Fluent Moving & Storage

The guys at Fluent took great care of us. We moved from the GTA to Kawartha Lakes, and it was a little complicated because we needed Fluent to store our belongings for two nights before delivering them to us. No problem for Fluent! Also they moved fast and carefully. Not one thing was broken. Truly excellent service, the smoothest move we've every had.

Looking for long distance moves was quite stressful to begin with, mind you any move is stressful. From the get go Johnathan was very professional and accommodating, explained everting in detail and happy to answer any questions. Extremely reasonable and charged as quoted. Well my move just completed from downtown Toronto to 4 hours East.
Dean and Roy were beyond outstanding. Their knowledge and patience with me and my multiple stops completely took any stress and anxiety away from me and this move. Thank you again Fluent Movers and your wonderful team.

Our booking was done with Jonathan. He was helpful from start to finish, the booking lasted a couple months but my quote was honoured with no additional fees/costs. The movers were efficient and helped make our long distance move seamless, kept everything PRO from the start! I will do business with them again.

We booked Fluent Freight for our move from Toronto to Ottawa. We booked with Jonathan and he was very professional and easy to work with. In Toronto, we loaded with Ed and Vernon who were efficient and quick despite elevator issues. Ed took the time to wrap each piece and went above and beyond at our destination to ensure all items were placed correctly. We would recommend Fluent for any moving needs!

Best Moving Experience ever. I moved from Toronto to Montreal during winter, so my stress level was high but the team was extremely professional, nice and careful. They guys were working in a great mood and extremely fast, even though we were moving out from a Townhouse with many stairs and it was snowing at the time. I couldn't believe that they really have done it in the original estimated time. All my things arrived in perfect shape, I got message and phone calls about when the truck would be arriving and they were very punctual. During delivery they were so fast that they had some spare time so they asked if they could assemble some of my furniture (which was a great touch). The price was not far different from other companies with terrible reviews.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

Our team of movers were incredible. They were skillful, efficient and kind. What a combo. We are so grateful for their support, especially given the snow and the pandemic.

Couldn't have asked for a better move experience! From our initial conversations with Jonathan to our moving day, everything was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Our movers, Dave and Andre, were absolute stars — courteous, prompt, professional, kind — and went out of their way to make sure our belongings and new home were well taken care of. Jonathan was a wonderful coordinator and communicator, and the pricing is very fair (and very close to the original quote - no nasty surprises!) especially considering the high levels of service. Exceptional experience all around.

The crew driver called us on the day of move and arrived on time. They were professionals and without wasting time started the work. They handle the boxes carefully and loaded them with care. Same way, the stuff reached the destination on time and unloaded the items in the required rooms with care. Overall the work was done with great professionalism. I will recommend them for any kind of moves.

Estimate is a bit misleading. They should indicate explicitly the charge of moving the piano and pool table is not included in the cost estimate in the bottom.
Also the time to load and unload has exceeded their estimate. It would be good to the clients if they can guarantee the maximum variance in their estimate, so that the clients need not pay extra for the uncontrollable factors (such as the experience and diligence of the workers)

WOW! This was the first time I hired a moving company for a big move and I have to say that I am SO very pleased that we went with Fluent Moving & Storage. I expected to pay an astronomical amount - BUT the pricing was VERY fair and was exactly the amount estimated prior to hiring. I spoke with Johnathan to coordinate everything and he was very professional and personable. He was the reason I decided to go with Fluent rather than any other company we looked at. The movers were on time to the second! And very friendly, efficient, and did a bunch of extra work to fill the remaining hour (as you pay hourly) by hanging our clothes and moving things to storage for us. Furniture was disassembled and reassembled. I will DEFINITELY be hiring Fluent again if we ever decide to move again. Go with them, you will not be disappointed.:)

We had a great team working to do our move, Dave the driver was just the best. The move was long 6 hr drive and 3 hrs to load and 3 hrs to unload after the long drive, I work as a condo maintenance manager for 165
units and will recommend them to everyone that is moving out.

We moved from Toronto to Montreal at the end of October. I would say that our overall experience with Fluent Moving & Storage was very positive.

Jonathan, the main coordinator, was very easy to communicate with, and the movers were extremely fast. We had everything out of our 2-bedroom place in 1.5 hours or so. Their price was also fair - I had compared about 8-10 different companies in the GTA area - the quote that we got was very similar to our bill (because the loading/unloading time was just an estimate), and there were absolutely no surprises.

The only thing I would point out is that if you have a specialty item, such as an upright piano (like we did), maybe hiring a team of specialized movers to unload that item would be worth the cost. Fluent Moving was insightful enough to recommend an extra person at our destination. However, it was extremely hard for 4 men to carry our piano up the stairs (we had an elevator in our previous place, so it was no problem getting it out of there). I wish that I had hired a piano mover to hoist it up to our place.

But overall, our move went smoothly and I would use their services again if I had to. The fact that there were no surprises in our bill, good customer service, and fast loading/unloading time was exactly what we were looking for.

This is the second time I have used them. They hands down are the best, fom Jonathan to the drivers I would definitely and highly recommend this company. Prompt and professional. Cant say enough about them. Nothing but a great experience

We recently moved from Toronto to Windsor, Johnathan handled the process very well for us. We did a video conference call to make sure the initial estimate was correct, then they dropped off packing supplies and boxes at the house a couple of weeks before the move. On the day of the move they were late by a couple of hours, that said the crew led by Dave packed the truck pretty quickly. They were very professional, used lots of blankets and runners in the house to minimize dirt. The following day they arrived in Windsor and quickly unloaded all of our stuff, Again they were very clean, professional and courteous. I thought about giving them a four star rating because they were late the first day, but honestly the whole experience was very smooth and a great value so they five stars.

This was our 12th move across continents. Dave and his crew provided a very professional service, on time pick up and delivery. The crew was well trained about COVID precautious measurements, on time and supportive in the two days of work from Ottawa to Toronto.

I had to move from one town to another over the last weekend. Jonathan was the person who took my request and arranged everything very on time and smoothly. We were very pleased with our 4 movers who moved us from one home to another. We moved from a 3 bedroom bungalow into another 3 bedroom bungalow but after living in a home for 30 years we had accumulated a lot of things. Dave and Robert and the other 2 movers worked tirelessly and professionally. They dismantled furniture, wrapped everything to prevent scratches, and successfully put everything back together at the other end. They arrived at exsctly 8 am and were able to complete our move in one day. I really felt they went above and beyond in putting everything in place as I wanted it including disconnecting and reconnecting our washer and dryer. Our final cost was over our initial quote which i see is often an issue with this company.

Jonathon was very good during our initial contact; however, he did not make any contact with us after the move.

We booked Fluent Moving to relocate our son, daughter in law and granddaughter from a condo to their first home. From the initial quote request to the final box being moved Dean and his team provided excellent service. Despite our underestimating the amount of our sons contents they were able to get the move done without issue and with little stress on the young new home owners. Dean was very professional and accommodating, we highly recommend him and the team at Fluent.

Everything about Fluent was great, from the booking to the move the service was excellent. They were able to accommodate me at short notice, arrived on time and finished quickly. Would highly recommend!

I had a good service until the billing cycle where I was misinformed about the total amount being due.

After finishing their work, the movers confirmed the total amount I was going to be charged. However, the final amount was higher than what I was told.

I requested some clarifications regarding the variance and I was told I was going to get a call back. Never had any follow-ups since then.

Due to this experience, I can't say I would be retaining their services in the future.

This company really made my move smooth. I emailed them when I was looking for movers and Dean responded promptly. He answered all my questions either on the phone or email and gave me a quote which was almost exact when the job was completed. The movers Edgar and David were professional and hard working. They took such good care of my belongings and even put up with our crazy sense of humor. Thanks guys for all your help. I have recommended you to many people already.

Excellent. The 2 fellas who managed my move from Whitby to Sharbot Lake were very professional and demonstrated wonderful people skills! They are the reason I will use this service again.

I can't say good enough things about our move day. The three movers were hard working as individuals and as a team. The job was bigger than we thought it would be, but they took it all really well and worked with us to get it done in a day. We would hire Fluent again. Only I will have a better idea of what a move takes if we move again!

Have never needed a mover, I contacted many companies before settling on Fluent Moving & Storage. Jonathan was very helpful on the phone as my first contact, he outlined everything in detail, what was going to happen and what the charges would be. They followed up with me a couple days before the move, the truck arrived on time the Driver Edgar and Loaders were both very polite and worked hard to load the truck.
The move to the new house was 6 hours away Edgar contacted us about a half hour before his arrival we arrived and he and the loaders were just setting up the ramps to unload. Again everything went smooth Edgar and the Loaders were very polite, worked very hard unloading placing all the items where we wanted them.
In the end we had an issue with the payment, Dean looked after this for me and it was taken care of within a couple hours. The only other issue we had was some of our things had to be left behind the truck was just a little too small! No fault of Fluent as they sent the largest truck they had on my request.
I HIGHLY recommend Fluent Moving & Storage, they made my move painless from start to finish.

All the service provided by them is merely marvelous, whether it is moving home, relocating house or packing your items tried all the services and they are simply wow…!

I hate giving them even one star. I wish I could give them zero. They were late for pickup and for delivery. They lost our boxes and broke one of our speakers from our home system. Their loading and unloading was sporadic. Our credit card was charged before we saw the bill and the stuff was delivered and the amount they extracted was double their original quote. The interesting part is that the staff was bad mouthing the company and the tactics of the owner and gave us several examples of unhappy customers. Beware of them and give your business to someone deserving and honest.

The move itself was fine and started quickly but the energy level quickly was depleted as the day went on. We estimate we overpaid by about 90 minutes to 2 hours.
The crew was polite if less than fully motivated. A solid 3 is what this one deserves.

Best service at the reasonable price with the no hidden fees, and with great packaging and take care of your single items, feels delightful as being their customer.

Clean trucks, which always are on time with great drivers who delivered the products with zero damage and still be on time, indeed rejoiced their service.
