any fit4less. You can only cancel in person at your location, not online. I cancelled months ago during the pandemic, my emails went unanswered and they've collected from my banking without permission. I don't even live in the area anymore.
The staffs who work in 5150 Yonge Fit4less are extremely rude and not helpful at all. When I ask a question, they behave like they do not wanna an answer but they feel they have to and I can see it in their faces. As an advantage of having a black card, I can buy beverages with %50 discount, right? But guess what, they do not sell it because their poss machine is not working. So what is the point of having a black card? And another story about the machines. I understand that due to pandemic rules, machines are not allowed to be used. But 3-4 machines in a row are not allowed to use because they are broken. It is not about pandemic or restrictions.
I am planning to cancel my brother's, my roommate's and my memberships soon.
The new guy the over weight guy Daniel is rude he should know how to communicate with the public The only decent guy that works at this gym is Dennis and Dwayne the rest need to go to school and learn how to communicate with the members I think it’s time to start going to a different gym
I like the location, it’s not far away from where I live. Free parking! Which was my main concern when I was planning to join the gym. Fit4less is real proof that you don’t have to pay too much to stay fit! The location is always clean & the staff are welcoming and supportive. They have excellent measures regarding COVID-19 and the sanitization stations are always full and maintained. The building where the gym is located is always clean and has some shopping facilities.
Worst customer service I have ever had with a business in Canada! No online support! No contact us for change in membership! The only way to cancel the membership is going to club where the club is closed due to covid! (THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENCE!). They have deliberately made cancelation extremely difficult to continue charging members without them being able to cancel it!
Good place to workout! People manage themselves well. Most of them wear mask, take turns for equipment to use. Best gym with the good price, too. Just like its name' Fit4less i guess'

Manager Holly did not followup with me regarding an reimbursement for an upcoming fee.long story: I updated my banking information the day before the next membership fee since my previous banking account was hacked and locked and under investigation. Their system requires 3 business days to update, so i got hit with the 25 dollar fee. Tony at the frontdesk said to speak to Holly. Holly understood my position, said she will contact home office (no way for any member to contact home office, no contact info on fitforless website). She then said she would call me to let me know if they will reimburse me. I said if they cant, to just cancel my membership to avoid the fee. She said ok and took down my number. Week and half goes by after I see this fee not being reimbursed, so I go today. Holly was wiping stations and Tony, who recognized me, let me in. I then went to Holly and asked if there is an update. She didnt recognize me and instead said she is busy working. I said that I just need a quick update. And explained who I was but she said she doesnt remember me. Holly said for me to email her (huh? , theres not even a fitforless corporate email much less hers). I suggested Tony (who was on the conputer) to swap places. She said no. As i was leaving I slapped the wall in frustration and she said I need to leave or I will call security. I said to her that she is the bad guy in this but to please take the time, that is so precious to you, and which in the time youll use to call security, you could have helped me. Security came and I tood them I was already leaving and went my bmo bank just across from this fitforless. This is not about the money.its about me going through hell with identity theft and being promised by Holly to be contacted. Holly if you are reading this, you are a fake and insincere person.
I am stuck with the membership. They are not canceling it even though i have no commitment membership. I submitted cancellation request online on August 13,2020 at 8: 30 AM. On September 18th i still got charged.called them again on oct 3,2020 they said it will end on oct 22,2020 but they are still charging me.
Really nice gym, affordable, good amount of equipment, however there is only 3 change rooms and no water fountain. There is a booster juice, and a food court out on the second floor.
I have been to other location but the Fitness4Less.located inside the north york center.is probably one of the best.no need to go outside the street during cold season if you take the subway train. The Only thing i dont like is the stafff a black guy during the PM shift, he have an attitude problem.the rest are okay.
Great location to get a lunch time workout in. It has all the equipment necessary to work all areas and cater to all fitness regimes. Jimmy keeps the place clean and equipment is rarely down for maintenance.
I have been working out at this location for over a year now and I have to say that this location is my favourite. This location has a great, friendly staff. Jimmy is always considerate of everyone coming in and ensuring to greet everyone in the gym. I've worked out at all times of the day and each time I am in there, I always see the staff walk the floor and put back loose weights and mats back to their designated spot. Thanks Fit4Less North York Centre staff for making my experience every time I come in for a workout a great one!
Hey, this Fit4Less location is amazing! I have been going 6 days a week for over 3 months and I'm going to keep going! The staff are amazing, Jimmy the manager knows everybody and does regular check ups to make sure everybody is having a good time. He also takes the time to introduce people together to help make this gym an integral part of the North York community. This gym is always clean and all of the machines are kept in good repair and are never broken or out of service. Thanks to Jimmy I feel like I belong at this gym, and I have the motivation to keep going back to reach my fitness goals. I have lost a ton of weight and look and feel great. I can't describe how amazing it is when people notice how much better I look. If you are considering joining, I highly recommend taking the time to go tour the gym for free, as long as there is staff there you can tour whenever you like. All the best Reach your goals -Chris
I like the gym facility and it location. In the mall, Fit4less is very clean and organize. I am happy with the services and tour from Jimmy. He is very friendly and very helpful. I enjoys Fit4less at this location so far, especially with the friendly environment.
This is location is been my gym for 2 years now and I could definitely say I am please of how friendly and helpful all the staff are. The place is always clean and tidy anytime of the day. It's a busy place yes but I always go in the morning when people are less and I don't have to wait for a machine to use. I would recommend this location 100% no doubt to everyone.
Went there yesterday with a friend for the first time to resolve a membership issue. There was a buzzer by the door that is supposed to be used by walk-in visitors with no membership. I got there around 7 PM, buzzed the buzzer for over 30 times within at least 15-20 minutes of waiting behind the door but shockingly the extremely rude dark-skinned male staff named (Dwin) didn't even bother himself to come and open the door for a long long time although we asked people with membership who were going in and out to ask him to open the door for us but he didn't even care although he was at the desk (according to what people said) and honesty that was the first time that I was witnessing such a terrible costumer service and I couldn't believe it until we finally got to get in and faced his indifferent attitude! He just said whose turn it it is because it was already a line of 4 of us wanting to talk to him. Not even an apology! I'm not even sure if there a supervisor or manager in this gym location or not but if there is and you aware of what these people are doing and just ignoring it, you are doing an extremely terrible job supervising such these.staff and you better do something else! I wish I could give a minus rating! Good luck
Wow it's really busy at nights. Feels like it's New years. It's better if you can get your workouts during the days because it's supper clean and the staff provided great customer service. The staff do a great job providing a great environment. The best affordable gym in the city. Many thanks to the staff at the North York centre. The black card is the best value.
This is my favorite fit4less branch - the staff is friendly, the gym itself is clean and spacious and generally speaking, the people inside the gym care about the infrastructure. For the price this branch is a steal.
Super convenient location right in my building. Work on your tan all year round or just go in for a quick aqua massage if your a black card member. The gym is kept pretty clean and the staff is friendly.
We attend Fit4Less North York Centre gym about 4 times per week and the staff have been amazing. Jimmy is very helpful and provides awesome hospitality. I would recommend this gym for anyone who is looking for a great value and clean gym! Get the Black membership $25 per month. Awesome Staff!
This fit4less is by far the best location Ive been to. Jimmy and the staff are always welcoming and helpful if you have any questions or need any assistance. The place is always very clean and well kept. I go in the mornings and never have to wait for equipment to become available. Location is super convenient with lots of parking which they validate. Wish I had switched gyms earlier
An excellent gym that I am sad to depart from due to poor TTC service hours in the morning. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area - clean, well-run facilities, and great members. I hope to return one day!
Staff should be trained for customer service. I have been to many different locations of fit4less but staff at north york location is very rude and unhelping.
As a whole, the gym is decent.however, what's the point of posting 'rules of etiquette' if no one has to follow them? The first one says "absolutely no personal trainers" but there's ALWAYS some going on.today the staff actually had a full out conversation with the trainer.but hey, it is north york and the trainer was asian, so i guess maybe that's why? The weights are never returned to the correct spots and hardly anyone wipes down the machines after use.and the staff couldn't care less.i go here because of the price.the service is terrible.
The attitude of the staff is very bad, one arrives to have their doubts resolved and the girl who attends answers you in the grossest possible way threatening that you cancel your registration whenever she wants.the gym itself is good but it is very unpleasant that the reception girl badly looks at you all the time
Price is very affordable, good location with easy access from the subway. Not a lot of machines available, so there is usually a wait for other equipment. But great for the price, would recommend

So after I had paid fortune for my membership with GoodLife Fitness last decade! And because of personal changes in my life, I enrolled in Fit4less at North York Center which I consider it as a MILESTONE in my life.
This GYM has the best price, location, 24/7, and cleanliness in the north here, depends on where you live. It is a walking distance from North York Center subway Station, and they offer 2 hours daily free car parking. Staff is very friendly and Jimmy, the manager is very personable and attentive.
