Recently went to this LA fitness location and was severely disappointed … near closing time a staff member came and stood up right next to me telling me the gym is about to close and didn’t move and was extremely disrespectful … while there were many many more members all around the gym and changing rooms but he stood right next to me telling me it’s closing … I’ve been a member of the la fitness for years now and by far this was the worst experience ever … the management team really needs to train their staff on greeting and respectfully speaking to their members!

This gym used to really good clean untill 2014-15. But after that gym probably started getting lot more members. This gym is not built to sustain that many people. If you go to that gym after 5 pm you wont even find the parking spot. The gym facilities like pool, sauna and hot tub always have some issues. Sauna is always full of truck driving uncles who just go there to sit in Sauna as a group for hour talk loud and irritate other people in Sauna by their irritating talk.
Hot tub should be named cold tub. Pool water heater does not work most of the time. Showers are dirty as hell.
Just a question to management why you people dont cap number of memberships when you know this gym is not capable of handling that many people.

I recently joined LA fitness and I just wanted to give a shoutout to Pawan for his help in sorting out my membership. He was a huge help and made the entire process incredibly easy for me.

My gym for over a year and had mixed experiences.
Good: decently clean, friendly staff and manager, equipment in working order

Bad: Pool chlorine was a huge issue and took months to fix, gym is short 3 x barbell and you always end up looking for one around. Gets very busy at peak hours (5pm - 8pm)

Great everything but the workers there not nice and if I'm am late by a minute they will not let me in

Got a membership from this location a few months ago, and have no regrets.one of the best choices I made for my body, health, and mind in 2022, and I'm seeing great results. The staff are very friendly, and are always motivated and excited to help you if you have any questions in general, or even fitness inquiries. Bought my pass from Komal Singh and I cant give him enough praise. Great guy, and gave me a peace of mind which was really important to me when starting a fitness journey.

Komal was very helpful and help me out with the services that I needed to use the facilities.

I have really enjoyed my experience here at this location. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly.

Big shoutout to Dupinder! He is the one who helped me and got me all signed up at this gym. Awesome dude! He seems very hardworking, friendly and so far he has been supportive with my fitness journey. Great staff here and it’s always fun to workout at this location. If you’re looking to sign up at LA Fitness, I would highly recommend you ask for Dupinder to help you out.

The sauna here is always very dirty, a lot of people can just walk in without anybody checking, hence the reason this place can be so crowded by the evening so my advice would be to plan your workout accordingly, best times to go would be mornings/afternoons.

What happened to maintenance and upkeep?

This is my home gym. Staff are awesome and chill however having visited various other LA’a around the GTA probably the only worse gym is the north Brampton location (airport rd). Hard to find available dumbbells and cable machines all the time.

It’s just a matter of the crowd and vibe that this gym attracts it’s just not comparable to other gyms. Not really the gyms fault but it is what it is.

Great place for a workout. Not the gym's fault but I see few (not too many) people who visit tend to just stand around the machine and do nothing but talk.

Not exactly a bad thing but can be frustrating when someone is waiting for the machine. All in all, the staff is great.

This LA fitness location is superb. They have all the amenities such as; sauna, pool, basketball court, sufficient weight training and cardio equipment and offer much more. But what makes this location even better, is that the staff that work here from my experience so far, has been genuine, kind, polite, friendly and caring. I have interacted with numerous staff members like Moe and Chris, as well as others from the sales team, the front desk, house keeping and even those at the LA fitness office. I have to say, that they definitely strive to help you reach your fitness goals.

Such a horrible service. My son goes for swimming school at British swim school part of la fitness. I came with my 4 yr old son and since its cold outside I wanted to make sure he was warm, so I decided to enter and stay on the side untill the coach comes for the training. I along with my son was asked to leave by a lady in her 20s at the front kiosk and she asked us to knock the door from outside and stand in the cold. I hope the lady also through same pain one day when she has her own family

Needed a place to work out while in town visiting family, so I got the 3 day guest pass online. When i got to the gym, I spoke to Komal who kindly extended my pass until the end of my trip! I had a great workout. There are plenty of machines, and my interaction with Komal and the rest of the staff members was excellent. I'm looking forward to using the facility for the rest of my stay. Thank you!

This is a filthy gym, the pool is neglected, Sikh people wear turban do their workout, sometime they don’t shower n enter the pool or hot tub. Men’s room, sauna, hot tub n pool is very unhygienic. I complained many times but the mgmt is adamant. So I left n joined another Gym

Women's section shiuld be more ventilated amd have more glutes workout machines. Minimum staff. Sometimes water dispenser is broken.

Had a great experience at LA Fitness, fletcher creek location. KOMAL helped me with the enrollment process from the beginning until I was good to start. He was super helpful and patient with answering all my questions. I would recommend reaching out to him for anyone who'd like to be a member at this gym. Looking forward to getting fit by summer next year and enjoying my workouts at LA.

Too much rush, and gym timing should be 24 hour, limited timing on holiday nd weekends, i am trucker its not worthy for me,

We had joined the training program for one year, and in 2 months my wife health conditions gone worse. Now I requested LA Fitness to please stop our program. They said we can change trainer but can't stop program and if you quit, you have to pay 50% of program amount. Now due to her health I have to discontinue and have to pay 50% of year program fee. When we joined we were told that she will be fine and we have training abilities to fix your problems. Traininer changed his job after a month and not showed up. No other trainer or person from LA Fitness reach us to inform us.
But still we have to pay our hard earned money for doing nothing and getting no relief on pain. Even it got worst.

Never recommend LA Fitness for any training programs.

We went there to join regular gym. They convinced us to buy program.

KIDS CLUB: DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN, THEY WILL BE NEGLECTED! If I could give ZERO stars I would. I considered myself a pretty relaxed parent. However, I took a quick tour and my 6 month old was fine when I left her. I had a 15min tour and then walked in to my child EXTREMELY upset. Screaming, crying, and gasping for air. The lady in charge of the children was watching my daughter cry. SHE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to try and console her. She had her sitting in a swing in front of the T. V and was just standing there looking at her crying. (there was only one other child in the kids club, who was also strapped in a seat). I called to complain to find out what there policy was regarding crying children, and I was told by MARIA (they would come and get you). As I was speaking to this lady she rushes me off the phone. Absolutely nonsense! I’m all for giving people grace and giving them the benefit of the doubt but these people legitimately do not care and about anything but their pay check.

Had an appointment with Chris to come and check it out. I was impressed at how friendly the staff was and how clean the club is; no funky smell here. I was also surprised to see normal looking every day people there not just fitness buff or people that looked lost walking around wondering what to do.
Chris took time to listen to "my story", gave me advise and some tips. I felt zero pressure to sign up. It was a real conversation not just a sales pitch. I was delighted with his honesty and humour.
I signed up and am excited to get going.
They have a huge pool, sauna, basketball court, fitness class room, a cycle room (one day I will be in one), lots of machines and a relaxing environment for a very honest price.

Even after talking to them and showing them the proof that membership is canceled and they assured us that they won’t charge us anymore we keep getting charged from them month after month. I have received the cancellation email as well. Shame.

The only gym I go too. People here are respectful and kind. The Staff is great too. Too name one I particularly like is Chris Gomes

I recently became a member at this location. Dupinder was very helpful and encouraging when he was helping me sign up. This is my first time in a gym and he was comforting and made me feel welcomed. As I have always wanted to slim down.

Visited this location. Amazing customer service. Especially Ravi one of the member service representative.

I am going to this facility more than a year.it was very good in the beginning.they always have issue with the swimming pool and the spa.before they used to fix the issue quickly.but not anymore.now minimum period is fixing the problem is one month or more.they always say in few days or tomorrow.but that never happened.i would not recommend this gym to anybody.

Great atmosphere. Very clean environment. Friendly staff, makes you feel welcomed unlike other gyms Ive visited. Signed up for a membership with a gentleman name Roshan, he was extremely helpful and informative and not pushy at all. Great customer service. Highly recommend joining this location!

Signed up recently after hearing great things about this location from family member. I was skeptical as Ive read horrible reviews online about aggressive salespersons and cleanliness of gym. Spoke to Roshaun as he was highly recommended for membership sign up. He was very professional and patient and answered all my questions, as I have previously visited other local gyms and was indecisive, I told him I was just exploring my options. After going through membership options I was given a tour and was happy to find they have a women's section. I decided to go with this location as it was very clean and had a friendly non judgemental vibe.nothing like the horrible reviews I've read. Roshaun even walked me through different classes offered here, and offered a complimentary assessment with sign up. I recommend visiting different locations before signing up despite online reviews as they are not always true.

The price is right for a nice gym with aerobics and weight equipment's and classes like regular yoga. The only thing I don't like is the constant attractions for the personal training,

Large gym with a variety of facilities such as swimming pool and kids club.
Cleanliness and maintenance should be improved particularly in the showers and the nasty curtains. Also how much does a hook cost? Some of the shower stalls have broken hooks where you would hang your towel.
Further some cardio machines have been out of service for several months. This club has potential if they improved their maintenance.

Shantel who works at the front is very rude and ignorant I've made a complaint to management. You should teach your employees to have better customer service skills. Highly unprofessionalism. She gave attitude and was rude and ignorant. Not a good look for paying gym members.

One of the guys working there yelled at me and got really angry for taking a video of myself working out. In addition I've attempted to cancel my membership but they told me to come in on 9-5 "business hours" and so i did and they still said they wouldn't do it. Overall Good machines, 80 % of staff are friendly, but i am going to have to switch to Anytime fitness, as it is less busier, much closer to me, and is open 24 hours. La fitness, you were not bad these past two years but i am going to have to go.

Perfect gym for me - always clean, great service, and not overcrowded. The fact that I've always had a comfortable experience at this gym motivates me to go to the gym more often. I'd recommend this location to anyone.

Really bad experience with their poor staff, i took a family plan of 4 people on fathers day and due to some issues i had to cancel the membership so i specially met the front desk in person and told her to cancel my membership and she did but by mistake she didn't cancel 1 of 4 people membership due to which they took 33 dollars from my account after watching that transaction i immediately called and told about that issue so they said sorry we will refund your money back but till today these people didn't cancel that 1 membership and today they again took 33 dollars from my account + 35 dollars! I don't know for what! After calling them 3 times still didn't got this issue resolved really poor staff! Had a bad experience they took 100$ without any reason.

I have unsuccessfully cancelled LA fitness membership multiple times. Initially I was told I could only cancel my membership in the physical location. So I went there after work. The receptionist then tells me that I can only cancel the membership during business hours of 9AM - 5PM since that's the only time the manager is around. So now i was stuck since I also work the same hours. Regardless, I made arrangements after few weeks and then visited the same LA location to cancel during "business hour". I was told verbally that my account was cancelled. Now after a month, my credit card gets charged again. I call back the location and I am told that my account was never cancelled and there is no notes whatsoever regarding my cancellation. As a "courtesy", they are now willing to cancel my account over the phone but not willing to get me the refund as I do not have a PROOF that I cancelled my account!
Whoever is looking to cancel, please get your written confirmation to avoid being scammed!

Majority of these reviews are fake no doubt. These guys will scam you without hesitation.

If you're having a problem with your trainer its because they arent even paid. So keep that in the back of your mind when you're questioning why my trainer sucks. These trainers dont care about their clients all they care about is the money. Watch out of the sales team, super pushy with sneaky sales tactics.
Also This gym is absolutely disgusting, nothing is organized. No ac, place is a sauna, youll be drenched in sweat after 5 minutes of working out.

Go to another like anytime, even goodlife, or shop local at small gyms.

This locations equipment is good enough for a decent workout. I completed almost two years of personal training at this location. The trainer I had was amazing but they are no longer working for the company.
If you do decide to join this location make sure everything they promise you is written in your contract. Anything from price adjustments to extra personal training days they offer you.
I was disappointed when I cancelled my account last month and the girl behind the desk told me I had to pay an extra month because it takes 10 days to process the payment and my next payment was in the next 6 days. I had a feeling that was not true and I asked her for head office phone number. Head office told me it only took three days to process and I didn't have to pay the extra month.
Just like any gym you need to ask many questions and make sure everthing is written in your contract or they do not have to honour what they originally told you.

Overall it’s ok, Only ‘WORST’ part that it closes too early specially on weekends and when it comes to 8 pm on weekends they start kicking you out of gym with no respect. They need to extend more on opening hours as their competitors does.

Gets the jobs done. A gym is as good as the person working out. Enjoy a few of the classes, particularly from the instructors Colleen (body works plus abs) and Alice (pilates). They make it worth you coming to the class

Decent location, clean and wait times for machines isn’t too crazy! They didn’t offer a lot of classes like GoodLife, I’ve made the switch only because of classes. Other than that LA fitness is good!

This gym is disgusting! They only have brown paper towels with hand sanitizer to wipe down the machines. Nobody and I mean nobody cleans a machine after use. Get some disinfectant wipes and put them everywhere. I had to leave

Good for it price. Busy during the day. Morning would be the best time to workout. Machines are in good condition. Dress up area and washrooms are just ok. Weights sometimes are all over the place.

Jessica is a manager at this location who doesn't empathize or sympathize with any situation.

The gym is always rammed and not enough machines or weights to lift. Extremely disappointed.will be cancelling my membership very soon.

Was a member here for 3 years. Called to cancel my membership and was told to come in to cancel in person. Very incompetent front desk girl. She told me I would have to pay an extra month if I cancel because the membership takes 2 weeks to cancel. Called the head office and it was all taken care of without an extra month charge in about 5 minutes.

They also try to screw you out of money any way they can.

It starts with the friendly and professional staff at the front desk from the moment you step in. It's such a great feeling to hear their hellos and goodbyes to each and every client that walks in. The gym layout is the best I've seen, the cleanliness of the facility is top notch (even with so many members coming in and out), and the atmosphere is live. To the front desk manager, staff and cleaners, keep up the great work and know you are all appreciated. You are reason why I will continue to renew my membership year after year. If I could give the gym and staff more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend this gym for the professionalism, friendliness, wide variety of equipment, cleanliness and a non-judgemental atmosphere. This is a brand and so facilities are really good. No wait time for cardio machines. The swimming pool is not that busy.

Sales rep just trying to sell, were rude.just got up and left.

Suggestion: Be nice to customer even though they don't become members
