I come here most Sundays with my puppy and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of food, toys and treats

I've been a customer for a few years now. Their staff are a bunch of beautiful people that genuinely care about animals. I got everything my hamster needed from them for 2 years and recently one of the employees helped me find the right food for an animal that I had just rescued but couldn't drop off at the shelter immediately. Really well-managed store, with a wide range of products and amazing customer service.

Most of the staff are great.always have the food I need.but it only takes one person to ruin your experience.and inspire you to never return.some staff could be friendlier

This has been my go to place to buy items for my dog for years now and I appreciate greatly the warm and friendly service and the excellent array of products. During this pandemic era, so many small businesses have struggled — I have admired the way this local store has provided optimal service while keeping everyone safe and adhering to public health directives to a T. A great place to shop for your family pets.

Great selection, but poor customer service. Unlike other local businesses who offer immediate curbside assistance, Global Pet Foods requires customers to go online to place an order, then wait for staff to "get to it", which can take more than one day, defeating the purpose of buying from a physical neighbourhood store. I am considering asking for a refund and buying my food elsewhere. The same products are available immediately from other local retailers who are happy to help customers promptly, as well as from online companies, and delivery does not take any longer than waiting for Global Pet Foods staff members to get to it. I do not feel that management appreciates my efforts to shop local nor my business.

My name is Erin. I shop at this global pets all the time. They know my Mischa and her crazy eating habits and are always quick to offer new food options and they always have her favourites in stock. They are wonderfully accommodating and always super nice, even during these incredibly trying times. It’s comforting to have a reliable place to feed my baby! I couldn't be happier with the service I receive each time me and my furball visit this location. I use the curbside pick up and will often call beforehand for advice. I am always greeted with knowledgeable, patient and friendly staff, who offer a positive experience during a time that is difficult for so many. This is my first dog and I thank Global Pet Foods for helping me be a better and more knowledgeable owner. Thank you to the staff, I am so grateful! See you very soon.

Is it a little pricey. Sure. Do they care and meticulously source their products. Yes. Do I really like the lady that owns the place. Absolutely. She's really nice and the folks that help run the place are all really helpful and kind and it's a huge effort on their part that keeps the place going. This is honestly a neighborhood spot. Go. Don't go. My pets are my responsibility and the value here is undeniable.

Staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Their customized service approach is always appreciated. Will order items just for you that aren't otherwise sold in the store. Always well stocked and clean.

TAKES REALLY GOOD CARE OF CUSTOMERS & VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THE PRODUCTS
I am always so impressed by how much knowledge the manager has with the products in the store. You ask her about any items, she will provide key points of the product ensuring that the customer makes a right decision to purchase. She even suggests to bring back the item to the store if the purchase is not suitable for your pet. Also staffs there are very warm and friendly. If there is an issue, they look at the problem individually and solve by the case even if it can bend the store policy slightly. Also they explain to let the customer understand their reasoning.
If necessary to refund or exchange, they will not drag on with questions, they will accept right away with no hassle. All staffs really know how to build a good genuine relationship with customers which make us wanting to be their regular.
Recently I had an incident with raw meat that was purchased at a different location. My dog was getting sick from the food that she normally eats, so I tried to get a refund or a credit. The other location gave such a hard time and repeating about how it's their store policy to not refund or exchange on raw meat. I ended up not getting a refund or a credit. However, out of a curiosity, I told the situation to this location and without any hesitation, they offer a refund. I took the food and the receipt and they fully refunded and as I mentioned, it took no time to do this transaction.
Another good thing about the store is, they always introduce/test out new products to improve what they carry in the store. My little dog gets to try all sorts of good different treats because of it.
Generally you can really feel the positive vibe in the store and staffs seem to enjoy their job. Thanks for always welcoming us!

Always buy dog treats for Millie.my office dog.she also loves this place and when my boss brings her to our office. I take her here.and they give her treats too.
