Heritage Fish and Chips

I've been going here ever since it came into our area.
Great fish and chips and great people there.
Go there, you will love it.

Just ate lunch here. The owner of this place is very friendly and service oriented. The food was great and I would definitely go back! Not often you come across a food business that shows they care about their customers. Well done.

Went in on a Friday lunchtime place was empty red flag right away, owner totally ignored us while he took romaine lettuce unwashed from the bag and chopped it up into a bowl so gross.
Then he take frozen chicken and puts it in the microwave unwashed couldn’t believe what I was seeing, I finally asked him for fish and chips and onion rings. He gave a generous portion of 3 pieces but they were soaked in Grease yuk. Onion rings were good but the same. Now I know why it’s empty health inspection needed urgently, as the 3 of us were violently sick a few hours later.
Body swerve at all cost people.

The fish at chips at Heritage are always great as is their service. I've dropped a star this review because of their creamy coleslaw. It's been a while since I've been to this site and it seems they've changed their coleslaw recipe, which was normally fine. This time it was barely edible. We threw out the rest of it. I think I'll just stick with just the fish and chips next time.

I thought the service was awesome.fiod was affordable.was not a fan of their lunch fish and chip special.

My kids really love this place. The fish is cooked fresh and there’s no smell of oil or any additives. They portion out decent with fries. I just wish the price for the fish was more affordable or the sizing was a bit bigger to meet the tummy/wallet affordability scale

Pricey.like everything these days, but food good. I wish the employees would clean tables after the customers leave. We sat at our tabke and clean it somewhat ourselves. Wiping greasy marks would be nice. Food was great.

I can’t believe I just discovered this location it’s been around for 6 years apparently lol. Anyways Melina makes the fish to perfection. The location is clean and perfect for a quick meal. We had the haddock, halibut, chips and green salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and super soft and moist inside. Highly recommend this location.

I went to this shop not expecting anything exciting just normal fish and chips but I got amazing service from front of house to the wonderful cooks in the back and the cod and chips were amazing clean fresh oil not overly battered and fresh tasty chip’s definitely my got to fish Friday shop

Staff was very pleasant.
Food was over cooked, flavourless… tasted like old oil was used
Portion size was large.unfortunately didn’t even eat half.
Should of said something but didn’t… it was a young girl working there… she was busy … probably won’t return though

PLEASE SEE ABOUT WASHROOMS I COULD SMELL IT IT DINNING AREA ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT SOMETHING NOT RIGHT WITH PLUMING

Just wanted to share my experience. Anytime we are are in the need for fish and chips, we head over to Heritage on Derry Rd. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is efficient and staff always friendly. I give it a 5 star and keep up the good work!
