Most affordable gym in Kanata. Decent selection of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. Place is open 24/7 with good staffing hours. The black card is absolutely worth it.

I mean it's decent for the price but some members need to use deodorant. Seriously one of the stinkiest gyms I've ever been to!

Recently was at the Walkley location for the first time and it was SO bad, I realized how good this location is. The equipment here is always in working order (no break downs/out of order), the change rooms have lockers large enough for coats, boots and gym bags, as well as showers and changing stalls. The paper towel is always stocked and people always wipe down after. The women to men ratio is even (other location is all men, lol) and the staff is friendly here. I never leave reviews, but the juxtaposition between locations is crazy!

I’ve been coming here since it opened…. Things have drastically changed for the worse.
Showers/change room is not cleaned on a regular basis- especially when the same glob of hair has been there for a week.
Machines are starting to show their age…I guess that’s why so many don’t work (treadmills).
Showers…OMG for a 24/7 gym it would be fantastic if the showers would turn on before 7am (most times it’s been closer to 7: 10am or later! VERY ANNOYING)
Are the tanning beds even cleaned?

Poor staff, management made me very uncomfortable & gave very creepy vibes. Gyms should have inclusivity and people should feel welcome and safe. As a man, the manager seems to care more about the women at the gym than his own position as a manager, which is really pathetic to see. This individual i’ve seen should not have a position of power in the gym if that is how he is going to act towards people in a gym environment!

It's ok, really great equipment, clean, and not busy in the morning, but if you work out in the morning before work, you're a little out of luck for most things. Can't shower or use any of the black card amenities (aside from the black card workout area) until there is staff.
They do have wifi now, which is great and the staff are always lovely when I do talk to them:)

Large and relatively clean gym. The free weights could be better organized and some of the staff members need to learn about customer service. Ignoring gym members and sitting on the front desk does not look very professional.

I wish they had the showers open when the staff is gone. I have never seen a gym that shuts off their showers during open hours

Staff is so rude and they don’t reply you properly. Especially if you are not Canadian they don’t even take your feedback or reply you in proper way. Such a worst staff. The lady with spectacular and two guys with her are like playing jokes and not bothered to answer.

I don’t notice other comments before joining this gym. Later I can see what others commented is true. The staff here is not polite to answer any question. They are busy in discussing themselves at their desk. Their answers are so disgusting like we are using the gym for free and we are utilising it for free. That tall lady at reception is not fit to work at fit4less.

This is probably the best Fit4Less you can find in Ottawa area. You will find one squat rack and two benches for bench press on the first floor. If you happened to have the black card membership, you will find more equipments like four squat racks on the second floor. The equipments are more than enough no matter if your goal is powerlifting, bodybuilding or just wanna stay healthy. Too bad that I live in nowhere near Kanata.

Google shows 10pm closing time but they are 24 hours open, they put stuff hours instead of real hours. Gym has amazing place for black card workout area, equipments are great condition. It has 2 story, second floor mainly for black card area but still very spacious place.

Not sure about others comments, but this new location is the the best fit 4 less I have seen so far! Everything is brand new, superb clean! Please keep it up

My favourite Fit4Less in Ottawa! Very spacious and very low traffic weight room in the morning.

One of the best and affordable gyms in Kanata South. Unless you are a pro lifter, there is everything you need for a decent work out.

It's a decent Gym for this price.

Some things that may improve though -
They used to have hand sanitizer before, now no sanitizing stations.

Also it would be great if the showers can still operate during unstaffed hours too.

Same for the massage chairs.

It’s a great gym. Jesse who works there is a complete eye catch lol people are friendly, and the gym is always clean. Great place.

Good little gym. Clean and well staffed. Great bang for the buck.
Update: all is good. Great equipment.

The people working there are incredibly rude. I forgot my pass and they didn’t let me in because I didn’t look my age. One worker in particular had a terrible attitude and should not be working in customer service. This experience has made me want to switch gyms.

Staff are not always there, shower is shut off and finally request to downgrade as I will be out of town and am still charged full amount and when I asked why they simply advise it’s a system. They did not honour the mistake to apology but blame the system. Totally not recommend

Good gym - but I've had 2 instances where my card doesn't work to sign in, and then I have to go back home and can't get into the gym. The next day, my card works fine. Also, there often isn't staff as per the advertised time as when there should be staff. For example, a few weeks ago I came at 8: 45AM on a Sunday (they are supposed to be staffed at 8am - 6pm), and my card didn't work (even though it worked the day before, and the next day). Someone went looking around for a staff member for me, couldn't find one because there wasn't one working, and then let me in though to disability door (which I appreciate because it sucks when you prepare yourself to go for a workout, just for you to be stopped at the door for a computer mistake).

Other than the card reader which I have had problems with, and other gym members here have had problems with, it's a decent gym at the price point.
