I love everything about this gym! The vibes, the cleanliness, the aesthetic and the staff are very approachable and helpful. Definitely a steal with these cheap prices!

Overall this is a half decent gym. The showering area needs some refreshing.
I had a lot of issues with changing or cancelling my membership plan.
This is a revolving door for staff members. Good luck finding people to take care of you. Staff is not trained properly to answer your question or at least guide you to the right direction or persons.
In a nutshell, this is a corporate that wants to sell you membership or training and then you are on you own after signing up.

I went to the gym for the second time as a guest, but they stopped me and said I needed to talk to our consultants. I spoke to a person named KAMIL who did not give me the original price of the club and offers, and wanted to take the highest possible cost from me. After extensive conversation and mentioning that the club environment and equipment are old and dirty, he offered me an entrance fee of $4 with a monthly fee of $45. This offer was supposed to be for everyone from the beginning, and he said to contact him for anything with his phone number. I entered at 7 o'clock, and overall, compared to other clubs, the club environment has a much lower status. I stayed there until 10 o'clock when I wanted to use the bathroom and sauna, but it was no longer acceptable due to dirtiness and malfunction (I have attached pictures). I went to cancel it, but Kamil was not there, so I told the lady in charge to cancel my registration. She said she would leave a message as she didn't have access. I immediately messaged Kamil to cancel it. The next day, Kamil replied late, saying you were late; your money will be refunded within 7 days. After 15 days passed, I called and messaged Kamil several times but received no response. I also contacted the club, but they said they couldn't do anything as the manager would contact me. No one has responded so far, and approximately $176 has been withdrawn from my account. Under no circumstances should you go here or else you will lose your money and time.

I've been doing personal training classes with Anthony for the last 6 months and it has been amazing. Not only is he great in the gym, pushing me to work harder, but he has also helped me improve my eating habits to see more success at the gym.

A few months ago, I joined LA Fitness for the first time. During my initial visit, I brought along a friend, assuming that I had guest privileges. However, we were stopped before entering, which wasn't an issue. What really struck me as strange was when another employee gave us a one-week free pass, which we attempted to use. We had to register my friend as a guest, and the person assisting us, Phey, displayed a lot of attitude by rolling her eyes and making unnecessary comments. Despite the pass not being expired, we were inexplicably denied entry. So, we contacted my friend's brother, who had the guest pass, to let her in. Once again, Phey halted us and did everything possible to waste our time by spending 10 minutes registering her as guest under his name. I had been coming as a guest prior to when I got my membership for months without encountering these extra steps, and I never knew that entering this gym was more difficult than getting tickets to a Michael Jackson concert.

A few months later, my friend and I returned to the gym, only to be stopped on our way out by guess who. PHEY. She accused us of vaping in the washroom, even though we weren't. I did have my vape in my hands, but I always respect others' boundaries and wouldn't smoke in a washroom. I don't know why Phey has a personal vendetta against me but its genuinely depressing that she has to find a reason to scold me every time she see's me in the gym. I'm here to work out, not to get a lecture from my mother.

Very impressed! I had the pleasure of working with trainer Vynnessa, my expectations were exceeded. Vynnessa was very professional and knowledgable. I asked many questions and she made sure that I was satisfied with all the information she provided. We discussed my goals; the best way achieve them and a realistic time frame of the process. I really enjoyed the personalized approach Vynnessa took when catering exercises specific for me. I would highly recommend Vynnessa whether you are a seasoned athlete like me or if it is your first time stepping into the gym.

I love this place. Its clean, never too crowded, friendly staff and trainers. With pool and sauna - all you need to work out and relax afterwards.

We love this LA in Aurora! Super fun group that went all through covid when it was open. Hardcore group ️️

Great equipment, the staff are super helpful & kind! The turf is definitely the best part! Definitely would recommend if you are near the area an amazing gym

Guys, be-careful before making any contract for personal membership. You can not cancel in any circumstances before contract end.
However, member from gym either will provide you wrong information or will hide information to sign you the contract.

One of the member from gym told me, I can cancel contract for 2 reasons. One if medical reason and another is if I have to move from the city.

Later, they denied both and said they did not told me. I know this is lie as I confirmed this multiple times before signing contract.

So be careful and read all the terms.

A great size gym with amazing culture. People are friendly and most of the staff are amazing.
I was about to give it 4 stars because of the lack of speakers in the swimming pool area. The whole gym is equipped with music but the swimming pool. Also, those speakers are a safety feature in case of needing to announce some threatening conditions and evacuation (you cannot use a fire alarm for some situations).
Other than that, it's literally my best entertainment place. I met the district manager today and mentioned to him about the speakers and I told him that I will be editing my review in 3 months to update the status of that addition.
The gym itself is always clean, but unfortunately there are many irresponsible people who don't return their equipment after they are done with their workout but that's not the gym's responsibility.
I highly recommend this gym and looking forward to having the speakers installed in the swimming pool area just like other gyms:).

The gym is amazing! I’ve been working out there for a while now and it’s just been amazing. The instructors are really helpful and welcoming and the environment feels very motivating. I’m glad I joined this gym!

Great! Friendly staff, my personal trainer Robin is amazing. Since I started with him, I see alot of improvements.even my back pain gone. He is very creative and give me different exercises that helps me to get rid of pains that I got in my neck and back. I will continue with them. Overall I would recommend this gym.

The overall vibe is great and I have had nothing but good experiences. My experience with Robbin has been and continues to be perfect. Robbin gives me an excellent workout every time and is able to keep things fresh after months of going consistently. Great people and great results! I definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

This place is clean and all of the staff are professional.if you looking for a gym I recommend this place for you.

For over few days the hot tub is COLD.
Sauna is sometimes is OFF.
Staff are not bad, yet no actions to fix.
I feel completely disappointed.
I hope they do take action & maintenance could be better.

It is a nice facility, but is way too busy, can't get machines ir weights after 4 pm. But over all great service.

Location and environment is great in this club. However, fixing the equipments takes time more than expected. Tristan who is manager at does his best. It should be more push for immediate fixing. It’s been five days that we have 3 saunas instead of 3 squash courts, cause the AC does not work there! It is highly appreciated if this can be fixed asap.

Honestly, location is great. This gym is amazing, great environment the staff is very friendly. One of the best gym for workout and to enjoy facilities like basketball court, swimming pool etc.

Too many people here, hard to find free weights to use the during off peak hours, feels like a high school gym sometimes.

Since its opening, I've been a member of this gym. It's been crowded and overrun by teens since reopening following COVID limitations. I think it's fantastic that they're working out, but this has turned into more of a hangout than a gym.

I was very happy with the gym and the people here until someone scratched my car and the person run away. I came to the reception to ask if there are surveillance cameras in the parking lot. I just needed a short answer like " No sorry, we don't have any" intead the "manager" was taking the situation as it was a joke, very disrespectful and childish. This guy doesn't know how to talk to people in a stressful situation with a costumer. I felt like they were avoiding the situation and I don't understand why. I just needed a straight answer. Emily (trainer) she was very kind and empathetic. She should be the manager not that guy. Thanks for Emily I gave two stars otherwise it will be one.

Please, park away the main parking lot in front the gym (east side), there is another parking lot at the south side of the gym and you will not have this situation. There are many kids coming to this gym, so be careful in the parking lot

Always a good gym ️ with lots of machines and free weights. LA's are clean, well-lit, air conditioned and of similar layout. The buildings are designed and constructed by LA. They are not renovations of existing buildings. The clientele is mostly young and athletic.
June, 2022 LA Fitness in Aurora. It's a very busy gym ️‍️ and no one puts the weights in the correct place so you waste time looking for free weights. This facility is ok but the LA's in Newmarket and Barrie are better
