For The Halibut Fish & Chips

One of the best restaurants in town and the Halibut was the best I've had. Fresh, nicely battered and crispy.
The owners, Val abd Natasha are friendly and welcoming.
You will not be disappointed here!

Staff and services are on point. Food is tasty enough. Portions are good to go. Overall a nice enjoyable experience.

Stopped yesterday. Had the special- rainbow trout. It was exceptional. Buttery and tasty. The dill sauce was yummy. Best fish I've had in many years!

Great fish and chips and the staff were incredibly friendly. There made sure I had lots of condiments and everything I needed for my take out meal. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend going here if your in the area

Over-priced mediocrity at best. After tax, I paid $36.00 for 2pc of halibut & fries.take-out. Pricey I thought.but I was treating myself. The disappointment came when I opened the food at home to reveal 1 small portion of under-cooked fries. 2 packs of ketchup. 1 mini tartar sauce. 1 tiny portion of coleslaw. 1 sad tiny lemon wedge.and 0 Zero napkins. The part that hurt the most was the one sad lemon wedge - for 2pcs of over-priced fish. Nearly $40 should have warranted at least 2 lemon wedges - and some extra fries. I get that they're running a business.but the lack of respect for my hard earned cash guarantees I won't ever be wasting my money there again.nice enough folks.but portions are insulting.

The best fish and chips in the town. Having said that, what's even better is their service! Very considerate, got our pooch some water and some treats! Washrooms were very clean and they have some outdoor seating as well. I will be coming back here again

One of the best chowder's outside New England.and excellent fish and chips.but sadly serving the smallest dab of tartar sauce with such a nice piece of fish makes me sad. And at an extra buck for another tiny container it's the worst I've seen. I won't bother going to this place again. I don't have the options locally but get excellent fish and chips and better homemade taster at my local pub.

The coleslaw container should be taster sauce and a bigger container for slaw would be welcomed it's excellent slaw.

Lovely people and excellent food! Halibut sold out so we had haddock but the personal touch was fantastic and the fish and chips superb! Good prices in a lovely Canadian town.forests lakes fishermen and lumber!

Was at Bancroft visiting from Toronto with the family, stopped by this Amazing place for a bite, family loved the Halibut and Haddock. Got to speak with the owner- Natasha, over all just a great place, will definitely dine there, suggest people give this place a try. Also, got to see a beaver) by the small lake side sit out.

Food was available when expected (I had called ahead) and the fish and chips were great, fresh and not too fatty or oily. Reasonable portion size for the cost.
