Do not go here! Try any other doctor. Dont listen to the fake positive reviews. Takes months to schedule an appointment. When you arrive they will tell you that they rescheduled to a few days in the past and didnt confirm or ask you if thats okay. Rude receptionist, rude staff, useless at basic scheduling. Very proud of their own incompetence. Refuses to reschedule in person, has to be booked by the gp?

If they cant figure out basic scheduling imagine how bad they are at medicine.

Google 'patient complaint ohip' and file a complaint asap to get doctors like this removed from the ontario health system. Until they fire their receptionist they are risking the lives of patients by lying to them about availability, instead of just sending them to better doctors.

Don't be discouraged by the bad reviews. Read this one in full.

The medical service itself is top notch: Dr. Nick McFarlane is capable, experienced, courteous, takes time to explain the issue, and what options you have, books tests/procedures as well as followup appointments on time.

The one time I had an appointment but the doctor could not make it due to him doing surgery that day, the office called ahead of time so I don't drop by, and told me that the doctor will call me in the afternoon. He did call, and was very polite and informative, explained things in detail, and scheduled the test that needed to be done, and all was good.

While I do understand the reason for the bad reviews for this clinic, they are more about administrative aspects, and not the doctors themselves.

The main issue is that the phone menu structure is not user friendly. If you can't reach the assistant for your doctor, just hangup and try again. They will eventually answer. Just keep trying during office hours (but not lunch hour).

When I raised the phone issue with the doctor, and his reasons were convincing. The load on the urology doctors is high because there is supposed to be more doctors for the Kitchener-Waterloo area, but that is not the case. This causes the doctor to work 12 hour days. If they enable leaving messages they end up with 100 messages in the morning, and there is no way to wade through all of them.

Our patient went to hospital by ambulance.becoz of kidney stone an severe infection. Doctor bypass the stone and try to drain infection.after a week they released from hospital and after a week again we had to call an ambulance and admitted to hospital from same problem, after couple days hospital released to hospital again. After a week again we had to call an ambulance again from same problem. One patient shouldn't go to hospital from same problem 3 times.

Dr Cybulski was fantastic. I suffered a serious kidney infection in the past and he took care of me from start to finish running all the necessary tests. He was very thorough and didn't leave any stone unturned in my case. I've seen many doctors in the past for various reasons but this Dr probably took the most time and care to rule out all possible conditions pertaining to my kidney infection including more serious diseases. Recommend you ask for Dr Cybulski if you have urology issues.

The Office is excellently trained for not answering the phones, what can you do? Nothing, you have to be at their mercy, if they decided to answer the phone, then you are lucky, if not, you better drive to their office on Manitou Dr.be polite to the med.secretary, be humble, bend your waist and beg to see the Urology specialist.

I had an appointment with Dr Lee and was apprehensive about it after reading the reviews however, I found that my experience was very pleasant. The staff were hard working and helpful. Dr Lee was running late but did not rush through my appointment to try and make up time. He was thorough and laid out options so we could make a care plan together.
After the appointment I received an email notification outlining the date, time and preparation steps for my next appointment. This is very convenient.
While I was waiting I overheard the receptionist deal with 2 different belligerent patients on the phone. She handled the situation with grace while holding her ground and upholding office policies. After the phone calls the other receptionists were supportive of their colleague. It seems as though patients have forgotten there is a human on the other end of the line.
The poor reviews below are a result of patients having unrealistic expectations of a specialist office in comparison to a family medicine practice.
