Worst experience ever, waited over 36 minutes, to be told sorry your take out order will be ready soon. Worst service ever!

Great food, service, and location across from Little Lake and Marina. A very nice outdoor patio.

Food and service were excellent
Eggs were cooked as requested
An excellent breakfast

The food was so good. I got the Chicken and Ribs combo with coleslaw and sweet potato fries on the side. I do not regret this, and this was my first time here.

The chicken and ribs were well seasoned and well cooked. Tender and juicy, it went well with the honey-garlic sauce. The coleslaw was fresh and tasted good. The sweet potato fries were so crunchy and yummy.

Surprisingly, this whole plate cost less than $30. Neat environment, a lovely aesthetic, a friendly waiter, and quick food preparation.

I finally stopped by Jack's in Peterborough. I've been to the Norwood location where the food is fantastic. I was really impressed not only was it clean but the staff were courteous friendly and eager to serve. I had the Halibut fish & chips and it was hot fresh, light and crispy. Take it from a lover of Halibut you will not be disappointed. I will definitely go back soon! If you can, get your flu shot or Booster and let's protect each other!

Our first time in Peterborough but we are quite familiar with the Lakefield location.

D and another friend K would suggest their meals were 5 star efforts.
Mine was a completely different experience, unfortunately, had the festive special. The chicken was fine. The stuffing was kinda scary in appearance and even more so regarding taste.
The baked potato, great in size was wasn't quite cooked enough.
I enjoyed the dessert, sorry forgot the name of it. D had the salmon on the caesar salad and was more than pleased.
Can't recall K's choice of dinner but was also pleased. Wondered if it was the regular chef on this Monday night.

. Nearly every Friday morning I leave Port Hope and go to Jacks for breakfast. Best western sandwich anywhere. Their onion rings are out of this world. Service is superb, friendly and waitresses are super. Prices are reasonable. I recommend this restaurant for any meal

Its been a long time since I've enjoyed a meal so much! Food was great! It was busy (lunch rush) but our drinks were refilled when needed, and we all enjoyed our meals.

Worst garlic scallops I’ve ever had. Would never try this restaurant again. The liquid was blue in colour. Ordered through Y-Drive Peterborough Total waste of money, don’t recommend this restaurant

Found the place just by looking online for options in Peterborough. The all you can eat special on Tuesdays intrigued us.

My son asked that we out a 5 star review. He can be picky and was raving about the mashed potatoes and he also tried a bit of the fish and chips.

I believe everything is made fresh and from scratch. Everything came piping hot. Wish we could have utilized the nice patio, but it just finished raining when we got there.

Service can be slow at times, but we were also trying to make a movie. Will come back as the family wishes.

Friendly service. Decent food, somewhat small menu, but it's pretty clear it's primiarly a fish and chips kinda place. Prices were reasonable, but service was a little slow at the lunch rush.

Inside had a classic 80's feel. Everything seemed clean.

We found it ok lakefeild onion tings were better hubby had all day breakfast eggs wete cool home fries not cooked enough not great i had the jacks burger was ok baton was burnt and burger was a little scorched service was ok started off good but by end of meal not so good. We would still go back just order different food

My waitresses was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to have serving us. People like her are a major asset to any food service industry.
The food however, was the worst l have eaten in Peterborough since the Piccadilly closed their doors on Landsdown Street.
The fries were stuck together. Under fried, and having not been shacken while cooking, soaked in grease. In fact they were not even cooked!
The fish, l ordered hailibit, was so old. It was not only dry and hard; it was completely tasteless. Reminded me of leather.
My coleslaw was a poor excuse for food. It compromised uneditable portions of the heart of cabbage, and no colour.at first l thought it was a mistake, giving me the garbage.
I am not going back anytime soon.

Wow. What a place. It's a great family place to eat. Portions are large, and the food was all fantastic. All our fish/chips were nice and crispy and not greasy (as others had claimed). Will definitely be returning.

The service was amazing, the staff was genuine and very kind. The chowder I had however was not good, too much salt, over cooked, and looked awful. Wish I could be more positive cause it's a nice place but that was not a seafood chowder that would hold up anywhere near the cost.

Service started of not Great. Stand for about 5 minutes b4 anyone came to attend to is while line up getting longer.though server was great
