Amazing staff and very helpful. Not pushy at all. They dont force you to buy expensive. They go by your budget and animal. If they think the cheaper option is just as good, they'll tell you. VERY helpful.

BE AWARE IF YOU SHOP HERE THEYRE TRYING TO MAKE A SALE NOT OFFER BETTER FOOD OR EQUIPMENT! THIS HAS BEEN MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OVER 3 YEARS.

2023 UPDATE!: I'm updating my review and lowing my rating to one star. Even after THREE YEARS I walked in to buy dog food the other day and heard the man, who I think is the store owner, inform an owner that his wife was WRONG and he SHOULD feed his dog pork table scraps because it's "good for him". The man tries to explain his wife and a VETERINARIAN said that feeding a dog table scraps was bad and the STORE OWNER said again, "no don't listen to them that's sorta stuff is good for the dog"
Are you out of your mind? ! You don't know if that dog has an allergy or some type of health condition the extra FAT and SALT from human cooking could make worse.
I'm so disappointed in this store and if it wasn't convenient and close I wowouldn't go. Also my food cost has gone up $3 in 2 years and I was recommended and sold and extremely hard to use car gate, that sits in your trunk, that I would NOT recommend to ANYONE!

2020: Against better juedgement bought a different brand of bird food as per worker recommendation. My bird nearly died of a calcium deficiency because the diet that was recommended didn't have sufficient nutrients and was a "blend. "
I'll continue to buy my regular food there but their staff clearly have no education in pet nutrition.

Rude older white man working here disregarded me when I asked a question. Beyond disrespectful.

I've always enjoyed shopping at this store. The staff are amazingly helpful and always ready to give a hand, whether it's a carry out or giving advice. My dog recently passed away and they were very supportive and kind when I went in to donate some gently used items for Rescue. I'm going to miss them all. Thank you for years of great service!

I used to go to Global Pets in my old neighbourhood in Toronto and I always liked it there, so naturally I had high expectations for this branch. But honestly the staff here have been even more friendly and helpful, and the store is so spacious and always has everything that I need. I love that they often host events for their customers and pets, with lots of freebies. A staff member is also always readily helping me take feed bags or cat litter out to my car - I truly feel valued and cared for. I will be going nowhere else if I can help it!

I don't know the name of the young woman who assisted me at the Bridge and University shop (she was there from the Laurentian Plaza location) but she was excellent! Made really great recommendations to me without any pressure to buy. My little dog is feeling much better thanks to this young lady's knowledge and help.

This place is amazing. The staff here are always so helpful. I have been going to this store for 12 years and they've always made great suggestions for helping me with my dog's digestive issues and later his old dog issues. I recently lost my fur baby and contacted the store to let them know. They were so kind and empathetic. Stacey, Mary & Ian are wonderful people and.they've got a great selection of food, treats and other products for your fur babies.

Always a lovely visit here. The staff are so happy, helpful and kind. My dog always pulls me here when we are on walks.
