Unprofessional gym and management. Do not be fooled by the reviews- A lot of the five star reviews are written by friends of the employees that work there. How are towels never gonna be available for people who literally PAY for towel service… every time you ask for a towel: “oh we’re out of towels right now it’s gonna be twenty minutes” literally take you’re money some place else. Also will cancel classes at the very last minute- no apology no notice they don’t even have the courtesy to tell you at the front desk when they see you coming in for the class. You don’t get the services you pay for. Go to lifetime or fit4less or Anytime or something. This location is big but dirty af washrooms especially never clean. One toilet in the women's washroom has been broken for about 7 months? Cheap management. Some treadmills don’t work. The employees are all kids and teens and I think management wants to be liked because he/she won’t tell em to clean or reorganize weights or do anything other than socialize at front desk. The upstairs rooms look like they've never been vacuumed there are are dust bunnies on the floor- will add pictures later.

The shower area is bad.it feels like you shower naked, especially if someone is in the shower next to you.

I spent two days with these wonderful people! The staff here are full of energy and so kind it made my heart full! If you are looking for good vibes and a great workout environment.this is the place for you! Thank you for being so nice and bringing constant smiles to my face!

I went to goodlife with a lot of hope and I found Mr Arian (a personal trainer at Goodlife Fitness). He guided me to the perfect plan for my fitness regime and I opted for his professional expertise. He is a gem of a personal who assisted me in utmost professional capacity. His guidance towards the meal plans and fitness plans were amazing and his flexibility did me a great deal of good! I recommend Goodlife Fitness in great regard and if you are wanting to look good, look out for Mr Arian.

This is the gym if you really want to workout and see progress. Huge space but let’s not take my word. Trying to keep busy times down.

First day after signing in I walk in and got my card got me picture taken but no bags? I was told 2-3 weeks for bags?

(I accidentally posted this review to another GoodLife Fitness club. It is actually intended for Yomi and Ethan at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.)
I had a few inquiries regarding the gym. Yomi, the General Manager and Ethan the Assistant Manager listened and quickly responded. They listened to my concerns and we had a good conversation regarding the issues. Then they promptly resolved them.
I really appreciated their attentiveness and quick response.
Keep up the excellent work in running the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre gym, Yomi and Ethan!

I have a been a member since 2008, this location has very good instructors like Lucja P, Genevieve B, and Josie R. The front desk Shanice W, and Shameem H are very helpful, and so are the management. Yomi is well mannered, helpful, and caring. He is one of the best managers I know, and I hope Yomi and all the staff stay in this location. Thank you all!

Very nice location and has tons of equipment and space. The trainers and employees are very kind and helpful.

The woman’s sauna in this facility has been broken for 2 months now, as a paying member, I pay for these amenities, it shouldn’t take 2 FULL MONTHS for something to get fixed. Bad management.

Gym is very dirty in comparison to multiple locations i’ve visited.

I will give one star for now for the simple fact that none of the other 2 Goodlife Fitness' within the exact same area are 24 hours to make up for the fact this spot has been closed for 2 weeks.

Both the Highway 7/ Keele and Weston/ Northview open at 6am on weekdays effecting a decent amount of people who need to go to the gym earlier than 6am.

Burst pipes happen, but atleast offer a viable alternative for everyone. This is more a star for Goodlife than this location in particular, but it is what it is.

They need to assign a few educated reception in the front desk, so they know how to communicate with the members.

As of February 15,2023 Club is closed and nobody providing any information about reopening. Nobody answers the phone, no message with information, no information on website.

Unprofessional staff, so many kids with no experience with personal trainer shirt working at this location. Aways in groups chatting and not worrying about the client! They walk around the gym as if they owner it. Sauna doesn't work, bathrooms stinks bad management, bad customer service.

Very bad trainers. Extremely rude. Very unprofessional. I expected alot better from goodlife fitness.
Please train your staff or change them.

This place/management needs to get it together. There's been a serious decline in the last 5 months or so. Good equipment is moved/altered without any reason and whatever is broken stays that way. I've been at thos facility for almost a decade and it's the closest I've been to cancelling my membership.

I met this amazing manager named Gaurav. He’s very relaxed, talks confidently, friendly and amazing with customers. He’s the reason why I come here. Someone promote this man!

To whom it may concern,
Sorry, but disappointed in the condition the gym is in, washroom are dirty, as well for gym floor, broken lockers, out dated equipment, weights all over the floor.
Staff is satisfactory, not energetic, just standing around or talking each other.
Being a member here for over 10 years, should take a look at other locations, like Milani and hwy 27, very clean and organized, staff is vibrant and helpful.

I’ve been to many other GoodLife gyms throughout the GTA and aside from the Yonge and Finch location, the layout and customer service has been terrible at all of them. I want to especially thank Namik for going out of his way to make me feel welcome after hearing about my horrible experience at the Major Mac and Weston location.

Been my gym for about 3 years now. Best GoodLife in the GTA, friendly staff, friendly members, always feel at home in the gym

Overall, this is a beautiful gym! It's a shame that it's not being well taken care of though. I go around 12pm - 2pm and the weights are always a mess and unorganized. 10s with 25s with 45s sandwiched in between. Organizing the gym becomes half your workout. Almost every workout.

Wish there was a bit of a better layout, the free weights are almost always crowded by men because the benches are in front of it.
Not much space in the weights area to do exercises that aren't stationary esp with everyone crowded in one area, you need to carry some weights to another section.

Staff will ignore you but what else is new. Seems like all goodlife staff members have social anxiety!

VERY OFTEN - the spray bottles or paper towel are out.at multiple stations. There's been times where I walked around and gave up because I couldn't find a one! They have a sign that says "please tell the front desk if we're out". Like you guys can't make one round around the gym once a day to check? I know you don't because I go everyday and it's never filled. Doesn't matter though because no ones cleaning anyways since it's not being enforced.

Women's change room - nice and clean
bathroom - seats and doors just look worn down, may need to be replaced, never used the showers but I don't think they're great by the looks of it

Dropped by for a workout at 7am on a Sunday. My home gym is at Bell Trinity Square - I'll use that as reference.

This location is massive compared to my home gym and offers free parking.

The only equipment that is essential to my workout is a squat rack - which this location has 5 available. Not that busy on a Sunday morning so I didn't have to wait or share. If you don't shower at the gym - come to lift and be on your way, then you will have no issues at this location.

Nice and spacious - with plenty of equipment. I think the layout is simple and organized.

The locker area and showers are not maintained. 2 of 3 showers I tried did not have hot water and the water pressure is inconsistent. I spotted mold and rust. The locker and shower floor areas are quite dirty compared to Bell Trinity - I walk around in white slides and the bottom of my slides picked up tons of dirt. The towel I got had spots and stains on it.

With that being said, because of the free parking and squat racks, I would not hesitate to come back. I'll just shower at home.

I've been going to this location on a regular basis since it was an Extreme Fitness so I well familiar with the layout and location even though it has been owned by Goodlife for years.

I trained today Saturday April 2 for the 1st time since cov shutdown. The cleanliness and maintenance of the men change rooms is atrocious! I walked in and the 2 garbage bins near the sinks were literally over flowing with used paper towels, 2 of the 3 urinals.were out of commission with one also literally over flowing with urine. Absolutely repulsive. I informed the front desk of the issues but they been closed for how many.months with ample time to fix any repairs needed.

The bottle.fill fountain in the main gym is out of order with a sign saying use locker room fountain however locker room fountain also out of commission.

The shower curtains are the cheap dollar store curtains with mildew on them in numerous spots. The handle for the shower is also busted.

Goodlife has received an interest fee look in the 300+ million by Canadian tax dollars and this is the terrible condition they have their facilities in.

Unacceptable!

Massive gym. Great during not peak hours. Not sure how it is after 6 pm

Dissapointed that the hours are no longer 24/7
I am being charged nearly $100 a month and getting poor value for the money.i could pay less else where and get similar experience. Highly hoping that management addresses this foolish move and doesnt decide to make it permanent because of the good old excuse “covid made us do it”.

The staff at this gym are nice people & the equipment is fine. But GoodLife is a "24/7" gym for which I pay a high membership fee expecting 24/7 access. This is the last gym in the area that used to be 24/7 which now changed their hours to be terrible on the weekend and strangely the membership price has not gone down despite none of the gyms being 24/7 anymore.

Members were not notified of this change to the gym hours, and I learned this when I showed up to work out later after I finished work by finding a "24/7" gym closing at 11 PM.

Are you considering looking for a 24/7 gym? Look else where, I know I will be.

It kills me to say this because rating your main gym high tends to make it tad bit busier, but it’s honestly the best gym I’ve ever been too. Staff is friendly. No complaints whatsoever!

Staff is doing a great job and friendly. They don't make the rules, so you can't be upset with them. Club is always clean. One of the best clubs in the GTA.

24 hr gym - great for those who are night owls. Felt safe to work out there late. It was surprisingly busy but still comfortable to get your routine done without waiting.

Unfortunately the club is not listening to members in requesting more RPM and body pump classes and others classes remain unfilled. Difficult to get a class - worth exploring other options

Come here often to use the sauna. I wasn't aware my membership didn't have towel service because everytime I've come to the front desk they've never given me a problem about it. Staff is usually great but the lady behind the counter gave me a hard time about asking for a towel tonight. She ended up making me feel pretty bad that I didnt have Towel service and proceeded to deny me a towel. I'll probably head to the other goodlife by my house instead.

Terrible service to YYZ members turned away from this club during COVID even though we had an all-locations membership. Staff gave zero care towards Goodlife members and cancelled bookings 45 mins prior to scheduled workout. Tuned away at the door without any remorse. Membership cancelled the next day as they don't treat customers right. Goodlife is an absolute joke and the staff at this location are downright rude.

I was finishing my last set.and guy came and stopped me to finish! Seriously how long does it take to count 1-8.seriously man

Great space to work out. Decent variety of machines and equipment. The only thing that this gym is missing is the rope attachment for the cable machine.

I worked out at vaughan metropolitan centre and barrie.the team in barrie were constantly cleaning.supplies filled i felt safe.very different at interchange way.no one was cleaning, a few stations did not have spray to wipe down machines, aone of the wipes dispenser was empty, another one was stuck could not get wipes out.
I have been a member for over 15 years, I love working out at goodlife, but the club at interchange way needs to drastically improve covid19 measures, you guys are missing the mark

Had a call on August 2nd to address some concerns and attempt to make account changes to other users connected to my corporate account. Kelly took the extra steps required to make sure that all the concerns were met. Also visited the location that week after the location had first opened for booked sessions and the whole staff team was very professional and attentive

Agreed people were walking around without masks, I asked the front desk man to warn them, they both said ok nothing happened, forget about wiping, 93% of covid is transfered through breath and in enclosed spaces the droplets take 10 mins to settle, not recommending for older crowd.

Staff here are really friendly and the personal trainers are really nice. Amenities are clean and the lockers rooms are large and spacious

They charged my account a few months after membership was canceled.

Best GoodLife location in Vaughan. In fact, one of the nicer ones I’ve visited in the GTA. Well kept, clean facility and rarely busy in the mornings. Friendly staff as well.

Great fitness club, friendly staff members, tons of equipment, large space, lots of sunlight, big parking lot.
The only downside is just two toilet stalls in the men's change room. For the amount of members in peak hours this might not be enough.

This location can be much better than it currently is.

Good: a lot of squat racks and bench press benches. Spacious with an open space concept. Staff is nice.

Bad: no turf area.only one TRX band that is locked away in the personal training room. Plates are mostly the hexagon plates which suck and some new round plates which are very hard to find. Plates are very unorganized. No new lifting platforms available. All the bands and foam rollers are only found in the personal training room.

Gym is spacious with a good mix of free weights, racks, machines and cardio equipment.
Staff are very nice and easy going and willing to give pointers or just have casual conversation between sets.
Facilities are well kept and very clean compared to other gyms I have been to. Showers are very clean, and spacious compared to other gyms.
Sauna is rarely down which is a nice to have as some gyms there are constantly under maintenance.
Personal training staff and manager are awesome and really give you tailored workouts to your goals.
Overall good gym atmosphere and would recommend from anyone from just starting out to looking to get a good lift in.

The best GoodLife in GTA. It’s usually empty which is a good thing. Between 6-9 pm is very crowded. I’d recommend to come here who lives nearby.

Been going here for about two months and it is by far my favourite Goodlife location. Yes, some people don't put weights away, but that seems to be a normal issue at gyms this size. There has been a noticeable effort on the part of the staff to clean up the weights away and educate clientèle on appropriate gym etiquette. Spoke with the GM recently and he was fantastic! He is aware of the issue with some of the people who come to this gym and I have noticed first hand that he is trying to change the atmosphere to one that is inclusive and safe for everyone to enjoy.

Very professional, honest, they take pride in their name and represent the company as if it of their company. Very helpful and treat everyone with respect. The facility has all the equipment for a full workout and some.

Can be a hassle to get to just because of the insane traffic and construction around it. However, the gym itself is top notch - the facility is spacious and has all the amenities a gym could offer you. Sometimes it gets quite busy but that is how all gyms are.

The receptionists are very unfriendly and unpleasant they look at you as if they did not want you to enter the gym, you have to take your towel yourself because they are looking at their phone all the time and sometimes they look up when someone enters and they continue to look at their phone without caring for the client. If they worked for me I would dismiss them without thinking twice. I will cancel my membership, I will go to the competition.

Been to a few gyms (not just goodlife) but this specific location has a poor layout as well as staff AND members not doing their part to put back weights in the appropriate spot lol. A guy can try to lift 110lb dumbbell, use it, then leave it at the 25lb area; its ridiculous. Front staff is nice but overall 3/5 star. Weights are never where they are suppose to be, either left in the wrong place or left on a bar leaving people to assume someone is still working there. Educate your Vaughan clientele about how to keep a gym clean for one another and this place will succeed.

UPDATE: I can see that no rules are being maintained in the gym. A regular offender buds into other people's workout without even asking to work in; just starts doing his own thing even though you are waiting to use YOUR machine. This dude doesnt even wear workout shoes and is in slides. What a joke that proper gym attire isn't implemented here.

The best GoodLife location in my opinion. Friendly front staff, high ceilings, equipment always fixed quickly, and lots of benches and squat racks. Compared to other GoodLife locations, this one always make sure there are towels in stock.

Great gym and vibe. Lost my watch at this location but management kept it in their post and found and managed to keep it safe

Really not impressed with the personal service. Had couple of requests over weekends with no help from front desk.
I was almost assaulted by a disturbed member who left a pair of shirts stuck into the sauna protection cage. I enter the space and found the shirts stuck in the grill above the heating elements, thus I pulled down it. The weirdo came back from shower and he almost assaulted me for taking down his pants.tried to avoid any confrontation with the guy and I rushed out to report it. I asked one of front desk guys to join me and to get back and explain to this lost guy why is wrong to dry his pants on a dry sauna! The front desk guy told me he cant do that and also he told me he knows the disturbed guy as many others complained. Basically the answer was " give me a break"
This place is great as space and equipments but the personnel is low and useless.

Went to this location on Saturday. Was greeting by an amazing woman who was friendly and had a huge smile on her face. The space is huge with tons of variety.
We loved it to much that we went back on Sunday and the experience was totally different. There was no one at the front desk when we came. The gym was messy with weights and towels left everywhere which clearly were not being used as I was at the gym for over an hour and everything was still in the same spot. Non of the weights are organized in order.
There was no one at the juice bar. Not sure if it’s opened on Sundays.
I had misplaced my rings in the locker and have been trying to get in contact with the gym and the phone lines are always busy. If someone knows a way I can get in contact with anyone at this location please let me know.
As the rings I lost is a family ring that my grandmother gave to me and an anniversary ring my boyfriend had gifted me as well.

Small club and has some older equipment. Still has the old spin bikes and there does not seem to be a ton of class options. Has a Juice bar though which is nice, with fairly priced shakes when you get the featured one of the day

This gym is incredible. The instructor Melissa at the Sunday class at 11 am was incredible. I really enjoy the workout and the sauna. Shower was amazing as well. The juice bar is relatively busy - got a $5 ripped raspberry juice and it’s delicious

The customer service at the front desk is pretty lacking, most times I don't even get a hello. The towels here are the worst of any GoodLife I have been to, they're like sandpaper. The change rooms are always dirty, seems like they are only cleaned once a day. On the plus side they have three power racks and usually the wait is not too long to get one.
